what types of clubs are at your school?
Are you in any of them?
I am in Key Club. we are a volunteer club and we do things for our town. we have adopted a family at Christmas time and Thanksgiving time.we also donate money to the Ronald McDonald house.
I am also I am also in F.O.R. ( Friends of Rachel) Rachel died in a school shooting in 1999 i think it was. the first school shooting ever. her family came up with Rachel's Challenge. what this club does is look for kids who are lonely and need a friend. Then we walk up to them and talk. become friends with them. we do something nice then they (we hope) and make somebody else day just a bit brighter.

I was never in a club when I was in high school, though looking back, I wish I was. When I was in high school, I wasn't really interested in making friends. The group I did have disbanded after two of our friends broke up during my sophomore year, and I became a little apathetic after that. Though, now that I've graduated and moved out from my mom's, I'm more happy, and making friends is something I wish I could do. I think that if I had joined a club in high school, I would have made some friends, but back then, I didn't really care enough to go learn about them, and I thought joining a club was more about enjoying what the club does rather than making friends and being a team. Now, I recently joined a Christian group at my college, but attending their meetings is hard because my schedule conflicts with theirs. I'm hoping to make a Christian friend soon though.
Key Club sounds really fun. I bet you feel really good helping families during the holidays. I would love to do that now.
Is F.O.R. a club across a variety of schools, or just yours? My school didn't have that club..though not much exciting ever happens where I live. I wish my school had a club like that though when I was in it; a club like that would be encouraging. I'm sure it draws you out of your shell too, something that I needed back in high school. Sounds like you're brightening up lives in more ways than Gaia smile
