Helena Augusta hadn't been out of her basket for very long but the filly was already exploring the farthest reaches of her father's herd lands and once she and her siblings were a little less weary on their legs, they would go and see their mother's herd. Helena was beyond excited to see the lands in which she lived, despite this she didn't really want to go further then the edge of the herd lands. Helena was brave, but not stupid. She knew that there were dangers lurking just outside of their lands and if she stayed on this side of the line, they couldn't hurt her. Or at least they would have a harder time.
Her blue eyes scanned the border with curiosity. "Maybe one day I'll find them." Helena Augusta said, flicking her tail a bit. She wasn't to keen on leaving the herd lands but her mother told her that all rulers need to meet soquili of all sorts of nature and whether Helena became one or not, she still needed the experience. Something about making you a better person or something. Helena Augusta was more interested in taking up the "lady lessons" as her mom called them, but she still wasn't sure what she wanted to be. Her small pink shoulders shrugged as she turned herself to face a tree. She leaned her head in low, her horn pointing out more and her legs slightly bent. "Time for something less ladylike." The little filly said with a grin before she gently poked at the tree with her horn. It wouldn't be cool if she got her horn stuck.

Requies Aeterna was on the move; prowling along in the tall dry grass. The young foal wasn’t one to just sit around back with his family. No, he liked to go out on small adventures and play pranks on other soquili. He was complex not someone easy to understand and when you think you know who he is the young foal throws a curve your way to throw you off. As he continued through the grass he noticed a pink filly up ahead.
If there was something he hated it was the color pink. It was such an offending color being all bright and obnoxious. He shook his head with disgust but headed towards her anyways since he hasn’t come across any other soquili. Requies crouched low and watched in confusion as she began to stick her horn into a log and he blinked his glowing eyes wondering what in the world she was up too.
