William Maddox May is your typical vampire. On top of being a vampire, he's a scoundrel and a looter. Over the centuries, which he has stopped counting, he has fancied himself an emancipator of fine wares and rare valuables throughout the world.From shiny metals, to ancient pottery, to things that seem worthless, he has it all. Or is at least trying to gather it all.Why? Because he was poor as a child, and found pick pocketing the gold from rich folk was fun and rewarding. Growing up quickly, he supported his family with the things he nabbed, until one day he pick pocketed the wrong person. A vampire, who smelt him a mile away. With a quick bite, William was left near dead. Someone found him and returned him to his family, who cared for him until he was better. But by better, we mean a vampire. With his wounds healing supernaturally, he was free to roam. His pick pocketing got better and better, his vampiric powers aiding to his already natural and honed talents. As he grew older, he decided some people didn't deserve to live. And so he took hit contracts. He killed many men for shiny things. After some time, he took over the city of Dragoslavele as the chief. He's been there ever since. When he's not looting that is.
