Neena inadvertantly brushed under another low-hanging branch, shivering as it dropped half-melted snow on her back. She wasn't often on the ground, well she certainly didn't often travel by hoof when she was on her own but at the moment she had no other choice. She'd had a bad landing a few days ago and had torn a muscle, leaving her unable to move one of her wings without pain and so she was resting it.

She very much hoped that it was only a temporary injury, something that would clear up after a few days rest but already she was missing the skies and was feeling slightly out of sorts from not having had her daily flight.

The mare tramped onwards, weaving around and under, and 'tween bare and occasionally leafed evergreen branches, a sudden jolt to her head causing her to pull up sharply. Her braid had gotten caught on the twisted ends of a thin branch, the hairs snagged around the wood and she rolled her eyes skyward, letting out a breath of frustration.

'Of all the..' she said, grumbling a little and tried to tug her mane free. Neena couldn't quite believe it, her mane wasn't very long and it seemed to be sheer bad luck that she'd gotten it caught. And at the moment it didn't seem to be coming free.

'C'moooon.' she wheedled, not wanting to seen attached to a tree should anyone happen to pass her by.
