The young colt didn't really spend much time at home. Once he popped out of his basket, he went exploring and that has been what he was up to each day. Right now, he was walking deep in the forest looking for his uncle. He knew he was around here from what he father was telling him the one day, but he didn't pay too much attention. He didn't really pay much attention to others around him. He liked to pay attention to only himself and others should make him feel the most important. Even though he wanted that, if he didn't receive the attention he deserved he wasn't bothered by it. He could handle it unlike some serious pompous individuals. He was sure others out there were worst then him. Snorting to clear the silence in the air, he walked a little faster down the path flicking his tail hear and there. "Geeze how far is he.." He mumbled under his breath and even though he looked like a full kalona, He didn't have much of the mannerisms of one. Yes he would get angry like everyone else, but he didn't attack things. He didn't want to make himself look bad by being some mindless brute. Good poster was his motto and there was no reason to look like a fool.
"Maybe he could teach me how to fly...or I could learn on my own." He shrugged giving a small flick of his wings. He hadn't even attempted to fly just yet. It wasn't something that was on his agenda at the moment and he would eventually get around to it. "Uncle~" He called out into the darkening forest. He wasn't scared nor was he very anxious about this meeting. He didn't know what his uncle was like, but only hoped his presence didn't annoy him.

Sterling didn’t know how he felt about being an uncle. It was true that being an uncle is better than being a parent, but still, it felt weird to him. He didn’t have to feed them, attempt to get them to shut up and sleep, deal with stupid questions, sometimes, but still they were there. And soon enough he would have to meet them and deal with the little devils that were his nephews. Oh, life help them whenever that day would come along.
A snort soon erupted from his nostrils when his ears perked at the sound of a tiny voice calling out for their uncle. Gods help his brother Dix if that guy told the little vermin where to find him. Playing babysitter was the last thing on Sterling’s to-do list for the day. Still, he couldn't let the little guy wonder around, or could he? It might be amusing for some time, but if Dominique ever found out he doubted she would be happy about it.
With a growl, Sterling followed the sound of the tiny voice to see if his gut was right. And upon seeing the foal off in the distance he did his best not to vomit his early morning breakfast. He defiantly looked like a child of Dix and Vesper.
“Brat! Get your a** over here before you wake up the entire forest. I don’t need another kalona swooping down and snatching you up like a young doe.”

Hearing the loud mouth of the other kalona made Pinkie hiss under his breath before turning his head to face the older stallion. He knew right away it was his uncle just because he looked like his father just a little more on the purple side. "Do you have to be so vulgar about it? Hasn't your brother, my father, taught you any manners?" He sneered at him before shifting a little bit so that he had good poster once again. He slowly made his way over to his leering uncle and shook his head ever so slightly. "I was looking for you. My father kind of told me to find you." He wasn't too thrilled about this honestly, but he needed to spend time with him somehow and someway. He just didn't know what they would do or talk about. This was going to be awkward if anything. "So...what are you doing or what should we do? I have a lot of time since..well I don't think my dad is going to be coming to fetch me in a long time." He shrugged flicking his wings open and looking around the area.
"Oh and can you teach me how to fly? I wanted to ask my dad, but not sure he would be up for it and well my mom can't fly, either can my brother. So..can you?" He asked lifting his head up a little more showing no emotion on his muzzle. Thought deep down he was a little giddy about the idea. Giddy? He couldn't believe he was giddy. That was definitely something he wasn't use to and probably couldn't get use to. "Oh in case you are wondering they named me...Pinkie. Prince Pinkie." He gave him a proud stare keeping his poster as well as he could to show how proud he was. Yes, he was just a tad bit full of himself, but that was who he was.
