((Mostly for Satire but should prove to be entertaining.))
So you wondered how it all began? Well...let's go to the Yakumo household to check on our little gap youkai...
"I'M BORED!"
"Saying it over and over will not make it better, Yukari-Sama."
"But there is NOTHING to do!"
"What about that thing you have on the table across from the Kotatsu?"
"The Television? But there is never anything good on!"
"Maybe because we live in Gensokyo..."
"RAN! I got an idea!"
*Some time later...*
"What?! I am not going to do that!"
"Come on Reimu! Please?!"
"You are not going to make me take a handful of people from Gensokyo and make some kind of entertainment for you!"
"But Reimu...It's only for a short while!"
"OUT OF THE QUESTION! Now get out of here!"
"Okay...but don't come crying to me when Sanae is ranking in the money from all the people who watch the show."
"What?"
"Oh yeah...Television can make serious yen when the show is popular enough, but seeing as you do not want to make money..."
"I'll do it! That Green haired clone doesn't even deserve any money for being so busty."
"Excellent! Now step through the gap."
"Okay..."
*An hour later at the Yakumo House*
"Okay Chen, change the channel to five."
"Hm? You got it to work?"
"Oh heavens no! I just convinced Reimu and a couple others to make their own Television show."
"And by convinced, you mean shoved into the gap they did not see coming and forcing them to entertain you against your will?"
"Yep! Oh Chen! No that show. Go to channel six now."
"So...what exactly are they going to make?"
"Well at first I wanted what the humans on the outside world called 'Soap Operas'. The women seem to really enjoy it's overacting...Then there was the option of making a mystery or crime heavy series, but i thought it would not be as fun for them. Then i remembered that humans watch these weird animations of their own 'Card Games' but summoning real creatures instead. So I thought, why not just do the same with Danmaku?"
"So you are just watching them play Danmaku?"
"With a story behind it!"
"Well...I guess it would not hurt if they played with it for a bit longer..."
"That's the spirit Ran! Now, how about we plan out the second series they will play?"
"Just enjoy your show while it lasts... No telling when Reimu will come here and punish you for it."
And thus...The bored gap youkai created her television series which she called the Spell Card Card Game....A stupid title, don't you think?
Personally, I wanted to call it "Journey to Gensokyo" Or "Danmaku fighters" Or even "Bullet Hell Rumble"!
"HEY! Who gave you permission to make your own names!"
S-sorry Yukari. It will not happen again.

"Ran! More Snacks!"
"Yukari-Sama...I think you should turn that television off."
"But Ran! The villain has been shown and the story is just kicking off!"
"Fine! That is-"
"Yukari. I'm here!"
"Yuyuko! Come come! The show is getting to the best parts!"
"For the love of- you invited Yuyuko?!"
"I was bored and Yukari told me she had Television!"
"Yeah. Now make with the snacks!"
"Snacks! Snacks!"
"I am surrounded by grown women acting like schoolgirls..."
