Scratching his head lightly, Jack had decided today was a good day to just sit on a bench outside, guitar in hand, and lay it low. He had done a lot of work recently, and hadn't truly had enough time for himself - just to chill and relax with some feline friends and do what he did best. Nothing. Well, nothing but music.
Strumming the guitar lazily, he seemed like he was in his own little world, wondering what he would do, having been reminded by the little kitsune that they were nearing their third year as a student in the school. It seemed so ominous. And he wasn't ready to grow up anyways - he never was going to - he figured. Jack was too much of a free spirit to be like that.
Sighing openly, he decided thinking about it was just going to hurt a few of his brain cells, and he was going to need them soon, wasn't he.
Sigh.

Yet another unproductive day of lurking in dark corners and poking around for information about various things left Imryn feeling rather deflated and lethargic. Her attempts to find little leaks here and there about the goings on here at the school had been falling flat lately and this just seemed to be another in a on-going string of failures. If it wasn't for the fact that her second year exams were going to be coming up soon, all this might not have bothered her as much as it was. Second years seemed to be expected to take on more responsiblity and start planning out their future for when they became Third years.
That was probably the most unappealing thought she'd had all day. If she couldn't even manage the small goals she was setting for herself now, how the Jack was she going to manage figuring out life goals and making them stick? These thoughts kept rolling around in her head while floating back towards her dorm, taking the long way AKA: where ever the heck she felt like going.
At some point Imryn pulled herself out of her thoughts enough to catch a bit of the music that was being strummed. Well this was new. Not having seen many musically inclined students, Imryn was naturally curious and floated on over to take a peek. Of course she couldn't be normal about it and instead snuck up from behind, peering down at him from above. "You play rather well... haven't heard many just sitting around playing here before."
