He’d seen the guy around for a while but failed to make a whole lot of ground. His own fault really for failing to connect with the new trainee. Still he wanted to at least make sure the guy was doing okay within the moon division, he’d only seen the guy in passing after all. Hard to know how anyone was doing just passing them by in the halls.

Dis was just slightly curious as to who this new trainee was in case they might be another way to get under Marcus’s skin. But aside from the minor feeling from Dis, the vampire was silent as ever, offering not other expression of interest. Having found the guy’s name to be Matthew, Marcus had found the name easily enough. A simple text sent off, Marcus hoped the moon was up for the task of specialized training.
