It was a particularly clear day up on the top of Mystral's Spear and the resident "ice prince", Loki, was already a buzz with activity. He had woken early to catch the sunrise and made himself a lovely pot of green tea to drink while he went out to catch the view. The sunlight glistened along the eternally frozen outside of his home, his ice castle, as the day went on, something Loki took pride in. However, by noon, something caused the otherwise calm boy to become alight with anxiety.
"I forgot! I forgot!" Loki cried out, dropping his tea cup onto the snowy ground. "This is terrible! My sister is visiting this evening and I haven't prepared anything! Eeeeeyaaaaaaa!" He went to race back into the castle when he tripped on his yukata, landing face first in the tea covered snow. "Darn it! Aaaarrrh!"

It honestly didn't take much to get Aure out of bed, and today, it just seemed like it was a bit earlier than before. He was told once before never to go out alone, but did the little kiddie listen? Nope. The first thing he loved to do in the morning was to sneak out of bed, giving his guardian a little squeeze, and go feel the warmth of the sun on his cheeks.
Today was just a little bit different than normal, however. Since changing his shape, Aure seemed to have become a bit more resistant to blowing away and was finally able to go around, enjoying the scenery around him, as long as he held his guardian's hand. It was an amazing and wonderful new trait, he thought! But today the winds on his island blue strong, and not far after he stepped outside, the poor Driftloon child found himself blown away, up into the sky, and down across the waters that surrounded his island!
He honestly didn't mind it too much, no, not today, for the weather was clear, and it had been some time since he had vanished to explore the skies. As he rode the wind, he found himself floating high above the icy mountains. There was something beautiful coming up before him, a shimmering castle, and before it seemed to be another pokemon, but which one exactly, he could not tell. Soon enough, the wind began to die down, and he floated closer and closer to the ground. In fact, he was coming to the ground far too quickly!!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" He screamed as he began to fall, and with a dull thud, he landed infront of the castle, a small poof of snow coming up around him.

Loki jostled upwards at the sound of Aure's screaming and leaned backwards as the other boy landed with a thud. Stunned, and ultimately frightened, the fox boy could do nothing but stare at the snow covered poke-boy before him. What was he? How did he fall and not get injured? Where in the hell did he come from?! Could this day get any nuttier?
"Oh my God!" Loki flailed, coming to the realization that the boy could be in shock and need his help. He shuffled over, his yukata ruffling up the snow all around him like a broom, and put his hands on Aure's shoulders to give him a once over. "Are you alright? Are you hurt? That was quite a fall you took there!"

He wasn't quite sure what was going on. He was cold, he knew that, but he was quite certain that he was still 'alive'. As alive as any ghost Pokemon could be, in any case. Aure let his eyes remain close for a moment, and he blindly grasped at the cold wetness below him. He had never felt such a consistency before, though surely it could only be snow. It was exciting, even though he did find himself aching a bit.
Just as suddenly as the wind that died on him before, a pair of hands gripped his shoulder, giving him a bit of a shake and looking him over. His own bright eyes opened to see someone just as bright as the snow around him, and he couldn't help but smile at him, in an almost goofy manner.
"I'm fine.. I'm fine, no worries.." He spoke softly, moving his own hands up to wrap around the other in a tight hug. "If.. If you don't mind me gripping onto you for a moment, I can explain.. I just don't want to suddenly blow away again without regaining my bearings.."

Loki blushed as he was hugged, he wasn't used to physical contact unless it was one of his siblings. He paused and continued to look Aure over with his eyes before wrapping his arms around the other boy and helping him stand.
"You're very light, no wonder you're afraid of blowing away!" He exclaimed, moving towards the entrance to the ice castle. "Let's go inside, you won't need to worry about blowing away while we're in there. Besides, you could still be injured and not realize it yet. Let me check you over, okay?"

The boy who held him was very kind, his touches were very gentle, and he seemed genuinely concerned about the Driftloon child's well being. It was so very cold outside, and without another word, he let the Pokemon before him half carry him back to the brilliant ice palace.
"Thank you.." He wasn't exactly frightened by the other, but there was something a bit unnerving about being around strangers, a certain awkwardness that most people shared when they were somewhere new. "I think I'm okay.. Just cold.. Just really really cold.. "

Loki carried Aure into his sitting room, which had a few cushions and a simple arm chair, and set him down upon the chair. The room was lit by the sunlight coming through the glass and ice walls around them and it was surprisingly warm. The fox boy took another look at Aure and smiled, folding his arms with a relieved sigh.
"Well, you don't seem to have a scratch on you, that's a relief." He said, moving into a pondering stance. "But, if you're cold, I could loan you one of my coats and fix you some tea. Would you care for that?"

The last person who had looked over him so thoroughly was probably still asleep, cozy in their bed.. But that was okay, atleast he was safe, right? He gave a soft eep as the Glaceon sat him down in a chair, looking him over to make sure he was safe. His body did give a shudder though. He was from the warmer region of the area, where it was warm most of the time.
"I didn't think I would have any.. But I really do appreciate you lookin after me. I am a bit chilly, so if you wouldn't mind, I'd very much appreciate it.." His voice was soft and almost oddly echoy, most likely from the fact that he was, indeed, a ghost. Though what wasn't quiet was his gut, as it made a loud, angry sound in protest from being so hungry, and being blown away before breakfast.
"If.. If it's not any trouble.. Could I ask maybe for a snack too..?" It felt so wrong to ask a stranger for food, but he honestly didn't know how to survive in such a cold climate..

Loki had already moved over to his closet and pulled out a puffy, faux fur trimmed coat. He handed over to Aure with a smile.
"No trouble at all, it is cold up here!" He laughed. "Or so I've been told! I'm a Glaceon, after all. Cold doesn't bother me very much!" He tilited his head at the sound of Aure's stomach and his own decided to add to the "symphony of hunger." He chuckled and nodded. "Of course! I haven't eaten either, I'll whip us up something to eat. I just need to make a pot of tea..." He moved over to the counter but paused and hustled towards to the exit again. "I'll be right back, I left the pot outside on the snow!"

"Oh.. Thank you!" The coat on his hands was soft and fluffy, it reminded him of the cushioning that his old master used to wear. But it was on his butt. He didn't know why he wore things like that on his butt when he was a baby, but it was fluffy nonetheless! He slipped it on with a smile, hugging himself as he was wrapped with warmness.
"A Glaceon.. I've never met one before.. Then again, I've only ever met a gible, a cryogonal, um... And aerodactyl, and audino.. And a Zapdos. I've never met too many others. A-and what exactly is tea?" The little pokemon wasn't used to too many things that the humans normally used. Probably more familiar with the likes of their world than others, but still, many things were strange to him!
