Psywater kept on getting taken down by the Rockets, probably because he was such a big target. Lizzie wondered when they will ever get a break from battling.

Fifi found herself facing one of her tormentors. She paused, then smiled tightly. "Happy now? You finally get to be right about me being a Rocket. Too bad you were wrong earlier, you know, when you were treating me like scum that didn't deserve to live," she taunted.
Kitty took a ready stance, staring at the Lugia.

Lizzie was surprised to see that Fifi had lived up to her promise and switched to the other side. For a moment, words failed her, but she found what she wanted to say as Psywater took on a battling stance.
"What, you want me to stand down now? When you've made your choice? Even if you weren't a bad person before, you're a bad person now!"
Psywater glanced down at Kitty, wondering how to best attack the small feline Pokemon. He decided to go with a psychic attack, using telekinesis to throw the Meowth farther away.

"Oh, I would never expect you to back down. Not when you are the sort of person who would stand by while their friend threatened to kill an innocent girl who was already injured and tied up. But hey, good job, you made a self-fulfilling prophecy!" She said brightly.
Kitty twisted in mid-air, landing safely and retaliating with a bolt of Thunder.

"She was never serious about killing. Did you think that we'll be as cruel as your new friends?" Lizzie snarled. "Do you honestly think that being with Team Rocket will be any better? That masked man stabbed you for Arceus's sake!"
Startled by the high voltage output from the little Kitty, Psywater growled and flew over to her at high speed to ram her with his tail.

"Sure she didn't mean it. Tell me another one! As for the cut, so what? It was shallow, and I was on the other side. At least Team Rocket would kill me quickly. Your side would take pleasure in torturing me first," Fifi spat back, just as angrily.
"In case you forgot, I was on your side when you were busy with your little witch hunt. I suppose I should have just lied, confessed to being a Rocket then. After all, the only accused witches that lived were the ones who confessed. Silly me, thinking the good guys were the side to trust!"
Kitty was hit hard, but was in excellent position to counter-attack.

"And you think the Rockets won't torture you too? They value only power, and I see nothing worthwhile that you can give to them. You're just a bratty, self-centered girl that switches sides when someone's mean to them!" Lizzie's temper was out of control again, but she didn't care. This girl needed a verbal smackdown. "Team Rocket is a criminal syndicate. If you're willing to become the bad guy so easily, then you were never the innocent person that you're claiming to be."
Psywater took a split second to find Kitty, by the location of that painful retaliation, and swung at the Meowth with his tail again.

"And your hands are lily-white. Quit lying to yourself. You may not have cut me, but you sat by and let me lay there in pain you could have helped and let your friend terrify me while you did nothing but ask me if I was certain I wasn't actually a horrible person who deserved everything that had happened and more. I'm sick of hypocrites like you telling me what to be, who to be friends with, what to believe. I'm done being pushed around, and if that makes me a bad person, so be it," Fifi snarled.
Kitty was struck, and tried to bite the tail that hit her.

"I might not be the nicest person but at least I'm not going to spend the rest of my days stealing Pokemon!" Lizzie should have stopped there but her anger just kept on building up. "Who knows? Maybe you'll end up as heartless as the masked man, stabbing their own team mates just to prove a point. In that case, I'm glad that you won't be on my side any longer!"
Psywater was able to dodge the Meowth's attack and lifted a foot to stomp on his opponent.

"Keep it up. Tell yourself I switched sides because I'm really just a terrible person, that I must have been evil all along. Otherwise, you'd have to face the fact that you were so cruel you made Team Rocket seem like the better option," Fifi told Lizzie, a sneer on her lips.
Kitty nearly dodged, but got her tail caught. She whirled around, sinking her teeth into the foot trapping her tail.

"Really, what's the point of guilt-tripping me this way? Do you want to make me beat you into oblivion? Because I'm not going to! I just need to defeat your Pokemon so I can stop whatever Team Rocket is doing! I can care less about your pathetic whining at this point."
Lizzie turned her attention to the battle, and saw to her dismay that her Psywater was getting worn down from the Meowth's repeated attacks. "Hit her with your wing!" She called out. The Lugia glanced up for a brief second, then used his wing to sweep Kitty off her feet.

"Point?" Fifi shrugged. "I suppose there really isn't one, no use talking to a brick wall. Funny to hear you say you actually feel guilty, though. Who knows, maybe you'll think twice next time you turn on someone. Then again, maybe not. You seem so comfortable in your den of self-righteousness."
The Lugia's attack missed. Kitty didn't waste the chance and immediately fired another point-blank Thunder attack.
"Oh, a miss. Maybe he could hear your doubt. Well, I'm not one to kick a girl when she's down, we've got enough of those here, so ta darling, see you later," Fifi said as she saw the Lugia fall. Kitty disengaged and returned to Fifi, and the two melted into the chaos.

"A self-centered girl wouldn't know anything about me, or my Pokemon!" Lizzie shouted just as Psywater went down. She so wanted to punch her in the face, just for that comment, but her Lugia needed more attention. She swore that she was going to get that girl sometime.
