[PRP] So I have news for you (Buluu and Bari)

The morning had been like any other morning, the afternoon had been like any other afternoon but the evening was going to change Buluu's life forever. Yet he didn't even know it yet...

Buluu was settled on a large rock in the very middle of a rockie outcroping. He had chosen the largest rock out of the group so he could see his surroundings completely. There would be no chance that a lion or even a hyena could sneak up on him in this position. He was king of the rocks. The sun had set but there was still light to be seen by and the horizon was beautiful with yellows, oranges, purples and blues all blending together in an almost picture perfect setting.

He was as relaxed as any cheetah could be while watching the stars slowly pop up in the sky one by one as the night slowly took over. Even while he lay alone on the warm rock watching the sky he still had an eye on the ground searching for anyone passing by. Should he spot a cheetah female he had no problem leaving his rock to try and entice her to join him in his overly romantic setting. He just hoped he would be that lucky.

Bari was just beginning to regain her full strength after the ordeal; she didnt plan for what happened to happen but it just did and she couldnt stop it. However now its over and for a few weeks now she has been happy with her life; but the lesson she learned from the ordeal taught her to try and be a bit more careful although she knew she wasnt going to take her own advice. She was still a young a lustful cheetah who wanted to experience all of life's fruits and she would do so regardless of where they would take her.

Having those cubs wasnt a mistake but she reflects upon it as it just wasnt what she had in her plan at the moment. Ya, she felt horrible for leaving them but she gave them to a lioness who has had cubs and who will take care of them, something she just wasnt ready to do. Bari wasnt ready to be a mom, she was enjoying her travels in the rogue lands and yes she would visit them but not much.

Bari didnt like to think about them too much it just reminded her deep down that she was a slightly horrible cheetah to abandon her cubs like that. The cheetah paused thinking to herself, Why am i thinking about them? She pondered. Until a breeze blew a familiar scent her way she didnt catch it before but her nose sure did thats why she must have been thinking about her cubs it was their scent; well it was his scent. She began to follow on a whim, she figured why not besides she was curious to see what dear ol' dad could be up to.

Buluu soon got his wish for companionship. The silhouette of a cheetah came into view and was heading his direction. He could tell little about the cheetah but his thoughts were optimistic on it being a female he could woo. He was impatient however and instead of waiting for her to come to him he decided to meet her half way. There was less chance of her managing to get away from him if he was proactive after all.

He stood up and yawned while giving a nice stretch before jumping off the rock and hoping along the smaller ones till her reached the ground. The darkness was beginning to creep in now. He didn't want to risk the chance of losing the approaching female in the darkness so Buluu took off in a quick trot. He would reach her much quicker that way.

Bari saw a cheetah come her way it was safe to assume it was probably him, she had a smile on her face mainly because this reminded her of when they first met, although she wasnt sure weather it was something she should be smiling about. However he didnt know and he should know that he had cubs; she would never be telling him if this chance didnt come up. It wasnt often she caught scent of old 'friends'.

"Hello old friend." Bari said unsure of what to say even though they were a tad bit more then friend and he was more then just a male cheetah he was now a father but how would she go about telling him? Would she just drop it into conversation like have have you been you have cubs." Or just tell him up front she didnt even know how he would react he might not even care. He was a male version of her he probably wasnt ready to be a father. But she had to tell him now other wise coming this way to see him was all pointless.

As she approached him she didnt want this to be another 'friendly' visit, she was here to give him news not to fool around. "Before you say anything i must tell you something you should know...." Bari took a deep breathe in.... "You have 6 cubs."

Buluu was surprised the moment he recognized Bari walking toward him. He couldn't help but grin at his old lover. Well more like a one night stand. He had hit it and quit it and hadn't seen her since until now. She apparently couldn't get enough of him and was coming back for more.

"Hey Baby." He replied to her greeting with a wink. His ideas of getting a second taste were soon tossed out after his greeting. She didn't even give him a chance to say another word before she dropped her bomb on him.

Buluu just stood staring at her with a dumbfounded expression on his face. Had she said cubs?! He didn't want to believe what he was hearing at all. He couldn't be a dad. He was just getting his mojo going and being a dad wasn't in his equation. "I'm sorry. Did you say six cubs or I'm getting sexy rubs?"

Bari was all about games and having fun but this wasnt the time for his jokes. Her smile faded and she had a storic and stern expression on her face. It was the only way she knew he would accept her information as fact and truth and not some joke she was playing on him.

"You have 6 cubs, you know babies, 6 of them, from our one night of 'sexy rubs'." She said making a joke, mocking him; however it didnt come out as a joke because she wasnt in a playful mood. Bari didnt want a repeat and she wasnt in the mood for his jokes. "There are 4 boys and 2 girls." She said looking at him to see how he was processing the new information. She wouldnt normally have liked to break the news like this but it did the job. He needed to know and now he did.

Buluu's grin slowly faded away as Bari's expression became stoic. It finally sank in that she was serious. His eyes widened in shock and his jaw dropped and for several moments he just stared at her. He was a father to six little babies. He'd pondered what he would do if he ever became a father but this isn't how he had imagined it happening. He had imagined the love of his life coming to him and telling him the happy news the moment she found out and being there when they came into the world. He had not envisioned finding out that a one night stand he'd had with a female he barely knew had resulted in children that belonged to him. But it seemed this was how it was going to happen and he was going to have to live with the consequences.

When he finally was able to compose himself enough to speak he only had questions. "Where are they?" He asked a little shakily and before he even got the answer for the first question another came out. "Can I see them?"
