Lynnea was wandering on her own again - though she'd been traveling for some time with a friendly, blue giant, she tended to wander off on her own from time to time. Since coming down from the North, Lynnea loved being able to journey by her lonesome, without a guardian watching over her at all times. Today was one of those days. Having gone beyond the range of being able to check on her old meadows, where Cheveyo had found her, Lynnea knew it was time to find a new one to look after.
With the amount of caution appropriate to wandering through a strange forest, Lynnea found two or three sun-yellowed meadows before finally stumbling onto a green one, complete with several blooming plants. Happy to find such a healthy one, Lynnea took her time exploring it, smelling each flower she walked past. They were all, oddly, in the range of pink - sometimes so pale it was white; others, so deep it was nearly bloodred. It was no surprise, therefore, that she blended in quite well with her surroundings. Content to stay there for the morning and head back to Cheveyo around noon, when he'd probably start to really worry, Lynnea settle down among the grasses, waiting for something interesting to happen.

Shika was traveling away from her sister and brother. Though they aren't really blood related to her and not even the same breed. Seeing they are Fluttercorns but they adopted her when she had no family no friends and no where to call home. But right now she is looking for clues to her past and her lost memories. After all the thought of something bad happening to her that caused her memories to fade away scares her. She doesn't wanna recover them if that is the truth. But what if she had a lover? A family? What it there is something important she is forgetting?

Lynnea's ears perked up as she heard something in the woods nearby - something almost like the faint footsteps of one of the people of the North. If she hadn't known that she'd thoroughly put them off her trail a while back, she would have bolted away from whatever was approaching her. Instead, she waited, wondering what it could be if not one of her people. Was it possible that there were others that had the characteristics of those she'd left behind in the North? Cheveyo, of course, seemed to have them, but he was not the same - he was far larger than any other Cerynei she'd yet seen. The quieter, more fleet-footed female-sized Cerynei were what she'd always been accustomed to seeing, as the only male she'd been allowed to spend time with was her father... And that was what she recognized in the footsteps of whoever was coming her way. Her imagination assigned a Cerynei female to those light footsteps in the woods nearby - someone with natural coloring, a beautifully understated kind of mare, with the characteristic dainty form, fluffy ears, and small antlers of their kin.
Finally deciding it might be best to waylay the stranger, if only to see if she could find a new friend in this unfamiliar land, Lynnea called out to her. "Hello, Miss Cerynei out there?" she called uncertainly, hoping she was right. If it turned out to be a male or something, she didn't want to pay for mistaking its identity for a female Cerynei. Just in case, Lynnea got to her feet if the need to flee presented itself.

Hearing a voice of another mare call out. "Cerynei? What is that?" She whispers to herself as she shrugs as she walks towards where the voice came. Calling out in a voice that the other could be heard. "Hello. I am Shika-Nijiiro. May I ask your name?" She prances a bit to meet up with this female she has heard as she wonders if she could make a new friend and find out what breed she is and where she has come from. After all she doesn't know her past and is unsure if she really wants to know it. Thinking that maybe she forgot for a reason and that is true though she doesn't know that a pack of skin walkers took out her true family and her herd. It isn't known if they are survivors besides her.
