Name: Amber "Ripple" Douglas Stage: Adult Stamina: 58% Intelligence: 55% Strength: 59% Speed: 46% Adaptability: 50% Luck: 59% Courage: 57% Growling, she was growling. With heavy hoof beats on the ground bellow the mare stomped her way through no where in particular. Ripple was pissed off, pissed of at everything and one she met, at herself and this stupid world! Why the hell was she here? Why was she a horse, why was everyone she met so bloody stupid and where the hell was her gift? Mostly though she may not realise she just missed her gift and the control it gave her, there was something to be sad for a female who could actually get in your head. She loved to screw with peoples minds, nothing had been a threat but her superiors before and now she was... normal and she hated it.
Stopping she threw her weight at a tree before backing off just to throw her hooves at it leaving no more than a bit of bark dislodged. She needed to hit something, hurt anything to cause damage and see something suffer or she was going to explode!

Stamina: 46 Intelligence: 46 Strength: 46 Speed: 37 Adaptability: 40 Luck: 40 Courage: 41 It was morning, and the sun had just barely cleared the horizon. Before patrols, training, and his other duties, it was Ruadh's private time. His time for himself, to complete his own personal goals, agendas, tasks, and chores. This morning was all his to spent as he pleased, and he intended to spend it doing exactly that. But first things first--he had just one chore to complete, just as in every morning. His cap was turning dry, and it was time to get it damp again. He was supposed to keep it damp all the time, but that simply wasn't practical. Instead, he opted to get it damp at least once a day, preferably in the morning so that he could start the day off right. It wasn't just a good-luck charm--it was an essential part of his well-being, like eating or drinking or sleeping. More important than any of those, even, to his thinking. Partially because it was part of his identity as a redcap. Partially because it was how he'd gotten involved in this herd in the first place. But more importantly than that, it was more fun than any of those combined.
Making his way as silently as he could through the forest around Shadow territory, Ruadh listened to the sound of other animals getting out of his way as quickly as they could. They knew his smell now. The smell of death, it was. Soon, the redcap was frustrated. Nothing came near enough that he could stalk it! He didn't have all day, and now that two hours had passed since he normally had caught and killed something, he was even beginning to panic. He didn't want to know what happened if he left his cap dry for more than a turn of the sun. It made him shake and quiver, and not just in bloodlusting frenzy.
But wait! A sound, in the woods, as of something hitting a tree. And that something was plainly flesh. At that size, it might even be a star. Belatedly, he wished he'd brought a collection of catching vessels (hollow rocks and gourds and things) he kept hidden in his den in the forest. He would want to keep as much of the blood as possible, especially considering wariness in woodland creatures today. Too late for that now, though. He made a b-line for the noise and peered out of the bushes at the stranger. A mare with great, fleshy wings. Spikes and a swinging tail like that could do damage. Best to take her off-guard. He'd risk the heavy tail and attack her rear. With that, as silently as he could, he lunged at her out of the bush.((Oo, a challenge! Ruadh and Saltic's stats are lower than hers. I'm thinking a roll against strength or speed to hit, a roll against speed or luck to dodge? And I can think of some more elaborate stuff with some of these stats xP Not sure if I should roll for initiative?))

((Edited the last post; rolling in this post.
First is a roll against speed, second is a roll against strength. If he gets both, he succeeded in leaping quickly. Just speed, he missed her; just strength he's now out of the bush and he just made a lot of noise. If he does neither, he's caught in the bush. Oops.
Edit: Klutz. xDDD ))

All the stupid horses she'd met she'd held back, keeping her tempter just barely in check as her tongue did the lashing. Not today, today she was done, she wasn't a nice female and never had claimed to be. Ripple enjoyed being a nasty piece of work, she liked to see others suffer and the exhilarating thrill it was too know she had the power to do it. Gift of not she was hurting something today and as those thoughts swirled in her mind her attention snapped to the bush that had just made an awful lot of noise.
Just like her attention her mentality snapped, charging over she readied her tail and swung it full force of the bush, she didn't care if it was a squirrel or another bloody horse she wanted to see something in pain!
(1 roll, against strength to see if her tail hit him? If miss, lack of co-ordination with a horse forms causes tail to miss him or/and the bush?
Edit: That'd be a miss. xD)

((Whyyyyyyyyyyy do we have no dexterity stat.))
Movement on both their parts at juuuuuust the wrong second resulted in both of them missing. The mare startled him by charging straight at him, but her flailing tail had missed him entirely--as had his leap, which was foiled by being caught in the branches. Ruadh wasn't just going to let that lie, though. The mare was facing him. Quick, problems! Teeth (probably sharp), wings (heavy, can be used as flails--also, clawed), hooves (also used as flails, could be sharp), spikes on shoulders (small, but could be discomforting if a hit landed on them). Well, what could he do?
Well, what he could do was to to mount a surprise attack. Probably wouldn't work, but he could try. With that, he decided to turn around and kick her in the chest using his powerful hind legs.
((Roll against luck--good luck with that, boyo!
Also, should we update them every month with their new stats?))

Oh so it was another stupid horse, and she was a stupid horse but a horse with what looked like more weapons on her body than it did. It was more than just a glance as she had the location she charged and went to catch the breeze enough to raise her up just a little. Enough so that she could put her entire weight into her front hooves for a good stomp on whatever part of it was still there when she crunched down.
She could hear the sound of bone snapping in her bone and if anything it was getting her excited. Turning her blind rage into pleasurable assault she was still seeing red metaphorically but the idea of landing a blow was giving her thrills.
(Hmm should we tick off a certain amount of stamina with each attack/post? As a sorta count down for them to get tired?
I think as the RP was started with these stats we should probably carry on, though if they get too many more misses sure why not. xD
So roll for strength to see if she hit? Then you can roll the speed to see if he gets away as there like a few paces away from each other. or if she doesn't hit then never mind.)

((Right, let's see if he can dodge her hit. Rolling first, then I'll edit in a response.
Oo, the stamina thing sounds good! So, what do you think, one point lost for every successful attack, three for every unsuccessful one? or maybe just one for each post?))
Ruadh wasn't fast enough. He'd always considered himself to be a competent fighter, but from the looks of it...no, he was nowhere near good enough to defeat this mare. From the looks of it, his would be the blood spilled. And it didn't help that her hooves had raked into his flank. Not only had he failed to hit her, but he'd failed to dodge, and now she'd just added insult to injury. He reared and roared with rage, spinning around to face her once again. He clawed at the air with his hooves, hoping to at least intimidate her.
HP: ??/100 (d10 damage?) Edit: 95/100 Stamina: -3 for every post that ends in a fail. Stamina started out as 46, so 46 - (3 x 3) = 37

A hit! The mare let out a loud and spiteful laugh at the pitiful other, she had no grudge against it but it was a him and another horse. Unfortunate for it and she'd bloody hit it and instead of lessening her blood fury it pumped her to carry on, to inflict more damage. Oh the power was glorious, this was brutal and raw an indulgence she hadn't really engaged in before but oh how she was enjoying it!
His flailing only added her to her amusement, like that was going to get her she was quick to shift the inch she needed to have him miss. The roar itself was what cued her first speech in his direction "Come on, you'll have to do better than that!" The last she screamed at him as she spun and aimed her spiked tail with the spade on the end at his face.
(Speed roll to see if she was quick enough to land it I guess? xD)

((Looks like she wasn't.))
Well, at least she was getting as overconfident as he'd been. Her wide swing with her tail was too wide and the redcap was able to dodge her attack. He tilted his head back, ear twitching slightly at the whistle of air as the tail failed to connect with his throat. It had been a near thing, though. And it gave him an idea--an idea that would be very, very foolish, he was sure, but Ruadh had a certain carefree attitude towards life. There were things he cared about...and things he didn't. He was beginning not to care about injury. Now that the excitement of discovery and the shock of injury had worn off, the devil-may-care joy of combat had set in, and he was ready to take a few risks in hope of paying her back for the blood now oozing down his side.
He lunged forward and snapped at her tail with his teeth, hoping to catch it.
((Roll against his luck, since that would be incredibly lucky if he caught it.))
