Haemon was out as dusk, his favorite time of day, the sky reflected his own colors in many hues of orange and even some pink which he didn't mind. He had been absent minded wandering once again talking to his one companion...his scarf. It was more then a security blanket, but he actually saw it as being alive. It was part of his coping mechanism to survive as long as he has on his own. He was in an area where he could see the sky fairly well through the branches and almost sighed at the beauty of the sky in its hues of orange, red, and pink.
He loved watching the sky turn red as it was his favorite color, why he felt such a connection to the color he didn't know but neither did he care. He continued to move along the trees as there was still plenty of light hitting the trees and making its way through. It was then he noticed he was close to the base of the mountain, his least fav. place to be, it was uneven and Haemon had proven to be rather clumsy and tries to stay away from the mountain. He was starting to turn around and get further from the towering earth, but then he saw something through the trees. It almost blended into the trees, but he couldn't tell what it was. His 'scarfs' curiosity egged him closer and finally he saw that it was one like him sorta. "What kind of candy do you think it is, it looks different....should I approach Reese?", he asked referring to the scarf. Where he had gotten the name Reese from he knew not, but that was it's name.
He nodded his head as 'Reese' blew in the wind apparently taking the motion as 'yes'. He finally moved to the edge of the tree line and could see the candy was indeed one like him....soquili they called themselves. This one was different having weird things all over it. To Haemon he found the strange soq intriguing and became fascinated as he had never seen one like it, most were what others referred to as 'normal', but why couldn't this one be called so call normal...Who depicted what was normal in this world anyways.
He let his thoughts wander until his scarf/Reese 'slapped him in the face' as if to purposely to snap him out of it and talk to it., "Hello....what kind of candy are you?", he asked as serious as could be as he stepped closer to the one in front of him. Normal or not, he felt drawn to them somehow and was even more intrigued waiting to hear what they would say.

Acrimony had gone for a walk that evening, needing some space from the caverns where her parents and sisters lived. The sun was just going down by the way the light sparkled across her extrasensory sight. Good. She liked the dark better anyway. Easier to see with her sight when it was night out and not many Soqs were about to ask her questions or look at her strangely.
She drew up short at the voice calling to her, though. Candy? She began casting about, trying to pick up the voice's owner with her sight. "Who... where are you?"

Haemon looked at himself and went in a circle trying to inspect himself(look much like a dog trying to chase its tail almost) as if he needed to check that he was still there. He then smiled and walked a little closer, now only being about 3ft from her. "The who is easy. Im Haemon and my friend here is Reese but he doesn't talk much, he'll lay calmly around my neck"
He spoke with sincerity all though it sounded like nonsense and he was smiling rather wide for some reason. He could see her a bit better and her coat color reminded him of a mint candy he had. He took another half step forward and then spoke again. "As for where I am...I've not a clue, I usually don't come this close to the mountain.....So what candy are you, you look like a mint candy....or wait no...the question is Who are you?', he spoke with a slight humor in his voice. He was slowly learning to ask who others where not what kind of candy.

"I am Acrimony, Daughter of Illidan, of the Stormrage herd," the mare announced proudly, her head still swaying slightly as she tried to locate the strangely speaking stallion-his name was Heamon?-with her extrasenory sight. "Don't move so much. I can't see you if you move." Which was an odd way to put it since she couldn't see him at all in the technical sense.
She stepped closer, following the voice, and finally saw an imprint of the stallion, glowing a soft yellow and orange between the muted greens of the trees around them. She could only just make out that his one had wings of some sort, closer to her father's than her own, and something dark about his neck. "Why did you come here?"

Acrimony, what an odd name for a candy but somehow it seemed to fit her. When she suddenly told him to stop moving he was confused and cocked his head as he stopped moving. "Daughter of Illidan...whats a daughter? Stormrage that sounds like a cool name!", he stated as he moved a little closer after she seemed to have gotten a better look at him now. In return he could see why she had trouble seeing him...she was blind? Eyes stitched shut....it found it interesting but not odd and didnt think twice about really
"Sorry I couldnt see you were blind...or appear to be? You can still see me though it seems....thats cool!", he continued to smile and finally settled a bit and stretched his wings and then folded them neatly back against his sides. "As to why I came here....I....dont....know, looking for candy partly, I had some hidden in a tree but I couldn't find it but I found you instead...." he was going to say soemthing else but then 'Reese' the scarf seemed to want attention after hitting him in face a light breeze rustled the trees. 'What Reese, Im talking...I think so too, why do I have to tell her.....ugh fine you chicken.' He probably looke odd to any that saw him talking to a scarf but he didnt think a thing about it as he looked back at Acrimony.
"Acrii, Reese wants me to tell you that he thinks your very pretty. Aparently he is too shy to say so himself, but I agree with him. So what are you doing out here?", he said ending with a smile.

The mare was not sure how exactly to answer all of that. "Yes, I'm blind, but I see in... other ways." She looked at the scarf, realizing the dark dark material was whom the stallion was referring to. "Tell Reese thank you, I think."
She moved away from Haemon, making her way to a pool of water. "I have not seen any such candies that you speak of." Not concerned if the stallion stayed or not, she lowered her head to drink.

See in other ways? It didn't make sense to him but it sounded cool though he was curious as to how it could be like that, but he didn't ask cause regardless it was cool! Haemon smiled and looked down at his scarf and nodded to Reese, "He says your very welcome!" He was happy she accepted the compliment from his friend as most would just walk away and call him weird or crazy or stupidly tried to tell him his friend was all in his head...they were the crazy ones but he was never one to linger on things too long.....unless it had to do with his candy.
He frowned a bit when 'Acrii' said she didn't know anything about his candy, but he just would keep looking. "Ah I see well Ill keep looking, not like the tree will pop up and grow legs and walk off and replant itself elsewhere. That would just be crazy.", he said with a laugh. "So what brings you around here?", he asked before going to take a drink as well.

Okay, so the stallion was a bit off in the head. He was likable enough, Acrimony decided. "I live near here. I was merely out for a stroll. Are you sure your tree is in this part of the forest?"

"Oh that's nice, this forest is nice. Strolls are nice too, I really dont take enough sometimes.", he looked around him survying the area. He thought this was the right area....but then again...."Hmm...the trees look familiar, but then again all trees look alike to me and umm i do recall now there was some sort of bush near the tree I stashed my candy in....so I guess this isn't the area I hid them in, oops.", he said with a small chuckle. He never liked to admit he was horrible with directions and never really knew how to get anywhere...it was really good he didnt fly despite having wings cause who knows where he'd end up.

"You must have lost caches of candy all over the Soquili lands," Acrimony said, actually giving a chuckle at the strange stallion's antics. He was growing on her. "What will you do if you are unable to find your candy?" She'd never known a horse to eat candy before, but perhaps he merely collected it?

"Yes I have tons of hiding holes for my candy, never keep it one place. Its safer to have it spread out....though it may be even more since when I put more away I cant find the hiding place and I find a new one.", he laughed as he admitted to himself and Acri. What would he do though if he couldnt find it or any of his hiding spots. He took a breath as if to say something but paused after taking a deep breath, "....you know i dont know....I never thought about ever losing it or having ate it all and things like that....Have you ever had candy before?"

"I have not. I do not think I am built for it. Sometimes I can eat flesh due to my kalona heritage, but I prefer not to." She lifted her head, regarding the stallion with her extrasensory sight. He was... handsome, she supposed. "Are you from near here, or do you travel very far to hide your candy?"

She ate flesh...that resulted in blood didnt it? He loved the color red for some reason. "Eat flesh? I like blood, or at least the color and look of it, like Reese. Kinda weird but i dont care, I dont rag on others if they like something I dont. You might like candy....there are so many kinds though. Some have nuts and others are sweet like berries, humans leave them all over the place and when I see them I....well I take it and add it to my stash....I learned my lesson about eating too much though....not fun!" Haemon like Acrimony and he really did think she was very pretty and he'd never felt comfortable around others until now. He shook his mane and glanced to his left and right thinking on her last question, "I do have lots of candy and I have hid some at quite a distance from myself on average...I cant really say if I live far from here or near. I dont really stay anywhere I guess? Im so bad with forgetting where I am and how I got there that I just camp out somewhere different near every night."

Acrimony smiled at Haemon. "Sounds like you could use a compass and a map. Or maybe a safe place to keep all your candy where you could stay close to it." She stepped a bit closer to him. "We don't often find wanderers around our territory. You're the first I've ever seen, so to speak."

Haemon smiled goofily at her compass and map comment. "Im afraid Id get lost even if I did have better of means of where I place my candy, I wouldn't know how to hold them or even read them." he said with a chuckle. "It would be helpful if I truly found a place to call 'home' and always know where all my candy is at, Ill find someplace eventually....and eventually Ill find where I put my many stashes."
He almost blushed a bit as she moved closer to him but tried to hold it in, though if he was successful or not he couldn't tell. He had a feeling Acrimony would be able to see it somehow either way. He just tried to shake it off and continue to listen to her. He shifted on his hooves a bit thinking on how no one had visited this area. "I dont run into many on my travels now that I think about it, this land is much bigger then I thought. Im still learning about it but its hard sometimes trying to push forward when Im not even sure where I came from. But Im glad that we have crossed paths."
