The powerful stallion didn't stray far from his mate now. More so than before. He refused to be more than ten paces from her, even, and constantly kept watch of any unexpected company. With his beloved pregnant, a great blessing they both had been wishing for, Zisor would take no chances in anything bad befalling his mate.
He made sure to find comfortable places for the beautiful mare to rest, and only the best food that could be found. Now, he nosed about the ground to try and find something for himself to nibble on, taking large portions of grass between his lips to tear and swiftly eat, looking up constantly to make sure Sophitia was ok. He didn't let himself graze for long, instantly taking to her side to tenderly brush his nose along her plump belly in affection, closing his eyes as he felt the gentle shifting and the extra warmth.

Sophitia shifted her weight, she had began to really despise her size, she had become somewhat clumsy and uncoordinated, but a large part of her could not stop herself from smiling. These were the drawbacks of two large and powerful Soquili bringing life into the world. Her family would be a force to be reckoned with.
Their family was growing, and the thought of their line growing and extending overjoyed Sophitia. But pregnancy made Sophitia feel helpless, constantly being pampered and cared for, but something inside of her told her that she couldn't do it alone. The feeling of being self-sufficient was one of the things she missed most.
Craning her neck, she looked over at her mate, wincing in an instant. "Ah, I can feel them moving. They are strong...Our foals are strong." The word brought a smirk to her face. She still had not processed she'd be a parent. She would never tire of being a mother, the matriarch of a line of warrior-Soquili so strong that their hoof beats would make the plains rumble like thunder, so massive that not even the largest of bears or the most intelligent of two-leggers would be able to conquer them. She closed her eyes and day dreamed of the future with her family. "I cannot wait... I want to meet them."

He admired the precious swell to his beautiful mate's stomach, more thankful than words could describe for the strength she had to carry their offspring. He knew it wasn't easy to do, and was a feat that was very commendable, and something he respected deeply. Her wince was noted, as he could feel the subtle shifts of their young within her protective embrace, knowing just how amplified it must be inside her. That pale gaze slid over to meet the sparkling blues Sophitia had, his neck turning to ever so gently press his nose to hers, before smoothing against her cheek his own, his immeasurable pride helping him to be even more ginger with the mare than usual, "they are strong because they have a strong mother.." he murmured softly, nuzzling his nose into her lovely mane. He worried about her. He had all the confidence in the world for his mate, but she was the only one who had to carry their babies, the burden was solely on her. It almost angered him that he couldn't be the one to at least hold one of their young, so she wouldn't have to be the only one doing it. But he made up for this with tending to her every second, and trying to assist in making the process as comfortable as possible.
He truly was the most lucky stallion in the lands. Sophitia was going to make for an excellent mother, and he had been hoping he could help provide new students for her to teach. She was an amazing mare, one he couldn't find himself ever growing bored of, and never annoyed of. She was perfect in every way. And now... their family would be growing, the next generation giving way. They would be magnificent... He smiled faintly, as he smoothed back some of her luscious mane, "As do I, my love.. they will be wonderful additions to our family. Our lineage joined.. "
