This entire place was new, he'd never been to this planet though it looked like many others didn't make one shred of difference. At least it wan't that place filled to the brim with junk. This place would need some reworking, some metal structures, perhaps to remind him of home. It was his wish to see his home restored to it's former glory but that didn't mean he couldn't conquer along the way with his aerial superiority, there was nothing that could match him in the sky.
He was alone as far as he knew, and that meant there was no one to hinder him from conquest, but neither was there anyone he could claim as minions. Fine he didn't need any of those pieces of scrap-metal, he could make his own empire! But that would require he gather or create minions loyal to him alone.
"mhmm, now that I am alone..." What was it he couldn't do? he was a genius after all, the brilliant second in command(soon to be leader) of the grand Decepticon army. Always was the solara proud of his intelligence it was second to none for how could he always come up with a new scheme at every opportunity? Since his last one with Skyquake didn't go quite as he planned, Shame. He strode along the waters edge talking to himself in his rather high pitched shrieky voice muttering about this and that thinking he was alone, it was almost impossible for someone Not to overhear him.

Someone had been watching from the water. Des'tai kept her presence secret, even lowering her ears so they wouldn't be visible should he look this way. Her beads floated on the water beside her, in a way she hoped it looked like seaweed. She was the color of the ocean and thus had no reason to be noticed unless she wished it. Even her mane, wavy like the waves, blended in. Unless his eyes were really good and he noticed how the waves blinked. Before she was ready to be noticed.
The Nova couldn't be sure why she wanted this one. Yes, everyone who ventured near the ocean was a potential piece to her plot, but this one seemed special. It wasn't often she saw Stars walking around with such strange armor. Most seemed bothered by the armor on their bodies. Or maybe she was just looking at horses, the earth version of her Star cousins. Whichever, it was hard for her to tell them apart sometimes. If not for the wings, horns, and tails, she'd have no idea who was what. But thus was the perspective of one who lived in the ocean. She was used to fins. Not flesh.
This one, he was obviously not a horse. Not by the long, hairless tail, and the leathery wings on his back. In fact, he didn't seem to have an inch of hair on him anywhere. How ugly. Still...He carried the armor like he was used to it. Meaning he was used to battle, meaning he was probably good at battle. That could be useful for her. Things often did get messy.
Ducking back down with a soft plop, Des'tai swam gracefully-though no one could see, the shame-towards a small tidal pool fed by an underground river. The tunnel was a tight squeeze, and long, but it allowed her to get closer without being seen. When she wanted to be seen, she emerged up to her mid neck, flicking the wet hair from her eyes and called out, "Who is it that wanders so close to my ocean, talking to themselves? Or is it you have a small creature on your shoulder?"

What was that? he hated the feeling of being watched, some one was watching him he tensed and looked around quickly for the source of the stare, hoping it wasn't one of his 'comrades' that was the last thing he needed, he was used to having to get around many prying eyes and ears for that matter the worst being Soundwave... that one had ears everywhere and seldom far away from their 'glorious leader'.
A little his eyes narrowing at the sudden appearance of the nova, and lucky for him it wasn't anyone of importance, nor did it have wings how unfortunate. He still could never understand those who chose the land over the sky, flight was one of the superior advantages the decepticons wielded, no autobot that could fly could compare, least of all to him, he was after all the best, the fastest second only to megatron himself which was something to be corrected upon his return.
"I was not talking to myself," the solara growl-screeched angrily mostly at being caught off guard, and who was she to lay claim to the oceans of this world? she didn't seem to carry anything of importance to back up her claim to that glory but perhaps he could use her to find out more about this place, he straightened his wings and since she asked. "I am Starscream Second in command of the might Decepticon army." he looked down on the flightless nova "And you, what are you?" he mused.

The Nova mare rose further from the pool of water, stretching her forelegs out before tucking them under her body. The tip of her tail emerged from the water, waving back and forth. The transparency of the fins was evident, though not as graceful or beautiful as they were under the waves. They did not shimmer in the rays of sun that reached below the barrier between water and air. Nor wave like the graceful silk that often adorned the body of a fair princess. But it was impressive in its own right. Leaning against the shore as she was, Des'tai was nothing more than a mermaid of the ocean.
"Mm," the mare purred, blinking her eyes slowly as if the sun on her skin made her sleepy. "Jumpy, are we? You need not fear anything from me. I don't bite." She gave a slight giggle, to seem as nonthreatening as possible. Which was far from the truth, but no one else need know that. To them, she was just the pretty Nova. Her only weapon was her tongue.
At his question, she raised a white hoof to cover her heart. "What am I? What a rude question. But I shall let it slip. I am a Nova, a Star who lives underwater. Which answers your question. And before you ask, this Nova's name is Des'tai. Sir Starscream of the Decepticons."

"Now we'll see about that," he didn't trust anyone despite how 'innocent' they appeared considering his past experiences, he was a very suspicious character by nature. "Wont we?" he finished. Folding his wings against his back his chest was puffed out like a prideful bird as he looked down on the mare.
He hated how it sounded, made him sound like an accursed organic loving autobot, even worse was her tone it was too similar to what he would do in a situation similar to this one that could be taken to his advantage. What was she planning? There was no sign of any other 'cybertronians' he's yet seen and he highly doubted she'd seen anyone like him before, else she wouldn't be talking to him. Decepticon's weren't well known for their hospitality among the lesser races.
A Nova is it? he suspected there were more types, considering his own appearance as well. Her little act was going to get old fast. He began pacing in front of the mare, what to do, what to do indeed use her or cast her off, tie her up as a loose end maybe in a way that would impress even Megatron himself.
Let her keep her little act she would play right into his hooves instead of the other way around. "You've never heard of the Decepticon army?" he tested, he didn't think she had or she would have known better than to place the 'sir' before his name. He wasn't second in command of the Depticon army for nothing, no one else could hold that spot like him, no one dared.

"We shall indeed," came the sweetly seductive answer. Des'tai was not abashed by his lack of interest in her charms. She was not conceited enough to think every stallion wanted her. Beside that, she didn't much care if they all did. It was simply her nature to behave this way. Unsure why, she figured it had something to do with a certain stallion from her past. "But I promise you I do not bite." Rip and tear was more her style.
Army, was it? So that's what a Decepticon was. It answered the unspoken question. Sort of.
"I rarely leave the ocean. I should think I have not." If there were more armored Stars like him, however, she wanted to know more about it. At least one of them must be easy to entrap, right? She wondered what kind of information she could get out of him before he truly started to get annoyed with her.
"An army, was it? What does this army look like, so that I may watch for it?"
