"Abaddon... I am not asking much of you." She complained, "You are sixteen years old. Sixteen. Quit dragging your feet. You need to start making progress with Mei. It isn't everyday that your perfect mate is right there, pre-packaged and ready for you. I hardly doubt she will even resist. I know you two have been spending time together again. You two aren't children anymore. You are a man, take what you want and don't even bother asking for forgiveness. Mei should be thankful I have so carefully selected her to be your bride. Nothing but lies and crooked wings."Yes mother." Abaddon groaned, "I don't see why you keep pushing me on Mei. I just want to have fun at this school. I will worry about all of that stuff after graduation. It's bad enough you expect me to take the classes seriously. Just drop it."
Abaddon headed towards the door. He was worried about Mei as it was. On top of that he was tired of his mother trying to make her into something she wasn't. He was sixteen, he wanted to enjoy himself and dabble in whatever he wanted without mommy dearest trying to force his hand... literally.I have the answer, spreading the cancer,

Can I get a witness? "Abaddon..." Ashtoreth warned, "You will begin courting Mei by the end of the school year. If not, I will just arrange the marriage and watch Az have an aneurysm. She is perfect for you, and I don't want to hear another complaint."
Ashtoreth glared at her son. She had carefully selected Mei because she was everything she could hope for in regards to breeding stock for her future grandchildren. That and she hoped Mei was closer to being a demon than an angel on most occasions. This lovely lady got the thickness

His stomach was in knots. It wasn't that he found Mei to be unattractive, but he wasn't one to follow direction even from someone held with such high regard in the demonic world as his mother was.
Maybe she would forget, or maybe Mei would find someone else. Yes. That had to be it. He had to see if he could find someone else that would be interested in the poster child of anti-angelic behavior. I have the answer, spreading the cancer,

Can I get a witness? Ashtoreth clenched her fists as her son left. His defiance was ingratiating. She wanted what was best for him, even if he didn't realize what was best for him just yet.
She took a deep breath before sitting down at her desk and tapping her fingers angrily as she rued the day Az realized Mei was an Angel. If she would have been left with the demons, this wouldn't even be an issue. She could have forced the marriage and called it a day... But there was no way to fix this now unless Mei suddenly decided to switch sides, and recruiting her was becoming particularly more difficult. This lovely lady got the thickness

Nothing but lies and crooked wings. Abaddon returned to his mother's office making sure to appear to be moping. He sulked as he sat down in the seat opposite Ashtoreth.

Can I get a witness? Ashtoreth stopped clawing the table upon hearing the voice of her teenage son. She looked up and perked a brow.
"Would it have anything to do with you prancing around the grounds without a shirt on?" She asked, "If I get stuck in another conversation about your hobby of public indecency I don't know if I will be able to contain my laughter. He never comes to me with any real issues. Just whining about your nudity or your parties with your loud music. And let's not forget my favorite complaint that you keep lusting after the female students like wild animal because your hormones are out of control." This lovely lady got the thickness

She was sure this was about Abaddon's grades, nudity, language or drug use. To her none of which mattered all that much as he was a demon, not a saint.
"Let me guess, he took off his shirt and some of the Angel girls screamed out in awe while your puny and inadequate male Angels filed a complaint because my son spends some time on his appearance as vanity is something our family has treasured for eons." "Ah the usual implications about my methods of parenting." Ashtoreth said as she closed the door behind Az as he entered the room.
"Now let me get this straight, you are upset that Abaddon asked your permission to be with Mei rather than him talking her into eloping or engaging in carnal bliss outside of wedlock." Ashtoreth continued, "You seem to forget how Mei came into our lives in the first place. I found her and brought her into Abaddon's life with the intention that they marry including all of the activities involved with such vows. You took her away. Can the boy help it that he is a little attached to a girl who was promised to him before you came into the picture?"
