Shehk had become a rather quick study, in some cases, to the creation of the infections that came under the skin of humans and always seemed to have such lovely and disastrous results to them. She turned the ball of fear between her hands carefully, keeping it from holding onto her for too long, before she'd bounce it back to the other one again.
Over and over and over again...
It was like rolling a ball of yarn, almost, and the pace was quick. Airy. It needed to be airy. Yes. That felt right to her. In fact, it almost looked like it was going to dissipate between her fingers entirely.
That was when she clamped both of her hands around it and held it fast, popping up to her feet. She needed to work fast.

She nearly coughed when she stepped through the portal, buildings seeming to grow in ever direction around her, up towards the sky, reaching as though towards the heavens that were obscured by the almost yellow of the air that everybody was breathing.
"They won't even notice a little extra addition..." she murmured quietly, hands still clamped around her virus as she got moving. She just needed to find a few places to get working.
Not that it wasn't so crowded she couldn't just release the kraken right there.

This area smelled horribly of almost toxic sewage, and she could see all sorts of horrid little animals flittering about disgustingly. Shehk crinkled her nose, then lifted a hand to clamp over it before swearing and clapping both her hands back together again, realizing what she'd just ********>" she swore under her breath. That was a waste.

Ducking around a gutter, Shehk paused to watch some very filthy looking individuals passing cards between each other, laughing as though they were playing a game of some sort. The pricolici frowned, tilting her head to the side before she reached out and gingerly touched one of the cards.
Probably not the wisest use, but she was going to try, anyways.

Going back to the horrid toxic water had not been her intention at all. It smelled awful to a normal nose, and to Shehk's overly sensitive nose it couldn't have smelled much better at all. In fact, it probably should have made her pass out.
Especially when she slipped and slid down into it.
Cursing ferociously, Shehk had to climb out of the sludge... and then realized she'd released the virus she carried with her in favor of getting out of awful ichor. She shuddered visibly before sighing deeply.
"Back to the drawing board."

[[UNDER 'TRY AGAIN' RULES, I ASSUME THAT MEANS WITH THE STARTING HP. OMG, SHEHK, NEW YORK SUCKS]]
Having to make a virus again was hardly something that was... well, she'd gotten a fierce look from the Protector from Conquest and had determined that someday she would have a face that mighty as well. She wasn't sure, to be honest.
But she did know that she had to do better this time, nasty air or not.
She made a point to steer clear of that sewage-infested river this time, instead heading further into the buildings to see if she could find anything interesting. What she found, was a group standing on a street corner, nursing cups of coffee and smoking awful cigarettes while talking about something involving the 'underground'.....
Shehk's ears flicked back as she breathed out a fog around the sphere in her hands, taking some of the virus with it as it filtered in with the horrid smoke they were sending into the air. They broke down into coughs soon enough.

As if the weather wasn't bad enough already, the wind was getting colder and the sky - already dark - began to pour rain down upon all of the little husslers and busslers about on the sidewalks. Shehk scowled up at the sky and ducked into a nearby park to sit underneath one of the awnings in the picnic area, sitting on a bench and staring out at the coated-up kids still bouncing about in the rain.
One had a particularly red nose and sneezed more than once. Shehk probably shouldn't have.....
But she did anyways.

If she got too hung up on the kids, she was never going to get this virus spread, now was she?
Shehk hussled out of the park quickly and back onto the streets - which were sadly more vacant looking now that the rain had come out. However, a diner on the corner was looking particularly inviting right then, and Shehk ducked inside, sighing contently at the warmth that basked her limbs.
Rubbing her palms together, she blew the last of the virus out into the diner, grinning a bit before looking back out into the rain. It had been a quiet day, for as much running-around as she was doing. Were the hunters not watching them anymore?
That seemed highly suspicious.
But once the rain let up, Shehk headed back to the portal to go back to the lair.
