Appearance Description:
- Nocella is a woman of average build. She has flawless, unmarred porcelain skin. Though she has had her fair share of scars in the past, she has a Zanpakutō ability that heals her wounds and leaves her skin perfectly unblemished. Her hair is a fine and silky natural shade of light pink, with her bangs covering the right portion of her face. Accenting this, are soft olive green eyes. Perhaps her most striking feature are her lips, which are always painted a light gray. On her back is a tattoo of the zero kanji "零", signifying her status in the Zero Division. Her standard attire is a modified version of a Shihakushō. Like the Commanding Officer of the Onmitsukidō, the uniform has no material on the wearer's shoulders or back. This accommodates the use of Shunkō. Unlike a Shihakushō, Nocella's uniform has a red fringe on the edges, as well as red designs on the lower portion of her attire. The bottom is also cut short, with a rip-and-tear design as the fringe. Instead of shoes, her feet are bound with black bandages, allowing her to feel the ground beneath her feet without being entirely too restrictive. Her uniform is finished off with a long red scarf around her neck. When going incognito or wearing her Gigai, she usually wears her uniform under a layer of more modern clothes, or whatever suits her disguise. [

Personality:
- Nocella makes herself out to be the shy and meek type. However, don't be fooled by her appearance. When interacting with others, she tends to be haughty, stubborn, impulsive, extremely cynical, and hates being wrong. In heated arguments, she will argue to the last straw, and refuses to admit that she is wrong if she believes she is right. Nocella is never without a sardonic or sarcastic jab, and sometimes she has a hard time taking things seriously. Never one to back down from a challenge, she can prove to be difficult and hardheaded. Nevertheless, at any given moment, she has no problem swinging from mood to mood, and personality to personality. Whatever allows her to accomplish her goals, this coy woman can go from bitchy to seductive in a second. On her good days, which are rare, she can actually be a really nice person. Due to many betrayals in her history, Nocella trusts absolutely no one. However, though she would rather work alone, she has no qualms about working with comrades, as long as they stay out of her way. Her loyalty is undoubtedly towards the Royal Family and Royal Guard, but she will not hesitate to disobey an order if she feels that it is morally wrong. Around others, she treats most people with the utmost respect, and expects the same in return. Some things that Nocella will absolutely not tolerate, are being underestimated, rudeness, lying, and being questioned. She won't take s**t from anyone, and she'll make you sorely regret it if you do. If her charm hasn't fooled you yet, there is a whole other side to this woman when she is engaged in combat. When prompted to, Nocella can become quite sadistic. During battle, she takes an acute sense of pleasure from brutalizing and tearing apart her opponent. She lives for the heat of the moment; being showered in blood, mutilating limbs, cutting, slicing, tasting blood...practically anything you can imagine. Her sadistic tendencies border on a fine line of psychopathy and sanity. Despite this second personality, she has had years to control her murderous urges, and despite what people think, she has more control over her actions than meets the eye.

Background:
- Nocella was born to a single-parent father, with her mother dying before her birth. Her father was the emperor of Japan, and her mother was a Korean that was betrothed to him. A few weeks after her birth, her mother passed away from measles, which was quite the epidemic at the time. Even though she was very young, Nocella actually blamed the doctor's "medical treatment" as the cause of her death. Due to her mother's death, various maids and servants were hired to attend to her needs. She was brought up as a pampered princess and later became oppressed and rebellious. She had a strong dislike of her father, due to the fact that she hardly saw him and they created no familial bonds. Without a father, mother, or any siblings at her side, she began to feel alone and isolated from the world. At the time, she was only ten, and did not realize the duties that her father was bound to, making him unable to raise her on his own. However, her own childish mindset would not accept this, slowly planting the beginnings of a seed of hate that would later grow into full bloom as time passed.
Life in the imperial palace was all as it should be. Nocella learned how to act ladylike, meet certain expectations, hold her manners in court, and was expected to woo the attention of the high class males. Many of the males tried to court the beautiful red-headed princess, but all of them were flirtatiously rejected. Meanwhile, she read poetry, danced, went to court, played various instruments, and attended events on a daily basis. However, her love life was soon about to be decided for her. When she was sixteen, her father declared that it was time his daughter got married. Without even a discussion with Nocella, he offered her hand in a competition between samurai warriors. All protests turned down, Nocella saw herself as being shipped off as some kind of prize. Flaring anger stirred inside her and began her descent into insanity. Bidding her time, she watched the competition with gruesome satisfaction as the warriors slayed each other in brutal duels. These were her first visions of death in her life, that she had ever seen firsthand.
When the winner came out victorious, Nocella didn't lift a finger to stop the marriage. However, this would eventually backfire on her, through negligence. Two weeks before the wedding, Nocella was raped by her soon-to-be husband. Ashamed and humiliated, she told her father of what happened. Her father simply dismissed the act, claiming that Nocella was just making up an excuse to get out of the marriage. Absolutely furious, she vowed to exact her own revenge, if her father didn't. At the time, female warriors were extremely unladylike of women, and completely unheard of. However, Nocella had a special gift for learning. By simply watching the samurai in the palace, she could learn and copy their moves with little practice. Plenty of weapons abounded around the palace, and she had no problems getting her hands on swords and daggers to train in secret. All the while, she maintained the careful facade that she kept around her father, and became quite good at lying and sneaking around.
A few years later, Nocella made her first kill. Though it was accidental, it was what caused the snapping point in her life. A rebellion had actually broken outside the castle, where various ninja and samurai swarmed the palace to overthrown the shogun's rule. When an invader came into her room, she reflexively stabbed him in self defense. Having the advantage over him because of the unexpected situation, she made a quick and efficient kill. Nevertheless, it sent a thrill coursing through her blood, and she loved the feeling of the adrenaline it brought her. Eventually, the raid was suppressed, but many people died in the palace that night. It was during that day that Nocella found her "calling", so to speak. Walking down the hallways lined with blood and gore, it sent an elation running down her spine. Her father would later find her huddled in the blood soaked hallways, shaking of, what he presumed to be, fear. Soon after this event, she would begin her killing spree.
The day after this "traumatic" incident, Nocella was forced by her father to be locked in her room for "recovery" purposes. Not liking it, but seeing it as a perfect opportunity to have privacy for training, she grudgingly consented. However, her husband took this as an opportunity to rape her again. When he walked into her room and made a grab for her, she instinctively threw him off guard by ramming him against the wall. With a quick flick of her wrist, she slit his throat and watched him bleed out before disposing of the body down the stairs. Without the technology we have in the present day, back then, it was difficult to tell the cause of death. Besides, even if it had been a murder, a female suspect was much less likely to be accused. In the end, the palace swarmed with the news that an assassin had infiltrated the palace. The rumor actually worked in her favor, as the next to die was her father. Two days after the death of her husband, her father ordered a raid on the public, to "teach them a lesson" for rebelling against the imperial palace. This gave Nocella the perfect opportunity to spread around more "bad luck deaths" and get her revenge on her father at the same time. Without remorse, she poisoned her father's drink, and stabbed him to death that night.
Soon after her second and third kill of her husband and father, Nocella targeted the men in the palace. Like her previous kills, she only targeted men that had committed crimes. When news hit the cities and towns, an urban legend was born. Nocella became known as the Aonyōbō, the ghost of an imperial court lady that haunted the palace in search of young men. The people in the palace would claim to get a glimpse of this woman at night. How right they were, but Nocella's identity was never accurately pinpointed. She was always nothing but a shadow in the night. Despite this, the public hailed the Aonyōbō as a savior, since the deaths of so many imperials only helped the rebellion's cause against fighting the royal oppression. Still, peace managed to be withheld by the new Emperor Suizei, even with Nocella plaguing the halls of the palace. Though not a particularly tyrannical emperor, Nocella saw no reason to spot him as a target, and the killings around him continued.
Her first real slip-up happened when she attacked the imperial guards in the dead of night. On more than one occasion, the guard had harshly put citizens under their oppressive rules and protocol. This particular mission was her most difficult one yet. The guards had shifts, as well as the fact that Nocella was only aiming for certain people in the guard. She was crafty, however, and everything seemed to be going fine until she accidentally picked the wrong target. When she ambushed the guard, she shoved him over and was at the ready to kill him. In the waning light, she found that it was actually an old childhood friend at the tip of her dagger. Her brief moment of hesitation gave him the upper hand, as he rammed her against the ground. Without remorse, he called the rest of the guards and had her captured. When Nocella asked him why, his only response was that he had long suspected her of being the killer, and was only acting as her friend because of the suspicion. She was thrown into prison, where she was tortured both physically, emotionally, and sexually. After a week of torture, she managed to escape the palace on the day she was transported out of her cell for her execution.
On the day of her escape, she was twenty two when she left the imperial palace as a fugitive. By now, her hate for men had grown, and she started killing again. Moving south, she posed as a male and became an mercenary. During that time, she learned many different branches of Japanese swordplay that would flesh out her sword abilities. Hired for battles and wars, Nocella became an infamous sellsword that was known to do any job for a certain price. No longer did she only hunt men that had committed crimes. Now men, women, innocents, and even children, were her targets. Later on, the mercenary business soon bored her, and this was around the time that her killings became much more brutal and intimate. She began freelance killing sadistically on whomever she could lay her eyes on, as well as developing a thing for blood and vampirism. Degrading into the next level, she started her infamous signature of cutting out her victim's hearts and enjoying the taste of their blood. People began calling her the "Carmine Cariad", or the Scarlet Heart. Walking a thin line between sanity and psychopathy, she became one of the most prominent underground assassins in her time.
A year passed, and her potential just grew and grew. She traveled the world, assassinating many prominent people in history without leaving a single trace. Eventually, all that darkness that welled up inside her became a hollow beacon. Though an excellent killer, nothing could match the power of a supernatural frenzied hollow that had come to feed on her. With a single swipe of the hollow's claw, her entire midsection was obliterated. Upon her conversion into a soul, her soul chain began deteriorating by the seconds, instead of the slow process that would turn any ordinary soul into a hollow. By a small stroke of luck, she was saved by a Shinigami in the nick of time, who purified her and sent her to the Soul Society.
Waking up disoriented, she had lost the majority of her memories of her human life, as happened with most souls during the transition. Some semblance of her memories as a killer were still there, and her feelings had definitely not changed. Even with her purification and memory loss, she retained the bitterness that still lingered in her soul. Thinking it ironic that she was living in the afterlife, she wandered the Rukon District for some time. Not exactly pure of heart, she still found honest work and made a living for herself. Much of her insanity had ebbed away with her prior life, and she even stopped killing for a good while. Still, she had no qualms with nearly killing some bullies that tried to pick on her. Lucky for them, they were saved by a Shinigami on patrol. Coincidentally, the same one who had sent her to the Soul Society. He called himself Hawk, the Corps Commander in the Onmitsukidō and Lieutenant of the Second Division. Seeing her possible potential, he had her drafted into Shinō Academy. Evidently a wrong move, since Nocella was expelled a week later for behavioral issues. Despite this, the Shinigami that had drafted her managed to pull some strings to get her into a squad, without having to go through Shinō Academy. Her skill with weapons was already profound, and she found little difficulty in getting into the Second Division. The same behavioral management problem never managed to score her a seat, and she was later relocated to the Onmitsukidō's Patrol Corps.
During this period of her life, her ruthlessness was actually welcomed in the Onmitsukidō ranks. Having a lot of potential, she was quickly transferred into the Executive Militia, under Hawk's control. After spending many years working side-by-side, Nocella would eventually fall in love with him. Unsure of how to convey this to him because of the lingering ghosts of her past, she kept this to herself. In her mind, distance was the best protection, as she wasn't sure what this strange emotion was. Hawk noticed how withdrawn she was, and would eventually take her on an unofficial date in the Rukon's 12th District. Together, they both watched the sunset and sunrise that day, which Nocella believes that it was how her Zanpakutō originated. She would later come back to the 12th District several times with Hawk, where it was the first time she released her Zanpakutō, and also the last time she would ever see him again.
Hawk received a promotion to Commander-in-Chief after the previous one retired. Through many years of hard work and learning, Nocella would finally release her Bankai and attain the rank of Corps Commander of the Detention Unit. On the day this happened, Hawk was called away for a month-long mission to Hueco Mundo. The high rise in Arrancar was cause for alarm, as the Gotei feared the actions of Aizen would bring the entire Soul Society to war. With Central 46 out of commission and the Onmitsukidō that take direct orders from them, both the Captains and the Onmitsukidō thought it was a wise choice to send the force in for reconnaissance. Due to the severity of the situation, both Nocella and Hawk knew that the Onmitsukidō team might not make it out alive. The two shared their farewell in the 12th District, where they both had a farewell sparring match for Hawk to gauge Nocella's progress. Both were well matched, but in the end, Hawk managed to pin her to the ground. In the dying sunset, the two made a promise that he would come back safe, and they would definitely see each other again. Sealing it with a tentative kiss, they parted ways with a final goodbye.
A month passed. Due to the alternate dimensions of Hueco Mundo and Soul Society, little contact could be made with the reconnaissance team until they returned. Another month flew by, and Aizen and the Soul Society began to prepare for war. Just when it seemed all hope was lost, an alert for the opening of the Senkaimon had the Onmitsukidō and the Kidō Corps running for the gate. When the door was opened, what greeted the hopeful Shinigami was not a scene of reunion, but of chaos. It was indeed, the reconnaissance team that exited the gates. But they were all different. Visored and hollow-like. Hawk stepped from the crowd, to address the Shinigami present. He announced that they had now voluntarily joined sides with Aizen, and he had given them hollow powers. With unrelenting fury, the team sent out a full scale attack. As the Kidō Corps and Onmitsukidō mobilized, Nocella found herself neck to neck with Hawk. She asked him why, just as she had the same time with her childhood friend in her human life, when he had betrayed her and imprisoned her. Hawk only laughed, telling her that he really was in his own state of mind, and had fully consented to being in Aizen's army. The rush of memories that coursed through her came back in a vivid display. The old feeling of sadistic killing and the taste of blood began to overpower her. In an absolutely brutal battle, Nocella killed Hawk with a burning vengeance, suffering mortally fatal wounds herself. She lived by a small miracle, though this event would forever rekindle her unrelenting animosity for men.
As soon as Nocella was released from her hospitalization, she fought like a demon to achieve the rank of Commander-in-Chief. Without much competition standing in her way, she was promoted as the Corps Commander of the Executive Militia, and then into the Commander-in-Chief of the Onmitsukidō. With the support of her Onmitsukidō squad and long reprieve of time, she managed to reel in her personal demons and made quite an achievement with her sadistic tendencies. Though her issues still remain there on the fringes of her personality, she was able to control these impulses and became a natural born leader. After many years of service and hard work, she was eventually acknowledged among the Captain classes. Without remorse, she even created an elite assassination squad in the Onmitsukidō, called the Karma Contingent, to prevent stories like her's, from happening again. This ruthless division would carry out unrelenting tracking of suspected evildoers, and multiple assassinations of criminals and traitors over the years. Lead by Nocella herself, she came to be known as the "Karma Demon" to her comrades, as she would say to her kills that the personification of karma had caught up to them to pay them back for their sins. To this day, the Karma Contingent have never been known to miss an assigned target.
Later, the Captain of the Zero Division, Kenshin, would offer her a position in the Royal Guard. Well aware of her personal issues, he dismissed the past and only looked towards her current accomplishments. She would move on to take the job, leaving much of her history behind and begin to start anew under the top squad under the Soul King and Royal Family. Nocella was admitted as the Commander of the Fourth Ring, where she ironically became quite a role model for the lower seated Shinigami and Shinō Academy students. Those that were smarter, and could look beyond the surface, avoided her entirely. Her work with the Royal Guard lead her to assassinations of the higher end people that were a threat to the Soul King, as well as eliminating anyone that stood in the way of the Fourth Ring and her goals. Currently, she takes direct orders from the Commander of the Royal Guard and the Royal Family, as well as occasionally supervising the Onmitsukidō and the Second Division when not on duty.

Fighting Styles:
- Zanjutsu
Hakuda
Strength:
- Though not especially strong, Nocella draws most of her physical strength from a combination of Reiryoku and adrenaline. When in hand-to-hand combat, her attacks don't deal much damage. Due to this fact, she usually aims her attacks at pressure points, vital organs, and amps up her strength by channeling her reiatsu through her limbs. Depending on how much reiatsu she channels through her limbs, she has the ability to easily level large buildings or send people flying back a good distance. When combined with Hakuda techniques, she can deliver some severe attacks to her opponent. With a blade adding to her strength, she is lethal with killing strokes and sword techniques. Despite her small size, she has been known to overpower opponents that are twice as large as her. Though this is taxing and draining over a prolonged period of time, Nocella can amp up her power by expelling large amounts of reiatsu. The sheer amount of her reiatsu gives the illusion of her strength, as the fully unleashed pressure can completely paralyze lesser beings.
Speed:
- Being that Nocella was once in the Second Division, her speed is no less impressive. Many opponents would be hard matched for her at quickness. She has excellent reflexes and instincts, being able to act before thinking. Keeping up with high speed combat is second nature to her. Her love for running also attributes to her high dexterity and evasive skills. Quick on her feet and hard to catch, she presses her advantage to aim for vital points on her opponent's body. Additionally, Nocella can jump, flip, twist, and bend as well as any contortionist. Her flexibility with her body adds an entire slew of gymnastic moves into her arsenal. Combined with fancy footwork and impeccable timing, she moves with fluid grace and fatal strikes. Along with the basic techniques, Nocella is also able to execute all of the advanced Hohō techniques that are exclusive to Shinigami. Her Shunpo is one of the best in the Soul Society, allowing her to travel very long distances at very quick speeds. When using them in rapid succession, this causes her little to no stress, as well as allowing her to create multiple clones during battle. Advanced techniques, like Utsusemi and Senka, are flawlessly executed by her.
Intelligence:
- Quick witted and a flawless executioner, she has excellent reflexes and has lightning fast thought processes. Almost as a subconscious, her body instinctively makes moves before her mind even sends the command to her body. A quick-witted tactician, she has shown profound ability to come up with different types of scenarios and strategies for every occasion. Despite this, she has a tendency to work alone, and many of her strategies revolve around this individualism. Oftentimes, her proposed plans will disregard much of the welfare of her comrades. Nocella's adaptability is magnificently impressive. No matter the situation, she is able to switch personalities like a con artist. Whether it's seducing someone, staying calm in a desperate situation, swindling money, or extricating a confession, this is your girl. In non-combat situations, Nocella has been shown to have a rather impressive memory, able to recall quotes and poetry from her memory alone. As all members of the Onmitsukidō are, she is extremely perceptive and notices things more than others. Though she pretends to show apathy, she is extremely empathetic towards other people's situations. Intuition and studiousness allows her to read between the lines, as well as give others the impression that she can "read minds". Her own mindset, however, is rather bleak. A cynic at heart, nothing but harsh reality steeps in her mind, and she finds no deeper message in the meanings of life and the workings around her. This nearly stoops her to naivety and blindness in all things pure and good. She is a strong believer in karma, and believes that all things come back to bite you in the a**.
Stamina:
- By holding an impressive reservoir of Reiryoku in her body, her stamina is always in excellent condition. This is further boosted by her sadistic state, where she feels little pain from injuries and is hyped up on a mass of adrenaline coursing through her body. Due to the long hours and demands of her work, she can last without sleep for about one month, and even longer when in a meditative state. Nocella can also go on tracking a target for an extended period of time, using a continuous amount of Shunpo without even batting an eye. Fatigue is hardly a problem for her, and only happens when she is pushed past her limits. Several factors of her abilities also give her an advantage in stamina over other people. Her increased protection against poison and venom gives her a better immune system than most people. Due to this, she hardly ever gets sick over things like disease, malnutrition, or other bodily defects. Like all Shinigami, the age of her body is slowed significantly, giving her the energy of youth while nearly being 6,000 years old.
Durability:
- In battle, Nocella holds up extremely well in stressful situations. Her body can take up a tremendous amount of strain and punishment from physical force, due to her adaptability from strenuous situations. She can endure multiple onslaughts of attacks, and still kick back for a counterattack. Her Reiryoku also acts on her body in an ability similar to Hierro. She can block and withstand certain attacks on her skin with little to no damage. Over the years, her nerves have dulled the sensation of pain from her body, but it ironically gives her a sharper awareness of injuries that she sustains. Things like broken bones or ripped muscles hardly bother her, and she will go out of her way to continue using the limb, even if she knows it will make the wound worse and bring more excruciating pain. Nocella borders on complete apathy when it comes to her welfare, as she will dismiss a major, or even life threatening, wound as trivial. Due to this apathy, she is more than likely to refuse treatment from any medical personnel, added to the fact that her mother died from a doctor's medical attention when she was just a kid.
ADVANCED____
- Spiritual Pressure:
- Nocella has Immense Spiritual Energy, and is able to have a pristine control over her Reiryoku. She is able to fine tune it at any time, and can accurately channel it like a razor. At any given time, she can tap into her stores of Reiryoku and use it at her free will for various different moves. Strangely, her Kidō skills are only average at best. Though she is proficient, higher end Kidō skills are fairly difficult for her without incantation. Like all Onmitsukidō members, she can hide her reiatsu perfectly to make her untraceable. Additionally, her Reiryoku can expunge and magnify emotions in the area, giving a sharp sense of fear, anger, calmness, etc, to whoever is in contact. The magnitude of this ability can paralyze lesser targets with fear, or even put a lesser being to sleep with calm. Her reiatsu, on the other hand, can crush lower beings when left untamed. Nocella can also tune into, pinpoint, and track the reiatsu of other people over long distances. Even when people hide their reiatsu, very few can slip past her tracking skills.
Swordsmanship/Accuracy/Other:
- Having had extensive training in Zanjutsu, as well as other minor weapons, she has perfected her style of Reverse Grip. Though she is proficient in standard swordplay, her preferred style makes her all the more deadly. Nocella is known to be able to execute swift killing strokes, as well as aiming for certain parts of the body, such as organs, pressure points, etc. In her human life, while working as a mercenary, she learned many different sword styles, which she later developed into her own style. Among these sword techniques, Nocella learned Kenjutsu, Kendo, Iaijutsu, Battōjutsu, and Nitōjutsu. Her Reverse Grip technique is a hybrid of all five, making it an extremely versatile and flexible swordplay. Its flexibility comes from the constant grip shifting of blades. With a flick of the user's wrist, Nocella's blades can go from reverse grip to normal grip in an instant, and vice versa. This allows for a wider attacking range, as well as a broader range of different sword attacks. For example, a thrust of the blade can only be performed in a normal grip, while a thrust of the hilt can only be performed in a reverse grip. Combining these attacks results in a normal gripped thrust of the blade, with an immediate grip change of the blade to deliver a following thrust of the hilt. Nocella succeeds in using her mastery of her Reverse Grip to overwhelm the opponent with combo attacks and unpredictable strikes. Combined with her speed, she becomes a menace on the battlefield. Additionally, she also has impressive skill in Ninjutsu with daggers, poison, and various throwing weapons.
Special Training:
- Nocella was trained in the art of swordplay and assassination from an early age. A young prodigy, she has mastered many aspects of battle, including Zanjutsu, Hakuda, and Hohō. With certain ingredients, she can also create and counteract many different types of poisons, though this does not apply to Zanpakutō abilities. She is also trained in the art of acupuncture, acupressure, and has extensive knowledge of pressure points and vital organs in humans and animals alike. As a visual learner with an impressive memory, she can learn and execute movements after seeing someone do it a few times. She has also created her own style of Reverse Grip swordplay, which she has mastered to perfection.
Personal Abilities:
- Her body has a natural resistance to poison and venom, excluding Zanpakutō abilities. She also has extensive knowledge in the medical field, which includes acupuncture, acupressure, and the anatomy of humans and animals alike. One of her greatest achievements is the making of her Reverse Grip Style. A combination of Kenjutsu, Kendo, Iaijutsu, Battōjutsu, and Nitōjutsu, it employs and exploits the greatest swordplay potential of the user. Not only is the style difficult to master, but it requires an advanced proficiency to even wield effectively. As such, Nocella is ambidextrous, and has a great ability to wield multiple weapons with amazing fluidity. Users must be able to shift grips on their weapons effortlessly, as well as mastering each of the five branches of swordplay. Something as little as fumbling a grip shift could potentially throw the entire style out of whack and cost the user their life in battle. Kenjutsu and Kendo are the foundations of the style, giving it its basic swordplay and standard sword moves. Iaijutsu and Battōjutsu involve the drawing and attacking of the blade. These two branches become essential when using multiple weapons. Following up with that comes Nitōjutsu, which is the actual wielding of multiple weapons.
SPIRITUAL__TECHNIQUES____
- Kidō:
- With her finely tuned control of Reiryoku, Nocella can cast most Kidō spells. Never having really practiced with it, her higher end Kidō cannot be cast without incantation, or they will be severely weakened in power. The ones that she can cast incantationless are only the most basic of Kidō. However, she has perfected her mastery of Shunkō, as well as Kyokkō.
Specialty:
- Her favorite Kidō is Kyokkō, which she has advanced mastery in, over other Kidō spells.
Hadō:
- 1. Shō (衝, Clash)
4. Byakurai (白雷, Pale Lightning)
11. Tsuzuri Raiden (綴雷電, Bound Lightning)
12. Fushibi (伏火, Lain Fire)
31. Shakkahō (赤火砲, Red Fire Cannon)
32. Ōkasen (黄火閃, Yellow Fire Flash)
33. Sōkatsui (蒼火墜, Blue Fire, Crash Down)
54. Haien (廃炎, Abolishing Flames)

Inner World
- Zanpakutō Sealed Description:
- Black Katana - A standard katana, about 3' 5" in length. The tsuba is a rectangular shape, with flames etched on the ring of the edges. The unique part about the blade is that the color is black, and bloodstains line the edge of the sword. The scabbard is also bloodstained, and the name of the Zanpakutō is etched down the sheath.
Shikai:
- Kōkina Hiiro Hinode (高貴な緋色日の出: Royal Scarlet Sunrise)
Incantation:
- "I'll show you how the sun rose, Kōkina Hiiro Hinode!"
Appearance:
- Twin Katana - Trigger unlatches a three inch blade from the hilt. Usually tipped with a mild poison that numbs and paralyzes the victim. Most effective against small targets, while being nothing more than a minor irritant to larger targets.
Release Appearance:
Abilities:
- Aurora/Caliginosity - When entering Shikai, the user immediately goes into an Aurora state. During this state, the user is only allowed to access Sunrise Skills at full power, while Sunset Skills are halved in power when used. During each post in this state, Sunrise Skills will increase in power by 10% per post, while Sunset Skills will increase in power by 15% per post. It takes the form of an orange aura. When in Caliginosity state, the user is only allowed to access Sunset Skills at full power, while Sunrise Skills are halved in power when used. During each post in this state, Sunset Skills will increase in power by 10% per post, while Sunrise Skills will increase in power by 15% per post. It takes the form of a red aura. A state can only be switched when the user has been in the state for five user posts, and the power increase caps at 100% (10 posts). Once a state is switched, the counter of the previous state is reset.
Reiatsu Manipulation - This allows the user to control and manipulate reiatsu vectors at will. Primarily used in the form of red flames, the user can direct their own reiatsu and use it for long range attacking. This ability can only be used in a five feet range, for any reiatsu other than the user's own. More highly condensed reiatsu can only be manipulated through contact. By unleashing an equal, or higher, concentration of reiatsu, this ability can be negated.
Techniques:
- Kōkan (光環: Corona) - The user performs a quick five slash strike on the target. After the final strike, a column of fire bursts from where the strikes occurred. The column is about five feet in diameter and extends into the sky. This ability can be used in rapid succession on multiple opponents. [Sunrise Skill]
Kasei Shōshaku (苛性焼灼: Caustic Cauterization) - A healing ability that is, in short, characterized as a "******** fix-you-up" technique. By stabbing the user's blade into the wound, it causes a burning sensation that cauterizes and heals the wound from the inside out, leaving no mark of the wound afterwards. Using it on more serious wounds could possibly lead to death, since the user is making the wound worse, before making it better. More serious wounds, like stabbing into major organs and such, often lead in death before the healing even occurs. Even if by a miracle, something like the brain or heart was healed, it would still have side effects of causing some permanent and irreversible damage. When utilizing it as an offensive skill, the user can cause extreme pain to the target while seemingly creating no superficial wounds. [Sunrise Skill]
Kōkyū (光球: Photosphere) - Infusing reiatsu into the user's weapon(s), the blade begins to glow a bright neon white color. This superheats the blade and gives it an incredibly sharp cutting edge. By simply swinging the blade, it unleashes a cutting force that extends the reach of the blade by two feet of air. Additionally, when meeting with a frictional force, the superheated blade will emit a short flare of flame within three feet of the blade. On contact, the blade can cause severe burns and even melt through most material. The superheated reiatsu only lasts for two user posts. [Sunset Skill]
Hōigaku (方位角: Azimuth) - The user swings both blades in a circle around the user. From the user's feet, glowing neon white lines spread out in a ten feet radius around the user. The area in this circle, as well as anything in the sky above it, becomes uncomfortably hot and superheated. From the outside of the circle, as well as the inside, the perceptions of the opponent become heat distorted when looking at anything inside the range of this ability. For example, a direct sword slash at the opponent may appear one foot away from its actual location. Objects inside the area of the ability may appear blurry or out of place. Additionally, the increased temperature of the area is a perfect combination to be used in conjunction with Kōkyū. The heat friction in the air allows the user to swing flames out of their blade when both techniques are in effect. This technique lasts for three user posts. [Sunset Skill]
Kaiki (皆既: Totality) - One of the user's blades become white, while the other one becomes black. Depending on the positions of the blades relative to the facing of the user, the front blade will be normal, while the back blade becomes completely invisible to the eye. For example, if the white blade is more to the front of the user, the black blade will become invisible. If the black blade is more to the front of the user, the white blade will become invisible. This ability is always relative to the direction of the user. For example, if the white blade is in front of the user and the black blade was invisible, turning around would render the black blade now in front and visible, with the white blade now invisible. If held at equal distances to the front and back of the user, both blades will rapidly flicker in and out of view. Depending on which blade is in what visibility form, the visible frontal blade will generate intense heat when cutting, while the invisible rear blade will generate intense cold when cutting. This skill only lasts for three posts, and can still be used even when the user is not touching their Zanpakutō. [Sunrise/Sunset Skill]
Bankai:
- Kōkina Hiiro Yūhi (高貴な緋色夕日: Royal Scarlet Sunset)
Incantation:
- "I'll show you how the sun set, Kōkina Hiiro Yūhi!"
Appearance:
Black Twin Katana
Release Appearance:
- Same as Shikai
Abilities:
- Eventide - A state that can only be accessed once per Bankai. It takes on the form of a translucent aura. For three posts, the user enters a state in which Sunrise and Sunset Skills are both doubled in power. When the state ends, the user's Bankai is ended and reverted back into a Shikai state. Thirty user posts must elapse before going into Bankai again.
Light Manipulation - A variation of the user's Shikai ability, this further allows the user to control not only reiatsu vectors, but shafts of light. Just like reiatsu, the user is able to control light in the form of red flames. The only catch is that the light cannot be artificial, meaning that it can only be used on light from the sun or the moon. Things like light based Zanpakutō, a lightbulb, or a flashlight prove ineffective for this ability. Naturally, this ability only works on rays of light that are touching the user or the user's Zanpakutō. Various techniques can be executed with this ability, such as heating up the area around the user, or coating the user's blade in flames.
Techniques:
- Hakumei Kōsen (薄明光線: Crepuscular Rays) - The user slams their Zanpakutō into a sunlighted or moonlighted surface, converging light shafts in a circle around the Zanpakutō. The blade then emits a bright outburst of light, materializing the light shafts into lances of highly condensed reiatsu and ricocheting them off objects. Moving at lightning speed, these light spears can ricochet up to five times at the user's discretion, allowing for unpredictable and onmidirectional attacks towards an opponent. Ranges of this skill vary, but usually averages out to a damage zone of about 5 by 20 feet. Only up to ten lances can be made, and the ability is nullified if the Zanpakutō is dislodged from the surface it was stabbed in. [Sunrise Skill]
Yūgure Ōkan (夕暮れ王冠: Dusk Crown) - When using this ability, a catch of fire bursts from the tip of the user's Zanpakutō. The fire starts out as a small spark before exploding out into a large blaze, blooming out in the shape of a fairly large flower, about five feet in diameter. Once fully grown, a command by the user makes them explode once more, into a large flare. Visually, the move is similar to a solar flare. This move can be potentially lethal to an opponent, and is fatal if the initial explosion is caused internally into the opponent's body. It is an excellent area of effect ability that can target multiple enemies and create large infernos. However, only up to five flowers can be grown at a time. Damage can range from a second to fourth degree burn. Naturally, the closer you are to a flower, the more severe the burns will be. [Sunset Skill]
Kōchaku Kyūkei (降着休憩: Accretion Break) - The user raises their Zanpakutō to the sky, building up a mass of reiatsu in the area. When the energy is fully accumulated, the user concentrates it into the medium, creating a massive ball of red/orange/yellow reiatsu, similar to the sun. At this point, the user can do one of two things. The first would be launching the ball at the target, creating a large explosion and inferno on impact, about a hundred feet in radius [Sunrise Skill]. The second is supersaturating the ball with more reiatsu from its surroundings. When the move is finished overloading, it bursts on the spot like a supernova, emitting a large spherical burst of reiatsu that has been known to demolish average sized cities. The sheer force of this move doesn't even leave the user unscathed, much less the area in the range of the attack [Sunset Skill]. Coupled with an Eventide state, this move can easily prove to be cataclysmic to the entire area. At the end of this move, the impacting blast of the area glows with a sunset color. Anything coming in contact with this glow, other than those in contact with the user's Zanpakutō, is subject to radiation. Excessive exposure to the radiation will cause the victims to vomit copious amounts of blood. The radiation glow only lasts three posts.
