Resilience and Resistance: All undead are startlingly resilient, even though they might look like they're ready to fall apart. The undead don't need pesky things like air or blood circulation or sleep or even a complete skeletal system to keep on going, and they have a surprisingly high resistance to pain. Their endurance and fortitude surpasses that of any other faction.

Racial Weakness:

FIRE: All undead have an instinctive fear of fire - sensible, given that they are highly flammable and burn much easier than other races. And it's not so easy to fix that kind of damage! A candle or burner may make an undead nervous; an inferno may well prompt utter mindless fear that shortcuts all logical responses. Fire bad.

Natural Ability: Heightened Senses: A Vampire can enjoy a sharper sense of sight, smell, and hearing. Very little can escape a vampire's notice, making them excellent diplomats or socialites.

Personality: A relatively young vampire, and a bit of a scholarly stick in the mud. He has a developed sense of sarcasm. Well-groomed, although he is not very wealthy. Fastidious and attentive to detail. He dreams often of travel beyond Halloween's borders, and has a love for cartography.

Job/Business: A carriage driver, one of Ardenter's (a Gluttony Demon) many employees. The carriage he uses most often is an elegant, black model, and is enchanted, moving of its own violition. Grimhold takes good care to see its protection spells are renewed, and that its inner and outer workings are in good order.

Personal History: He comes from a middle-of-the-road vampire family. His younger brother got involved with Ardenter, and owed him a significant debt. Grimhold, just out of college and without any romantic prospects, offered to take the debt in his brother's place. Unfortunately, it was a rather significant debt. Before meeting with Ardenter to serve the full terms, he found a small, sleepy demon in the waiting room who suggested that Ardenter was low on carriage drivers, and Grimhold's service there might be appreciated (and preferable to other means of settling the debt). In exchange for the information, Grimhold agreed that Barth's transportational needs would come first. Grimhold has since served both demons faithfully.

FEAR Ability: Headlights - With a piercing, hypnotic stare, the victim stays rooted to one spot.

Physical Description: Dark hair, a long thin nose, and cold grey eyes. He is tall and wirey, predisposed to earthy colors.
