The chill was divine~ so crisp, and smooth, holding a cologne of it own that stood out from the normal air. So refreshing. Verusha had been spending as much time outside as possible, taking Cannon hunting, to play fetch, or venturing out to the Maul. As it seemed, not many other students were enjoying the cold as much as her... except for Frost, with good reason of course, and a few others she'd managed to encounter.
Today, she decided to just take a nice casual stroll around campus. Sure her homework wasn't near being completed, but hey... she didn't feel like doing it. There was always later! ...or not at all! She wore the same outfit she often did, short shorts, and knee high converse. Additionally she wore one of her thick hoodies, all black with skulls designed intricately about. Her hood was up, shielding the side of her face, making the serenity of the quiet winter even more silent. At her side Cannon walked calmly, glowing eyes diligent as they scanned their surroundings, glaring at any students that looked at the ghoul for too long, or even made a motion to come near her. His flames licked off of his body fluidly, keeping low for the time being.

It's been a few days since he's talked with Shun. And a few weeks since he's last participated in an eventful class. Things were beginning to get a little too boring for this Quetzalcoatl, and then snow really wasn't helping him any. At every other moment he had to brush the snow off of him, because it began forming a small pile either on his head or shoulders. Even on his tail, it was beginning to get annoying. In fact, his outfit doesn't actually help much. It consists of his normal attire and nothing more except so slippers on his feet to stop them from freezing and falling off completely. Even though he has no feet in his other form, he is sure that he needs them in this one to actually travel.
This annoyance causes Zephyros' biting habit to go loose. He pulls a minipet out from behind his hair to move and chew on it. Of course it doesn't hurt the minipet, but the thing does squirm and try to get out of his reach.
After a few more nibbles to the minipet, he finally lets the poor critter go, and it scuttles into the snow and wiggles off the feeling of slobber and bites that Zephyros left on him.His bright blue eyes watches this, and he sighs in response. "You're too... soft. I shouldn't bite you.. but I love it."[ his voice is a soft his when he says this, and the mini pet nearly sob, but doesn't run away. Instead it shuffles up Zephyros' arm and proceeds to hide in the Aztec boy's hair.
With a few steps forward he notices a familiar reaper. One he's seen a few times already since he's first arrived on the campus. He ponders on whether or not he should approach her... Though her dog is there, maybe he shouldn't. He just walks quietly and wonders when they will notice his presence. Though it shouldn't be too hard with his constant shuffling of feet and pushing of snow off his peerson

During her leisurely walk, she easily spots the boil, staring at him a moment, blinking too. Huh.. he looked sorta familiar... A grin appeared on her features, and she turned to take a closer look. Cannon was already staring the boil down, eyes narrowed, but not by much. From their first encounter the boil seemed to be alright... not like most who were far too bold for the firedogs tastes. Flirting with the reaper... being far too friendly with her in a way that was almost suggestive. No, for now, this one seemed tolerable.
"Hey there~" Verusha called out, unpocketing a hand to wave to her fellow student in greeting, sauntering right on up to him, hand returning to the warmth of her deep pockets, "I haven't seen you in awhile. Ze... something, right?" she asked with a mild cant of her head. She knew it was something awesome... but without meeting him more than once, it was a little hard to remember.

Once she spots him, he stops walking and is hesitant on to appraoch the two, he's very grateful that She did instead, and that the hound doesn't seem to be in a foul mood. He remembers their last encounter, however he couldn't recall her name much. "Oh.. yes, do not worry.. Zephyros. It is Zephyros." His teeth begins nibbling his lip from frustation. He was wondering why he didn't remember the ghoul's name. It's frustrating him quite a bit.
"Your name.. and your flame's. What is it again? Sorry, I don't remember in my mind. In fact he couldn't remember the other reaper's name either, the one that he was partnered up with on the field trip. How strange. But he shakes off the feeling and stares down at the pooch. "Are you two not cold in this weather? The snow... piles and piles on my self." musicaloner7 I didn't get pinged for the last quote you did :c

Ah that was it, Zephyros. "Yep, I knew it was something cool." she smirked, giving a nod of her head in acknowledgement. She filed away that unique name securely, repeating it a few times in her head to make sure it stuck. "Mind if I call you Zeph?" of course she didn't want him thinking she was trying to belittle his name, but nicknames tended to form with her regardless.
When the question was returned back, she smiled more, in fact a bit relieved to know she wasn't the only one who'd forgotten. "This is Cannon." she gave a pat to the dog's head, who in turn closed his glowing eyes for that small portion of time, "And I'm Verusha. But you're free to call me V, if it's easier to remember." she paused, and tipped her head a little in a mused fashion, "Or you can come up with a nickname of your own for me." she was always open to them for herself.
Cannon blinked sharply, and only very rarely as he stared back up at the boil, more calm around him than most. "Mmm.. a little. But I think it feels nice. Don't like it so much?" she asked the other student, taking note of his attire.. maybe he wasn't dressed for the part.

His hand moves to rub the more bare of the two arms. Wiping the frozn water that has begun to pile on him already. Just from being slightly stationary causes a small grouping of snow to cluster on his head. Although he can't feel this yet-- It's just there. Sitting on his head. Gathering more as the snow falls. And also on his tail, it nearly covers half of it, except the tail constantly twitches to rid of the annoyance.
"Cool.. " With a slow blink, he nods his head once at the nickname, not sure what to make of it. "I .. will call you Verusha.. and Cannon, I am not too well with nicknames to make in this language. " With a slight cough he glances back down at the hound and the hurriedly wipes the snow that has begun to form on his shoulders.
"It is not something for me to enjoy, as cold blood. I am not cold, however it becomes terrible when it falls on me. In fact I get the overwhelming desire to hug trees when I stay out too long. " For the past few days he has ended up sitting outside for hours hugging one tree. It's become a habit now.. His eyes glance about for that tree, just to make a note of it for later. Just in case the urge overwhelms him. After all it's better to hug trees than other students without warning, right? musicaloner7 Sorry for the late reply, I was sick with a stomach virus.

"Fair enough." she replied, grin remaining in tact. But there was something about his response that had her curious now... "Do you have a native tongue then, as well?" it wasn't often you met a fellow peer who naturally spoke another language than was the norm here. She herself was fluent in two! "Mind if I hear some, then?" she asked, grin spreading just a little bit more in hopes of earning a 'yes' easier that way.
Idly, the reaper's eyes had started to wander to the various area's that the snow had collected on the poor boil, smirking at the lively twitching tail. She herself didn't seem bothered at all by the collecting snow on her person, her black hoody now mostly white. And Cannon, well... being a fire hound had it's pluses in such cases. The snow instantly melted once it got in a certain radiance around him, before even touching his skin... leaving the pooch unstirred by the weather. "Cold blooded, huh?" Verusha's eyes perused Zeph a little, curiously. Was the guy a reptile then? and the hugging tree comment had her giggling softly, "I'd think you'd want to avoid tree's even more, since well.. they've got all that snow clinging onto their branches." her head tipped towards one in gesture. "You can keep close to Cannon, if you'd like. Maybe we should get you inside too." after all, it'd be a shame if the guy turned into a popsicle out here.
