Stupid jungle, with all of its stupid branches

Muro let out a loud and irritable growl as he pulled his large wings loose of yet another branch.

Why the hell was he out here anyway? He really couldn't remember, he'd been in such a blind rage when he flew away from his last attempt for global takeover, that somehow he'd ended up here. Somewhere in recesses of his mind, he knew there had to be a reason, but at the moment he couldn't tell you anything.

All these stupid damn birds, getting in his way, the vines gnarling into his wings. He was angry with himself for picking such a stupid place to fly to. But he still had no idea why he'd chosen it. Surely it couldn't have been for ease of location, he stuck out here like a sore thumb.

Kicking his way through to final bit of brush, the male tumbled out of the woods head first, doing a small front flip along the way. It was embarrassing was what it was. Glowering his eyes he scanned the area for any potential witnesseses .... that's when he first laid eyes on her.

Her body was tense, something he had come to expect from those who dared look him in the eyes. He was something to be feared after all, why on Earth wouldn't she look the part?

His glare stood firm, shooting daggers of ice at her for each second he had to wait for her to move. Something she wasn't prepared to do.

"You're in my way."

Snorting his nostrils, he rolled his eyes as a bit of smoke flared from them. Small licks of blue flame flaming from the ends.

Who was this female to speak to him like this?

Taken aback by her straight forward personality, Muro outstretched his wings. Creating a large gust that surrounded the two in near hurricane force. "I will NOT watch my tone of voice!" Muro's began to yell, his throat emitting strange snarling noises at the same time.

"Nor does it matter where i'm going or who you are! What makes you think I could ever care to know you?" Letting out a boisterous laugh, he looked at the female before him angrily. "Now ... you're still in my way.."

"Please. Do not make me move you."

Muro simply rolled his eyes at her comment. She obviously wasn't impressed by his obvious physical strength. But he didn't care much, his ego was faaaaar too inflated for her pathetic attempts at threats to penetrate it.

He simply huffed in remark to her other comments. So what if he got lost some more? Um HELLO! WINGS? He'd take to the sky if he sincerely needed to, but for him, there was no destination. So who cared if he got lost along the way?

"You're such a simple creature. So impressed with your own strength that you can't see when someone outranks you... It's impressive to say the least."Rolling his eyes once again he reached one long claw ridden arm and pushed her aside with ease. Whether she remained unharmed wasn't a matter he cared to delve into, though secretly, he had tried to be gentle.

"Now, as I said, you're in my way" Grinning his devilish grin from ear to ear, he proceeded past her. Walking straight for the water before him. It couldn't hurt to take a drink before setting off, could it?

As the female's sharp horns jabbed the male in the side he reared back, more out of shock than pain. With his eyes now ablaze with some form of emotion he gazed over the female quizzically.

There was something about her that he liked, perhaps it was just her pure tenacity?

Snorting slightly at the female he turned to face her once more.

"You're not like most females are you? There's something about you ..."

Looking her over simply wasn't enough to place what he was looking for.

"But I can't place exactly what it is ...

Muro's eyes shot open with surprise at the female's words, yes ... she was most definitely different from all the other females he'd run into.

"Silly indeed ...." He mumbled under his breath, still looking over Hati with interest. He liked what he saw in her, someone so eager to jump down another's throat? Especially when the other was at least twice her size, with a wingspan that easily doubled that.

Interesting indeed.

"I dare say tenacious, but I don't quite think it does you justice." Tapping his chin lightly with a claw, he shrugged his shoulders. "It matters not though, you are what you are, and what you are is ... impressive, intriguing, and interesting..."
