Genesis cleared her throat nervously and peered sideways at Walpurgis. He'd been roped into a mission with her, and she hoped he wasn't too annoyed.
It had started off innocently enough, of course. She was teaching one of Doyle's acquaintances how to tamper with a particular toilet, and her idiot of a partner had forgotten to use the seat covers. Next thing they knew, the toilet exploded and had taken most of the bathroom supplies with it. A passing Executive attributed it to everyone around the room, and she and Walpurgis were tasked with the mission to steal emergency cleaning supplies and take care of the mess. Doyle, Fifi, and the others were told to bring back more toilet paper. Not the most exciting of missions, but it was something... right?
"Sooo," she started, appraising the giant puddle on the floor, the porcelain debris, the cracks on the wall, and the rest of the disorder in the bathroom. "We should get started."

Walpurgis scratched his neck absentmindedly as he viewed the cataclysm before him. Water everywhere, and the stench - it spelled like the slums he grew up in. Stretching, he gave a small nod to the girl, reaching for a mop.

Genesis raised a brow at the action, but did likewise. Who knew when such things would come in handy. She took what remained of a plunger and set out, scooching her shoes along the floor as she left to quicken the drying process.
Erebos wrinkled his nose as Genesis neared but made no comment. Regretfully, this wasn't the first time she'd returned smelling worse for wear, and he'd long since learned to take such things in stride.
It looked as if she had another mission, and he stepped up beside her as he passed, his eyes and ears attentive to any commands she may have chosen to give.
"We'll need to carry some things back. See if you can find some others," Genesis requested of her Lucario as she and Walpurgis made their way outside of the base. It wasn't uncommon for her to leave her Pokémon out to roam where they pleased, although she tried to keep some nearby if needed. She hadn't expected another mission so soon, however, and had told them they could go far today if they found something exciting. Still, she wasn't too worried: she trusted Erebos to find a few capable comrades and lead them to her.

As Genesis spoke to the lucario, Walpurgis spun and twirled the mop in his hands, getting a feel for the makeshift weapon. It wasn't his knives, but he had lost most of them in the last mission, and until he located them or commissioned more, he'd have to make do.

Meanwhile, Genesis contemplated whether the plunger handle would fit in her sleeve. By the time she decided she didn't really want to put it in there anyway, a 24-hour convenience store came in view, and she paused to slip behind a building.
On one hand, the store was close, and although it was lighted, she doubted there would be anyone in there this late at night past the staff. She was sure they would easily be able to sneak past the cameras and make off with their loot, but there wouldn't be much. On the other, she knew of a warehouse further off that would be more furnished than the store could ever be. They'd have to break a few locks and travel farther with a heavier load, but the end result could be worth it.
Both had their pros and cons, especially when it came to time. If they were out longer, there was a chance some poor sap would've seen the damage and help fix it by the time the two returned. Alternatively, there could be some slight flooding.
She was used to raiding supplies and quietly explained the situation to Walpurgis, before looking at him inquisitively. She silently asked if there was anything he could add to help make a decision or if he had any preferences with either.
While the all-important task of retrieving toilet supplies was discussed, Erebos quietly made his way back to Genesis. She usually exerted some effort to hide her scent, but her time in the bathroom was taking its toll, and he was easily able to locate her. Hiding in the shadows behind him was Perseus, the only one he'd been able to find at such short notice. She couldn't exactly carry much, but he was sure her size and abilities would be appreciated in the mission to come.

Walpurgis listened quietly to the plan, and upon being asked for his opinion he spoke up. "I say we just take what we can from the store. It's closer and less trouble, and the sooner we finish the first phase of the mission, the sooner we can proceed to the second."
He pulled two pokeballs from his trench coat, sending out Gangrel and Satori. "Alright, guys. I want you to find the security station, and either knock out the guards or disable the surveillance. Whichever works." Gangrel hopped up onto Satori's back, and the two pokemon vanished.

Genesis nodded her agreement and, turning to Erebos, signaled for him to circle the perimeter. He would use Psychic to attempt to ward off any who came close while they were inside, or rush to warn them if need be.
She peered around when he was gone, looking for the Pokémon he'd brought in the dim light. Only Perseus' form could be made out, but one was better than nothing. She motioned for the cat-like Pokémon to follow after them, trusting she could stay hidden.
After that, she looked towards Walpurgis, waiting for him the announce his Pokémon's success as her hand gripped the plunger's handle tighter. She'd seen him at work before, and didn't doubt his Pokémon's abilities, nor his own.
Perseus skittered back in surprise when Walpurgis' Pokémon were released. She didn't recognize him at first, but she'd know her parents anywhere.
She longed to cry out for them, or at least wind around Walpurgis' ankles until he took notice of her, but her training kicked in and she kept to herself. She could wait for the mission to finish first... she hoped.

Satori and Gangrel reached the security station, and the rattata jumped off the liepard as she melded back into the shadows. Gangrel squeezed underneath the door, looking around. There was a fat guy in a police-like uniform, but he seemed distracted by a magazine. Gangrel skittered over to the table, climbing up quietly. He passed the man, catching a glimpse of some human boobs, and hopped down to the cords connected to the surveillance system. He began chewing on the cords, and a noise followed by the fat man swearing told him he'd gotten the right one. He waited for the fat man to leave before heading back to Satori.
---------------------------
After a few minutes, the two pokemon returned from taking care of the security - and given the distinct lack of blood on Satori's claws, it was clear they had taken a non-violent route. Walpurgis bent down and scratched the two pokemon approvingly. He turned to Genesis.
"Alright, surveillance is out. There'll still be guards, but we won't be caught on camera. Let's go."

On cue, Genesis made her way towards the store. She stuck to the unlighted areas, but otherwise went directly to the doors. If anyone saw her, she would claim she'd come this late for an emergency replacement plunger, and hope that no one would want to delve into the details.
Closer to the entrance, she adopted a subtler approach and, although the doors whirred open, the clerk inside wouldn't have received any sign of her entrance. Unseen and unheard, she made her way quickly amongst the aisles, looking for the correct section.
Perseus fluffed proudly when she heard her parents being praised, but again kept it to herself. When they set off, she stood back, then hung around the doors. She would keep an ear out if Gen needed her, and would serve as a distraction if necessary to ensure her trainer wasn't spotted.

Walpurgis followed in after her, walking casually through the store. He peered into each aisle as he passed, mop in hand.

Genesis snagged some unclaimed ropes and laces as they made their way through the shop, tucking them into her sleeves to keep her hands free for the plunger. She'd use them to tie some of the supplies to her own Pokémon later on, so that they wouldn't be limited to just what she and Walpurgis would be able to carry when they returned to base.
"Grab everything you can," she said quietly when they finally reached the right section. Usually, she'd be more selective with what was taken, but an entire bathroom had been destroyed and they didn't really need to be picky at this point.
"We'll hide them outside and come back for more."

Wordlessly, Walpurgis grabbed a box of toilet paper, balancing it flawlessly on one hand. He could carry more, but it wouldn't be good to be encumbered in case a fight broke out.

Although Genesis could fight if she needed to, she usually left the job to her Pokémon, often sneaking Leto and other small members of her party into her pockets if she could, just in case. Unfortunately for Walpurgis, she expanded her expectations for herself onto him, as well.
This would be Walpurgis' first bathroom-supply run, if she recalled correctly, and she mistook his caution for hesitance. Believing herself to be helping, she piled some towels, clothes, and other fabricy material over his shoulders, looped some items onto his free arm, and left a brand new plunger by his side to carry with his mop when they were ready to head out. After equipping herself in a likewise fashion, she crouched, readying herself to dart for the door when it was clear.
Perseus saw her trainer's intention, and she headed towards the opposite corner of the store. Once there, she conspicuously knocked an item onto the floor, and continued to do so until she had thoroughly attracted the clerk's attention.

Walpurgis arced an eyebrow at Genesis, but otherwise said nothing. He rushed to and out the door once the clerk was distracted.

The mission was going well, Genesis observed happily as she followed after Walpurgis. It wasn't really unexpected -- this was only a simple restocking mission, after all. Still, you never knew when things could go wro--
The store suddenly exploded into a frenzy of noise. It sounded as if a Pokémon battle was taking place, and she thought she could hear Percy's yowls among them. The hairs on the back of her neck lifted with worry, and she rushed to conceal her goods in a nearby alleyway before heading back to the store. Erebos had heard it, too, and joined her almost immediately.
Perseus had been successful in distracting the clerk, and had managed to soundlessly hide, too, when the human released his Pokémon. He was growing wary, and had hoped his two Growlithes would help allay his fears. Instead, they had instantly (and loudly) declared Percy's presence, and she could do little but instigate a battle. She didn't dare run outside when it would risk getting the Rockets caught, and though she put up as much fight as she could, she was soundly defeated before long.
