This is the Grand Hall of Shibusen. Various events such as the opening ceremony take place in this room. The door is either left wide open or locked tight depending on the festivities taking place at the time. There is enough room for the entire school's population to fit plus a raised area for Shinigami himself - to either lounge around in or address the school.
