The Staff of Moonshop --
Hey everyone! One of the many pieces of feedback we've received from you, the players, is that a lot of you aren't much sure who does what on our staff, who is on hiatus, and things like that. While sitting here and thinking about the shop as well as you players we realized we were taking a lot of things for granted! A lot of our regulars know us as people as well as staff but every day we keep drawing more and more newbies (yay!!), but they don't know us at all!
So below is going to be small blurbs of things that our staff thought was important to know about them. Some are larger than others, some are sillier than others, but they all reflect what you need to know about us to have positive interactions with the staff here at Moonshop.

NATSUBE
Besides being the fabulous owner of the shop, she is in charge of ARTS and generally saying yea or nay to something after everyone has already decided. Gets really excited about new plots that everyone else is like "wat" to.
Offline, Natsube art directs for a social games company fulltime, works on comics in her free time, and commissions in any time left, and then uses a time turner to work on freelance and personal projects.
Natsube is rumoured to be not so grump. And Canadian.

Likes: Pretty much whatever Nessy likes, I'm her art puppet. But also Homestuck, magical girl animes,animes (i seriously thought i was going to be adult and stop watching anime but nope now I'm watching Hyouka, and finished watching chuunibyou and both were really good). I like cute stuff and pretty jewelry and writing comics!
Communication Style: I am trying to stop (ab)using capslock, because it's not very professional, but i like dumb emoticons and using the return key more often than is needed I'm sorry. I get really excited a lot! Which is why I used caps.

Iris has been an art whore and breedables addict since 2003, but nowadays her main (and almost only) focus on Gaia is Moonshop! Iris is the GM that focuses on the Order side of the shop (senshi, knights, and kitties predominately), while also helping collaborate on player PMs, shop policy, any other general player/shop concerns, and stamping those quests.
Outside of Gaia, Iris works for UPS, sorting all the little packages and auditing all the international and hazardous boxes that come through our center. When not at work or online she's usually trying to wrangle or care for her little 'zoo' consisting of a dog, a bird, a horse, two outdoor cats, and eleven indoor cats. Needless to say, she's a real animal and nature lover, and was an ecology, environmental science, and evolution major with a minor in anthropology back in college.
Status: ACTIVE
The best way to contact me is: PM is my favorite way and the most reliable but you can also contact me via AIM at itnotmirisDue to my dumb computer pm is pretty much the only way to get a hold of me right now. Sorry about that!
Likes: Guardian catssss, using symbolism when coming up with characters, coming up with senshi and knight powers, plotting, being helpful when possible. I like almost everything really.
Communication Style: I'm happy to talk to anyone and everyone, but sometimes I might be a little busy to simply "shoot the s**t" (If I am though, I will definitely let you know). I will ALWAYS have time to listen to questions, problems, or concerns though. Even if you just want to vent about your life or whatever, I'm there for you! heart

KYUSEISHA NO HIKARI
With no idea what her username was supposed to mean, she mostly goes by Kyu. She is a chaos GM who enjoys answering faction questions, helping with plots, and working on character profiles. Recently graduated with a degree in psychology, she has a lot of free time and is willing to share it whenever need be. She loves roleplays and is always looking to start more.
When away from Moonshop, she enjoys her N64, fantasy novels, comics and old manga, a large movie collection, and keeping everything she owns alphabetized.

SUNSHINE ALOUETTE
Sunshine, otherwise known as Sun or Sunny, is a GM of the Order aligned. She crits our players’ lovely quests, aids in the development of player plots, works on keeping the Masterlist up-to-date, and occasionally answers player questions in thread if one of the other mods hasn’t gotten there first!
Offline, Sunny works full-time in retail (when they’re not cutting hours) organizing tacky fashion jewelry, freaking out when she has to handle the real diamonds, and otherwise trying to make the store look pretty for customers to come in and mess it all up later. She spends a lot of her time in a quiet, lonely stockroom opening boxes and plastic baggies, or scanning and stickering items. She takes great pleasure in destroying broken jewelry. She went to college and got a degree in History thinking she’d actually end up doing something with it other than teaching, but after graduating she got tired of school and couldn’t afford to go on to get her Masters, so for the time being her degree’s just kind of sadly sitting there collecting dust. Now, Sun’s life ambition is to be the crazy cat lady next door.

PMs are also always a fantastic method of communication, though I admit there has been a time or two in which a couple have been missed. v___v;; I blame Gaia.
Likes: I love talking plots, helping to get quests up to snuff, and finding references for character/outfit designs! Off of Gaia, I like me some cats, some vintage manga, some shoes, and a lot of sleep. I also have a serious thing for history—particularly Tudor England, Revolutionary France, and George Washington’s calves the War for American Independence.
Communication Style: I am usually very shy. :< Sometimes it takes me a while to grow comfortable with a conversation and stop freaking out about every little thing (“oh my god, am I bothering them??? I am, aren’t I?? Are they mad at me? Crap, what did I do?? Oh god, I’m so lame.”), even with people I’ve spoken with quite a few times before. I’ve (unfortunately?) also developed the habit of lacing my speech with an excessive amount of “like”s, “totally”s, “honestly”s, “seriously”s, “I mean”s and “I guess”s after two years of playing a character who does the same, but I try my best to cut back on that depending on the vein of the conversation. XD; I love using emoticons, perhaps to a superfluous degree, as well as hearts and exclamation points, and I am no stranger to using capslock to depict my excitement! Occasionally long-winded, I try to be succinct when it’s necessary!

I'm Kaori, Kao or even Shizu (rl nickname) and Im an Order rp mod. Im super excited and want all the good times.
I work in retail and my schedule changes from week to week, still you'll generally see my on a lot because I always have my phone with me. Someday I want to be an elementary school teacher (need to finish degree) because I adore children.

Sylent Nyte (aka Sy, SyNy, Sylent, hey you, or Steph), was a fancy Chaos Moderator. While she has stepped down from RP staff, she is now very happily a Civilian Colorist! (She still has a giant love-affair with the Dark Mirror Court)~
Outisde of Moonshop and y'know, the internet in general, Sy works full time as an RVT (essentially a registered nurse for animals) at a clinic that cares for dogs and cats exclusively. She is also currently taking an at-your-own-pace program with one of the largest make-up artistry schools in the world in order to get into Special FX in the film industry. Sy is engaged to some guy who is pretty cool and also in the film industry- hoping to one day move to California where one day they'll both make it big... Or not. >>"
She also has a bad habit of falling into deep, dark internet wells (theChive, Cracked, youtube, tumblr, etc.).

CARNELICarneli works long 60 to 80 hour weeks. Sometimes she takes a hiatus because of larger projects or irrational and irresponsible life decisions that led to terrible consequences like being stuck in another country. And she comes home to RP a lot and do art sometimes. Because of reasons. Carneli is one of the shop's staff artists with the ability to do powered and civilian customs. I am always signed on, and usually responsive even when I shouldn't be because as stated above, I am irresponsible. I am also good with PMs and quotes, but might forget to respond. Likes: Burritos. In real life, I'm a college student on the last stretch of the adventure of obtaining the mystical 'degree.'

GUINE
“Guine” is pronounced gwhin-ee, or gwen-ie depending on dialect, and will not respond to “guinea,” like the pig.
She is out of college and working in retail whilst paying off student loans, but has a BFA in Graphic Design, minor in English, and is not nearly ambitious enough to care, at the moment.
She spends her days in the mens’ side of the store (since no one else wanted the responsibility and she was shoved there) bemoaning the fact that customers can’t leave the mannequins alone, fussing over destroyed piles of clothing, and trying not to freak out over things beyond her control.
Outside of work, it’s mostly Moonshop and sleep, because she has no social life, and is once again not ambitious enough to care.
She is a staff artist and while she somehow always ends up with Order characters, she is totally willing to do anything thrown at her! Provided the appropriate amount of time is allowed. She can do powered and civilian characters as a staff artist.

Likes: I love seeing player activity and will often reward those who have been active with the chance to win alt civs. I love character development, whether it’s my own character or someone else’s. I like the occasional RPG and anime, although I tend to stick to the ones I know I like instead of venturing into new series. I enjoy vintage manga the best. I also like collecting dresses I never have the opportunity to wear, and wannabe fandom fashion, like my red vegan-leather jacket and black and silver Zelda shirt. And I like cats.
Communication Style: Shy and awkward at first, but always willing and wanting to help out or answer questions or offer opinions. There’s always a chance of some casual facetious snark thrown around, and my deadpan sarcasm really doesn’t translate well over text, but I swear I’m not mean!
