Bio: As a kid, Eric was always under pressure. He was considered by his parents to be a bad child, as he did not always get the best grades. They were constantly angry at him for not being the best and over time he grew tired of it. Then he began going on the internet, and tried his hand at MMO's. The way they captivated him was indescribable. He would play them constantly day and night, but his grades began to go down. His father, in an outrage, destroyed his computer, cell phone, and every other piece of technology Eric owned. Fed up with how they treated him, Eric unleashed his anger. He couldn't remember what happened, but when he came to his senses, he was in a hospital, bloodied and bruised. He was only 11 at the time, and his parents had disappeared. Eric had been abandoned in a hopsital in a city that he didn't even know. He was put into an orphanage that he really liked, and where everyone was nice to him despite not being the best at school. He got a job at 14 years old, and gave some of every paycheck to the orphanage he stayed at, which was having a hard time staying afloat. At the age of 16, Eric heard of a new game coming out for the VR helmet, the NerveGear. Being an MMO fanatic, Eric went out and purchased the system, and eagerly awaited the game. The day finally came when he walked out of the store with his brand new game,
Sword Art Online. "Link Start!"
On the outside he seems extremely calm and collected, but ever since being abandoned, he hasn't been stable at all. At times he goes downright insane. He heard the name Strider in an American movie at one time, and he liked the sound it made in his ears. He made this his name to use in almost every MMO he played.
