On her way to the pool, since the lake and ocean seemed to be off limits for students at the moment, left the mermaid struggling to remember just where she was anymore. It was a bother, to constantly have to leave her dorms to go all the way around the large campus to the one swimming pool but if she wanted to get some real workout with her fin well...the pool was the only way to go.
Except when you couldn't find the pool, had a habit of getting lost and ended up in what use to be the horseman's reserves.
At least thats what she assumed it was because thats what the old sign said off in the distance in the middle of the lands.
'FORMER Suffering LAIR OF THE HORSEMAN.'
Is what the sign said. But even she knew they had moved on to better things, like a lair in a desert where they tortured humans. Stupid horseman.
"Well serves the lot of you right." She kicked a pebble at the land and then turned around. "Now how the jack do I get back to my home?"

Yuzhi was wandering around this area, simply because she didn't wish to forget. This was part of their culture now, moving on or not. It was important to remember where one came from so they could prevent the same mistakes and do better for themselves in the future.
As she walked she heard and saw the murmuring of a student and her features took on a gaze of disapproval, "Serves the lot of you right?" There was an indignant tone to her voice. That was very rude and hurtful to hear.
While Yuzhi didn't always jump when something occurred the height of ignorance this creature displayed was so insulting. Her small hands clenched into fists.

Amphi jumped at the sound of another person's voice, looking over her shoulder into what seemed like a younger conquest Horsewoman. At first she thought it was a figment, like....why would a horseman return to amityville, and especially to a lot that had once been there prison like home?
Although she regretted saying the words out loud, regardless of them being for no one's ears, she stiffened and turned fully for the conquestian to see her.
"Yes. After what was done to you and the humans and dragging us in as well, This is....that is..." Amphi fumbled, brought her hands up and down and sighed. "It was rude of me, and hurtful probably to you. Its not as if ALL the horseman are bad are they?"
She looked at the girl...
"Are you bad?"

Yuzhi puffed her cheeks out and glowered over at Amphi as she tried to explain her reasoning behind what she had said and for the small horsewoman it was pretty much all inexcusable. She didn't approve of any of what was said just then, even if it was rounded out with an apology of some sort.
She let out a harsh sigh, her cheeks going normal and unpuffed up as if she was trying to make herself seem bigger.
"If I said no then you would probably think I am lying," she said sulkily as if she was preemptively insulted by the question.

"Well I wouldn't know for sure..." Amphi gnawed at her lip, suddenly feeling really bad that she had been so cruel without really thinking about it. And excuses seemed so lame to her....All the ones she thought in her head seemed very lame.
"We could always have a test to see if you're a nice horsewoman. Test usually never lie right?" Amphi crossed her arms under her chest and studied the horseman, "Unless you are bad, and you don't want t prove your a good horseman."

Yuzhi snorted a bit at the denizen's logic. It was illogical and stupid. The whole concept of this was bordering on insanity for the horsewoman.
She rolled her eyes a little, "What test do you think will prove if I am good or not? What if I don't care if you believe me to be good or bad?"
Stubborn to the very last.
At least Yuzhi seemed willing to consider taking this test.

"Well...Uh" Amphi wasn't sure what to say, what if Yuzhi didn't care? "Because if you're good then I will apologize and then...try to be your friend? I can be a really good friend!"
That was like...a good thing right?
"it would be a test...with water! You like water?"
