((Set directly after Dallol's Awakening~ =3))
Oh for the love of everything holy, what happened to her and what on earth was she supposed to do with herself now? Five minutes had already passed since Hafwen nearly sustained a mortal injury from some freakish industrial accident which seemed to have triggered some form of magical girl change in her and currently it seemed like she was stuck like this, clad in something that was totally inappropriate for the weather and with a new name stuck in her head to boot.
Just what kind of name was Dallol, Page of Uranus anyway? Some kind of character that walked right out of a science fiction book?
When she focused her gaze on the sand and bricks that were now strewn all over the exact spot on the walkway she had previously been on, the fact that she was that close to becoming seriously hurt or even dead hit her then, causing her to shudder as she tried to remember how exactly she had managed to get herself out of this relatively unscathed with only a couple of bruises and lacerations from whatever still hit or scraped her forearms in the end. They hurt of course but at least she could be thankful that her speed and reflexes had kept her alive.
Besides, she supposed that the pain was a fair enough trade off for the knowledge that she was indeed very much still alive - thank you very much to whatever had effected the change though she would very much like to know how she could change back now, so that she could return to her dorm and maybe pay a visit to the Infirmary to get those lacerations properly cleaned and bandaged. Sighing, she peered at the ladle she now had in her possession, half wondering if it had anything to do with her transformation as a rather perplexed expression began to cross her face.

Anything Remarque found to be out of the ordinary was certainly something worth investigating. This whole evening had been of interesting things—so what was one more?
When an order aura flickered onto his radar, it was interesting. He hadn't been really close at the time, but it wasn't hard to meander over. Construction zones were always a bit eerie for him, perhaps because of all the unsecured rubble lying around. Coming across the scene of some apparent mishap made him wrinkle his nose. Eying first the strewn sand and bricks and then glancing at the roughed up page, he could assume one of two things had happened.
One, she'd been playing in the construction zone and taken a nasty fall or two, she'd gotten out of some scrape with a youma. Either way, she looked a bit disoriented, so Remarque wouldn't have been surprised if she'd got a good bump to her noggin.
He didn't approach with the intent of sneaking up on her; as much as he loved startling inattentive individuals, he derived the greater pleasure when they were a bit mower powerful than this one. When he was fairly close, he spoke to announced his presence. "Quite a nice little mess you've got here. Decided to do a little late night construction, or have you had a nasty little misstep?"

Dallol wasn't exactly expecting to have company, startled by the remarks coming from an obviously male voice as her head snapped towards where the Eternal Dark Mirror Senshi currently stood, her knuckles already beginning to turn white both from the cold and the death grip with which she held her ladle in front of her as she first took in Remarque's appearance then promptly went on to scrutinize him from head to toe.
Great! Now here was someone who seemed to have something in common with her such as the garb he was currently donned in. That was unless she was seriously mistakened and he was actually decked in a cosplay of a fictional character at the moment. Not that she had any way of knowing better, short of directly asking of course.
"I will plead innocence and say the latter, but how on earth was I supposed to know that all these bricks and sand would suddenly come raining from the sky when I was just minding my own business while making my way home?" And if it wasn't already obvious enough that she had no insight whatsoever as to what she was, who she was speaking to as well as what she was about to get herself into, what she commented on next as she lowered the ladle back to the side of her body would probably clue the other powered in to her current state of mind about her situation.
"And now it seems that I'm stuck. How am I supposed to go home like this?"

Remarque observed the girl—how tightly she was gripping the ladle in her hands. At first glance, he would have taken her for just a page out on the town, though her words left him with a most peculiar thought.
Perhaps she might have meant how was she supposed to go home with all those scrapes, though the fact that she mentioned being stuck…
Did she not know how to power down?
"Ah, the plight of the Order," Remarque said, sounding almost mischievous as he continued to try and assess the situation. "You are…new?" he prompted, then. Certainly if such was the case, he had absolutely nothing to fear; he took on a more relaxed posture and crossed his arms over his chest, seeming rather interested in such a tale. "Has no one appeared to show you the ropes? You've just," he nodded to her knightly attire, "Just sprouted that, and that was it?"

Order and Chaos. Two sides of the same coin that Dallol remained blissfully unaware of, having yet to cross path with any of the senshis, knights, negaverse agents and youmas in Destiny City for the past 15 years. Until now that is.
"Yes, I'm new. Supposed to be Dallol, Page of Uranus if that means anything at all." She took the bait that Remarque dangled right in front of her, simply glad that she had the good fortune of being in the company of someone who could help shed some light on who she was supposed to be at the moment and not look at her all funny as if she was crazy for running around while decked in her current attire. Not that it was something by choice on her part obviously. The see through fabric was a little... disconcerting to be honest.
"You mean it's customary to have a welcome party for a newcomer?" Making a face at the cooking utensil that was no doubt the cause of all this mess, she crossed her arms over her chest as well, trying to keep herself warm as she barely managed to keep herself from shivering. "What am I supposed to do anyway?" He'd better not say that she was in charge of the cooking just because she had a ladle with her, otherwise whatever higher powers that be that turned her into this was going to regret his/her decision very very quickly.

Oh, how interesting.
Remarque clucked his tongue, and then shrugged. "Well, unfortunately, if you want my opinion, you're playing for the wrong team. Which, you obviously can't help. Thankfully, there is still time to correct your situation before you get stuck. See, you have unfortunately been chosen by a defunct leader who expects you to fight for her mistakes—and she doesn't even have the heart to show up and introduce you to things. The sort that just awakens a poor young girl into a world of chaos and then expects her to fight. Which, you will be expected to do. The knights are expected to fight—and kill, if needbe. Monsters and humans. It's a very difficult life you've just been drafted in. I'm so sorry, Dallol."
He seemed to genuinely want to share condolences with her, however if it was one thing Remarque had long since learned to excel in, it was putting on a good show. "You'll be expected to work with complete strangers, none of which who care about you to the same extent that they care about themselves. People who will throw you under the bus, sacrifice you for their own well-being—people who will ask you to commit nearly unspeakable evils unto your fellow man—all just to prove their own deluded point. You will be frowned upon if you disobey, scolded if you don't fight the—you've heard of reports, of strange monsters harassing citizens, often late at night? You'll fight those. But worse, one day you'll find out that they're humans, placed under an evil curse. Humans that could be saved, but that no one of the White Moon cared to try."
Of course, he didn't really know much about the youmas, or if they could be saved. But she was knew—what the hell would she know about them?
"And then they'll expect you to go out and fight more. And it will never stop—until the day you make a mistake and one of them kills you." Remarque allowed a few seconds to pass, hoping that such a fear would sink in, and then added, "But, it doesn't have to be that way. There's still time to save you."

Wait a minute. What did he mean by her being on the wrong team when she hadn't even met anyone who was supposed to be on her side? More importantly, just what on earth had she just gotten herself into?
Feeling as if she had just leaped from a frying pan and into the fire, Dallol found herself frowning as Remarque gave her his own glorified version of what the knights and those standing on the side of the White Moon stood for and were thus expected to do. "There must have been a big mistake. I'm still in school and know nothing at all about fighting, much lest killing something. Or someone for that matter."
She shook her head, obviously not liking the sound of what had been freely shared with her by the Chaos-aligned Eternal Senshi. "Can't I just say no and walk away from all of this? I'll just go back to my dorm. Go straight to bed after a hot shower and then forget about all this like the bad dream it's meant to be the next morning. I mean... it's not like anyone will miss me since none of those from the side I'm supposed to be on knows that I'm here. Right..?"
It was probably a long shot by all means but she still couldn't help hoping against hope that this was what Remarque was referring to when he mentioned that there was still enough time to correct her situation. She had a bad feeling that it was not however. "Who are you really? One of the Black Sun?"

Remarque immediately blinked at her question. "Black…Sun? No," he said slowly, processing her question. "…Forgive me for being rude. I was so caught up with you that I've forgotten to introduce myself. I am Remarque, Dark Mirror Senshi—if that's what you were referring to—of Puppetry. I am an enlightened senshi, one who could have been with the White Moon but found a much more honest calling in life. With a group whose only desire is to see that Earth is protected and that the world and this universe are safe." He figured it was all a lot to take in, but she wasn't flailing and foaming at the mouth, so that was a plus.
"Though, by all means—if you've really no interest in the whole thing, I think there's still enough time for that, too. To just shun it all. Pretend like it never happened. Throw away that dinky little thing," he said, gesturing towards the ladle she held. "I suppose that's one way to save yourself from catastrophe." And even if she wasn't going to be swayed for Chaos, one less knight to deal with was never a bad thing, either. All things considered, he'd take whatever he could get out of all of this; he just needed her to go along with it, too.

Dark Mirror Senshi. So that was the name of the faction that stood between the White Moon and Earth. Pursing her lips, Dallol fell silent, her facial expression one of contemplation as she looked at first Remarque then the ladle that she still had in her hand. "If Earth and its inhabitants are truly in danger as you've said and I have the power to potentially make a difference... I can't walk away from all this."
She supposed she could if she wanted to as the Eternal Senshi of Peppetry had pointed out. Feign indifference. Pretend that this world didn't exist and that she had no part to play in it. But when it came to putting her foot down with regards to which path she should pursue from here on, she found herself unable to do that. Unable to turn a blind eye to the state of things after being made aware that the planet and those whom she loved were possibly in harm's way.
"But tell me Remarque, how would I know who is who out there? How would I know if the next person who dresses oddly like us is actually allied with the White Moon and not a Dark Mirror Senshi like yourself, short of making self introductions?" She was definitely in on this from this point on and she was determined to find a way to make it work because she simply had to.

Ugh, since when had being a Dark Mirror Senshi meant teaching knights how to tell them apart? It was an internal debate; on one hand, Remarque could justify teaching a member of Chaos what he could, but on the other hand—Order? Was there any benefit to this? Or should he walk away now, leave it as it was. Let her suffer in her ignorance and hope no one came to her rescue.
…On the other hand, there was always the possibility that he could influence the early opinions of this page…and that made it at least worth trying. "You'll feel it," he explained, hoping that this wasn't a prime example of screwing himself over. "There are a lot of ways to describe it, I suppose. It's like a little hum, a little buzz that pops up. Kinda like a bee flying around, if you will. Order and Chaos—that is, you and me, for example, feel different. You could say it's," he paused, considered how he might described it, and then clarified a few seconds later, "Like a different frequency. Anyone powered up gives off a sort of aura, so you can identify them from further away. I can't describe what each one individually feels like, but Negaverse agents—they're not so bad—have a different feel then, say, a Dark Mirror Senshi. Which is different from a White Moon senshi, which is different from a" he gestured towards her, "A page. All I can say is that the stronger, the louder it is, the more powerful the person. You'd have to take some time, explore a bit, to get familiar with the different types, but after a while it's just second nature to figure out who else is in your area without ever even seeing them. If that makes sense?"

So long as she put her mind and soul to it, she could do this. Was what Dallol thought to herself as she gave her full attention to Remarque when the Dark Mirror Senshi started explaining to her the mechanics behind sensing other powered up individuals alike themselves. It sounded pretty straightforward alright and while she was raring to give it a shot right here and now, she really didn't want to waste the Chaos Senshi's time unnecessarily while she figured out what sounded pretty much like the bare basics. Things like this pretty much followed the fundamental rule of 'Practice makes perfect' after all.
"Yes it does and thank you for explaining all that to me. So I guess I'm pretty much on my own from here on since I obviously can't see eye to eye with the Order's way of doing things and there's no way that those on your side can take me in. Right?" There was a hint of reluctance if one was to listen carefully enough to the tone of her voice or the look that flashed briefly in her eyes when she ended her sentence. She wasn't as confused as she was initially now. Yet that didn't quite equate to her being ready to go out there and conquer the world in her powered up form either. Not at least for awhile as she gave the Eternal Senshi her bravest smile and started rubbing her forearms while trying to avoid the scrapes that were pretty much numb by now from the cold.
"I should just go and seek to snuff out the strongest signature on their side so that this war will come to an end faster. Strike them where they least expect it. Throw the Order into disarray..." The Page was thinking aloud from this point on of course, toying with ideas as to where she should go from here and hopefully in doing so, help to influence the tide of the battle in the favour of the one that she was fighting for from now on.

It was very difficult to keep a grin from his face; Remarque couldn't have imagined he'd ever find himself in such a position. He liked Dallol, if not for her gullibility, then for her enthusiasm. "That would certainly be one way to do things. Though, you'll find that the strongest signatures aren't going to be the easiest to defeat. They are powerful, perhaps more so than you could ever imagine. I doubt you'd be able to cause any of them immense harm. The Dark Mirror Court, while I regret to admit that there is no way we can take you in, can at least assist you in any endeavor to withdraw from the White Moon. The Negaverse, should you like, can induct you among their ranks, and would do so gladly, I suspect. However, if you'd rather not, perhaps we could at least help each other? I," he gestured to himself, "am far more powerful than you, as I'm sure you can tell?" His tone was far from condescending, however he still seemed in education mode. "It would be dangerous for you to attack anyone much stronger than you, so perhaps I could assist in such matters? If ever you come across a member of the White Moon who departs on you vital information, it would be much appreciated if you would spread the word in my direction? In which case, I might be able to rattle things up a bit easier, get this war closer to an end?"

Darn right Dallol was going to withdraw from the White Moon and this game of charades that they were playing. If any of them was going to come along and attempt to initiate her into this war under the pretext of her belonging to their side, he or she was certainly going to get it from the Page herself. "I suppose that I should seek out the Negaverse whom you speak of to see if I'll be able to fit in then. I will appreciate any assistance the Dark Mirror Court can offer in the meantime if you don't mind."
It really was a shame that the Dark Mirror Court wouldn't be able to take her in when she had every intention of rewarding Remarque's timely advice and guidance with her allegiance. Well, she figured that it probably didn't matter ultimately so long as she knew her own stand and who her friends were in this whole mess. "I can see the point that you're trying to make here. Would you have any idea just how powerful the strongest among them are then?"
She had no idea at all that the Eternal Chaos Senshi standing before her was that much stronger than herself until she actually paused to compare the difference between their energy signatures, her head lowering slightly while her brows were furrowed in concentration at the same time. Lifting her head, she nodded a few times at Remarque, the reality of the difference between their current strength finally hitting her as she realized just how silly her earlier plan of going after the strongest among the White Moon must have sounded to him. If things were going to be as easy as that, she probably wouldn't be standing here in this silly garb already.
"If I'm reading you right, you're suggesting that I should pretend to go along with them on their charade like a spy of sorts?" The Page wasn't really sure if she would be the best candidate for such a role, knowing that she was usually far from covert by nature. Didn't mean that she couldn't try though she really wasn't keen on going anywhere near the White Moon any time in the near future. "Anything I should look for in particular? How should I reach you?" She should be fine after having a couple of days to let all of this sink in. She needed to do what she could to help bring this war closer to an end after all.

"Well, to reach me, the simplest thing to do is find me at the park. Thursdays, in the evening, I'm around. Until at least midnight. Though, if it's an emergency, I suppose finding anyone of Chaos could help. Ideally, a Dark Mirror Senshi, of which can give me a call and I can show up anywhere, anytime. The Negaverse might be a little more difficult to reach me through, but there are a few that might help you find me." He shifted positions, already wanting to head home and celebrate.
Unless Dallol was playing him for the fool, tonight was going perfectly. "Any information would be ideal. Plans for attack, any of their terrorist movements. Any new information. But nothing you aren't comfortable with. Knowing their plans helps us stop them, before people get hurt. If you are worried about your own safety, fall back. I don't want you to get hurt," Remarque said, seeming genuinely concerned for her wellbeing. "And if you are interested in joining the Negaverse, there are definitely a few people to talk to. People that might be able to help you out. Benitoite, he's a friend of mine. Been around for a while. Very logical, level headed. Open to conversation. If you aren't looking for trouble, he won't give you any. Just tell him—or anyone of Chaos giving you a hard time—that you're under the protection of Remarque, and if they have issue with that to contact me directly and we'll sort the whole thing out."

Park. Thursday evenings. That sounded simple enough as a take home message if Dallol needed help or further clarification on just about anything she hadn't covered this evening with Remarque. "Alright. I'll see if I can find your friend then."
Benitoite.
It would probably be a while till she located or had the wonderful fortune of running into this particular individual the way her path had crossed with the Dark Mirror Senshi's this particular evening, but she figured that it was alright. She was going to need some time to process everything she was told before she could plan her next course of action from here.
Making a mental note of the name she was given, the Page offered the Eternal Senshi a smile, rubbing her hands together quickly to warm them up some while she spoke next. "Thanks... for telling me the truth and your help in trying to sort this out, Remarque. I'll be in touch if anything useful or potentially may be of interest comes up." She didn't even realize that she had cleanly forgotten to check with him as to how she was supposed to go about reverting to her civilian self throughout the entire conversation.
Kyuseisha no Hikari I think this should be done with the next post or so? ^^
