There might have been an extra spring to each step the dragon took. Her lips kept twitching upward at the corners despite her visible attempts to just take a breath and regain her composure. But she was excited. She'd never been invited to tea before. While she might have been making a bigger deal of it than necessary, she was thrilled for the experience in and of itself.

It wasn't exactly common for any of her clan to deal with tea outside of books. She'd had no shame in her shock it actually existed. Say what you will about that.

Purple eyes darted around the hall as she meandered through, trying to locate the room she'd been directed towards. The idea that there was an entire club about tea... amazing, really. Shaking her head with a small chuckle, she drew up to the door to what she hoped to be the club room. Least she was relatively sure her mental map was right. Should probably draw up an actual map for personal use sometime soon.

Knocking her claws lightly against the door, she pulled her wings in close to her body and stood straight. Her tail swayed from under the short pale dress she wore with beaded chains draping around her upper arms. Dark leggings made the outfit a tad more modest, along with giving her a way to hide ink stains if necessary. Not that she could do anything that could drip from bare feet but ah well. A quick uneasy flick to the tip of her tail, a final deep breath. Nothing to do now but be polite. This meeting should... hopefully go better than her other encounter with an ice-inclined individual. Hopefully. She might swear off anything snowy, icy, or chilly otherwise.

Tea was an art, at least Frost thought as much. Relaxing, therapeutic, and is tasted divine if brewed right. To have company just made tea all that more enjoyable. After all, what was the use of having something good if you had no one to share it with? Aside from the obvious fact you could be a greedy b*****d.

At the tap of claws, Frost smiled, looking at the table one last time. A simple set up, water heater ready to go, various tea sweets laid out, and of course, the various leaves and blends ready to be chosen if they didn’t want a simple mint. Then again, he was the one that drank it habitually, even when unneeded.

Getting up and opening the door, he bowed, ears flicking back. “Agsil, come in. I hope you didn't have trouble finding the club?"

As the door opened, Agsil managed to smother some of the stupid grin and look a bit more in place. A bow of her own, lean from the waist with wings fanning out a little lower to the ground, and she felt all the more relaxed for the exchange.

"Thank you for inviting me, Frost." Her smile grew as she shook her head once straightened again. "None at all. The directions were more than adequate." No reason to voice her potential plans for drawing up a map. None what so ever.

Her curiosity was open as she peered around the room, head cocking to the side at the sight of the table and its contents. What sort of food was that? Should she have brought something? Tea was brewed from leaves before being consumed. Teapots were used. That was about all she knew. "I've never tried tea before. I assume there are various flavors..?" Sheepish smile flashed, Agsil at least wasn't too prideful to hide how unversed she was in such subjects. Presently, anyways.

Frost smiled, leaving the door open slightly. Tea club never officially closed its doors after all. “The pleasure is all mine Agsil. Enjoying tea with someone new is one of life’s purest pleasures. Not to mention I always enjoy speaking to new students, after all, my own experience coming to this school was hardly an easy transition.” Especially not when he’d come on scarentines, what with everyone seeking mates and lover and just- that punch with the elephants had been too much. New friends made or not, it was not the easiest time to arrive.

“And yes! There are many flavors. Just about any floral flavor, a few infused teas, herbs and spices- The possibilities are quite endless really. I enjoy a simple green or a soothing mint.” Motioning for her to sit he went by nearby cabinet, opening it to show off the various tins and flavors. “Since you’re never tried tea before… have you a favorite type of berry? There are a few with hints of such flavors here. Or, I can always fix you a blend.” Tag wagged slightly as he waited for her answer.
If it wasn’t clear earlier it was now.

Frost loved tea.

The sentiment at least was not lost to her. Even as she let out a small, humorless laugh as Frost mentioned when he'd first arrived at the school. "It is... very different here, from my home." An understatement. While she'd been intrigued to participate in the trip to the human world and gather FEAR, and even seeing the festivities around Halloween had been a treat in and of itself... it was a cultural blast she hadn't been fully prepared for. But, in retrospect, it was likely not the worst first experience she could have had. "I suppose that is to be expected for most who attend, though."

She took her seat carefully, mindful of her tail and wings, before folding her hands in her lap and watching with wide eyes as he began to talk about the variety of teas. The amount within the cabinet astounded her really. How had she never encountered such information before? Was there a text in her nestelder's library about this? She really had to find out at some point now. Blinking a few times, she processed his question with a twist of her lips, not fully sure of the answer herself. "Perhaps... raspberry?"

Oh his love for the stuff was perfectly clear. The dragon was simply confounded for how to respond with her minimal experience with food outside of meat. "If you've another recommendation however, I would be more than happy to try it." Glancing at the table set up once more, the cabinet with all its contents, and the boil himself, the question popped out of her mouth almost automatically. "Was this a practice you learned from your people? Or something you acquired while here?" Was that rude to ask?

Home. He missed it, but then he also hadn't much reason to go back just yet. Not until he had gotten as strong as he needed to be. Not until he'd learned all that would help his people. His task, should he become the alpha. "The school lets us have some comforts with our dorms, but yes, it's different. But then home always does have a certain feel to it. Familiarity, comfort, a sense of belonging that is rather than gained." he smiled to himself, thinking of how many things he had gained. Friends included.

At the request for raspberry, Frost pulled out two small tins. "I have one that is herbal, one is a white. One has a bit more a floral flavor, the other is mellow with hints of the fruit. I would recommend the mellow, or, the white." Ears perked at the question of where he learned about teas. Grinning he gave a nod. "Yes, my people rather enjoy tea and well-" He blushed a bit. "It's comforting. The fact tea is enjoyed here was something I knew so, it helped me... transition if you will."

Motioning to her he couldn't help but ask. "Perhaps there is something your people did that might better help you connect with the other student?"
