Nickeline was grumpy and that meant she was going to find someone to fight with. It didn't matter where, she was not very picky in the matter. All she needed was a power signal of someone and that was a red flag for a fight. Despite what many people thought, she firmly believed that if you were powered up then you better be ready for a ******** fight. She was going to give you one, even if you weren't ready.
The result to this was very often fighting a senshi or knight who wasn't quite ready for it. In fact, she'd backed this knight into a corner. Their pathetic little "weapon" was useless and now they were crying out for someone's help but were quickly shut up by Nickeline's magic attack. Now they were silent, and sobbing for air. How delightful. She was ready to deliver a good blow to the knight when she felt another power signal from behind her and paused, turning around.

Deneb had a habit of always trying to play hero. It wasn't out of compassion or anything- though perhaps one day it just may be- Deneb simply enjoyed the limelight, terrorist label or no, and any chance she got at bettering herself in the eyes of others was always an opportunity she couldn't pass up. This was why she was out patrolling tonight, lame attacks be damned, looking for youma to defeat or civillians to save. ... A Knight wasn't exactly a civillian, but Deneb had felt the Chaos signal and tracked it down to find someone in need of rescuing, and, well, as long as she was here, she may as well. The fact that the Chaos aura she had felt was coming from Nickeline puzzeled Deneb, though. Of all the things Deneb claimed to know all about, Corrupted Senshi weren't one of them. "Back away from him now," came the warning.

As far as Nickeline was concerned a knight was practically a civilian. Weak, useless and annoying things. The only difference between knights and civilians was the fact that Nickeline didn't attack civilians. This little page in the corner was a story she'd read dozens of times, but the girl with the purple hair and strange looking outfit was a whole other story. She was kind of like a noble knight in one of those stories, coming to the rescue of someone in need.
How disgusting knights were that they were at such a level that they needed to be rescued. True as it might have been in some instances, it wasn't always but Nickeline just really hated them after the shame Camelot had put her through. How could she ever forgive the faction that shared the same title has him? Never! Never ever ever. As long as she could remember that shame, pages and squires and knights would always be on her s**t list.
What a lucky day for this one. She'd let it go until another time or another day because right now Nickeline could only see one thing: Deneb. Her fuku was a little different from the ones she was used to seeing, and her cleavage was much more apparent. She had little interest in that particularly but what could be hiding within it was quite interesting. Perhaps today would be her lucky day.
"Hold yer horses," she said, an accent definitely obscuring most of it into something that sounded probably quite different. If anything, she at least stepped away from the page. She had little interest in him now, anyways, her interest falling solely on the senshi in front of her.

Deneb wasn't a particularly patient person by far; battles were supposed to be a quick and easy thing, and the faster she could be on her way, the better. And while she didn't particularly fully decipher what Nickeline was saying, the strange senshi had backed away from the page, which was good enough for her. "Honestly," Deneb began, trying not to let it show that she was baffled by this whole situation ( why did that senshi have holes?), "There are much better things to be doing at this time of night than threatening others." Like sleep, for one, or perhaps grinding for exp in one mmropg or another... not that Deneb would say that outloud.

Blah blah blah. Sorry Deneb, Nickeline was not listening to you at all. Instead, the corrupt senshi made a burst toward the other senshi. What Deneb might have expected as an attack was actually something else entirely. Her fists were not bunched and instead she held out a single finger, simply trying to pull part of the bodice of her fuku away from her skin so she could peer down and inspect for holes.
Quality control and all.
Merurulince Seriously, feel free to smack her or attack her at this point. XD

This was officially moving from 'odd' to 'flat out bizarre'. Deneb had been prepared to fight back when Nickeline rushed at her, but this was completely different, and it took Deneb completely by surprise. Still, she came to her senses quickly enough to shove the corrupt senshi away, backing up to put some distance between herself and Nickeline; who knew what else this crazy girl would try next? "Just what in the world do you think you're doing!?" Deneb demanded, on the defense in case Nickeline tried to make another move. If she tried that again, Deneb wasn't about to hold back with the bubbles.

Nickeline had gotten a decent look because frankly with a bodice like that she really didn't need much effort to see that there wasn't a hole there. At first her emotions settled on disappointment. How could it be? She thought at first it was just the boys who lacked holes but this was clearly a girl and there wasn't anything there other than her breasts but that was normal (her mother had that talk with her a long time ago). She had hopes, you know, but everyone just seemed to want to step all over them and then get offended at her!
She scoffed at Deneb, tossing her hair over her arm so it didn't drag on the ground. Well, if she wasn't going to find any sort of satisfaction tonight then she would make her own in a different manner. She'd start by making this senshi shut up, and thankfully that was one thing she didn't have a problem with.
"Breathless," she whispered, the air slipping out of her mouth and into the air finding her target.
Merurulince With a single whisper, the air around her opponent quickly becomes stale and then just as quickly the air around them seems to be stolen away, causing them to become unable to breathe for 20 seconds. It'll just be like holding your breath, except the opponent gets absolutely no say in the matter. Unable to take a new breath for 20 seconds, this attack induces panic on the enemy.

Well, Deneb was easily offended to begin with, but when a strange senshi starts practically trying to feel you up, of course she'd be offended! The fact that it didn't seem that she was going to get any explanation for this further compounded matters. As it was, Deneb had been about to (impatiently) demand answers again when the strange senshi spoke, or rather, not exactly spoke, but whispered. Before she could get in another word edgewise, though, it felt like the air was being stolen away from her, and she found herself unable to take a breath. The feeling was brief, but unpleasant, and once it subsided and Deneb could breath again, the senshi of bubbles gave the corrupt senshi a very annoyed look. "I was hoping this could be settled quickly, because I really don't want to be here all night," she grumbled, before preparing her own attack, "Bubble Burst!" Appeal Deneb blows bubbles towards her target, causing minor damage, enough to possibly leave a mark, bruising at best. The bubbles last for about five seconds max before popping, though they also pop on contact, and can be used twice. The range is around six feet, and the bubbles can be (fairly easily) dodged.

Blah blah blah. Nickeline was so disappointed when Deneb found her breath again and spoke. Her face read that this was the worst thing ever and if Deneb was annoyed try not understanding half of what everyone said. It was hard, and it took a lot of work. Right now she didn't put any effort in, direly worried about too many other things to even bother so she had no words to counter.
Bubbles? Nickeline scoffed at them as a childish thing she played with as a child. It was a slightly fond memory of being a brat and blow them in her order sister's faces but other than that she was fine with moving right through the ones she didn't dodge to attack Deneb.
Surprise hit her when the first few popped on her, feeling pressure even under her gloved arms that took the hit. They were bubbles, but it felt a bit like something with more mass had hit her. It was confusing, and she didn't need anymore confusion than she already had. She let out a small yell, and then threw her fists at Deneb's soft little face.
Merurulince Sorry about that, I got distracted with her plot and then some real life issues popped up.
