Kettil was a boil of a few different needs. He'd wandered out of the dorms to do a bit of training on his own as Freya took a nap. Kettil was a restless sort of boil and was confident he'd be back before she awakened. There was something he neglected to think about as he left to go training.
It was something that happily reminded him as he finished training and walked back toward the dorms.
His stomach grumbled loudly in protest and suddenly he felt utterly drained to the point where he flopped to the ground, with a melodramatic flair, and started crawling along on the ground. "Food...Someone...feed...meeeee...Fooood," he said this pathetically as possible.
"Forgot..my lunch...I don't think...I can..go oonn.." This went on and on as he crawled onward as if he had no strength in his limbs.

Shun was out in the reaper gardens, enjoying his lunch. He would have eaten it inside, but he felt like being out in the little garden area... despite how cold it was. It was quiet out here. Usually. It made for good meditation or just relaxation in general.
Though quiet wasn't what it was now, as he heard a familiar voice groaning and moaning about food. There was also some movement in the corner of his good eye, but he didn't look over there.
"..."
Well it wasn't possible for one of their kind to starve to death. He said nothing yet. And instead, ate a piece of sushi he had cut up for himself in his little bento. After that, he took a sip of some nice, hot green tea.

It didn't take him long before he managed to flop over next to Shun, having seen him, and reach out to him pathetically, "Foood~," he mewled out as pathetically as possible, "pleaaassseeeeeee."
Kettil wasn't going to let up on his little act it seemed. At least he was sticking to his guns.
Such was the suffering of Shun.
And partially Kettil's suffering as well. For he was starving. Have a heart.

Oh great. Kettil had crawled over towards him begging. Shun stared at the other reaper, not looking particularly impressed at the moment.
"It isn't as if you'll starve to death," he said quietly while sipping his tea.
He at least didn't eat another piece of sushi right in front of the guy.
Yet.

Shot through the heart gut and Shun's to blame.
Kettil spasmodically twitched on the ground as he was denied food, "I could! This is a very serious and critical thing for me. I have low .. uh.."
...
...
"Low...food...intake. Needs more. Gimme." Kettil made a bit of a grabby hands gesture at Shun's box of lunch goodies.

Shun definitely was not very impressed. He stared down at Kettil a little longer, frowning. Then, he let out a sigh and though about how to go about this. He didn't like doing hand outs.
"How about this? If you want some sushi. Bring me a fresh fish and I'll prepare some for you."
If he wanted food, he was at least going to make him work a little for it.
And now he ate a piece.

Kettil stared up at Shun with pleading eyes and then Shun spoke.
...
...
...
The boil was up on his feet so fast that Shun barely had time to blink before Kettil was gone like the wind. This would allow Shun some blessed peace and quiet for a bit.

Well that didn't take long. Shun watched as Kettil blazed away in an instant. Obviously he wasn't as weak as he made himself out to be. In the meantime, the reaper was able to eat his own lunch in peace. He had no idea how long it was going to take the muut to get a fish.
Though in a way, it probably would have been faster for the guy to just buy himself a meal.
Eh. Oh well.

The promise of food fueled him on. Just the mere promise of it.
It took Kettil a good long while to get the fish. First he had to get his fishing gear and then he had to find a good (less frozen) body of water with good fish in it. Then of course was the fishing portion of the whole thing.
By the time he finished he was soaking wet and cold, because toward the end one of the bigger fish on the bunch of three that he caught gave him one hell of a fight. When he found that Shun was not waiting where Kettil had found him earlier he stomped into the dorms and started to yell at each floor. Kettil clearly didn't know where Shun lived in the dorms, but he was determined to find out.
"SHUUUUUUUUUUUN. SHUUUUUUUUUUUUUN. I HAVE FISH. FEED MEEEEEE." A deal was a deal.
Kettil made sure he got his. He made damn sure.

Since Kettil had disappeared for some time, Shun had already finished his meal and retreated back to his room by the time the guy was done finding fish. He thought that maybe he did just get himself a meal. That was, until he suddenly heard shouting from the hallways.
About fish.
And feeding.
Letting out a sigh, he placed his hand on his head for a few moments, shaking it slowly. Somewhat reluctantly, he stood up and went on towards the door to poke his head out.
"Stop yelling already," he said lowly.

"I found you!" He chimed happily when in one of the hallways there was a Shun peeking out of a door. At least he stopped shouting. Kettil trotted up and held out the string of fish, freshly caught, and still a bit wiggly.
Kettil was also dripping wet.
Dripping wet and very proud of himself. It showed in the way the Muut beamed proudly at Shun.
"Time for food." He announced.
If he had a tail it would probably be wagging ecstatically.

Sure enough. The guy had a fish. It was definitely fresh too from the way it wiggled about. Letting out a sigh, Shun motioned him to come in.
"Try not to get water all over my floor please," he murmured. Shouldn't he be freezing right about now? He also had to wonder if the guy dove into the lake or something like that. Eh. Whatever.
"You know, it probably would have been faster to buy your own food too."
Taking the fish, he went and cleared his desk so he could go ahead and prepare it. He thankfully still had some sushi rice made, so this wouldn't take too long. Fetching his kitchen knife, he chopped the creature's head off in one blow, then went on to slice up the rest of the meat.

Kettil let Shun take the fish as he wandered in. The boil was kind enough to at least take off his boots before entering the room, it was less water to let squish out upon the floor that wasn't his. If he was cold it only showed in the tiniest of ways. A shiver here, chatter there, a small tremble that went throughout him. He was still grinning as if nothing was wrong.
Clearly his mother dropped him on his head when he was young.
"Faster but not as rewarding or fun," he said simply with a small shrug. "Dad didn't teach me how to fish for nothin'. 'Sides, fishin' is real fun!"

Gathering your own food. Shun supposed he could see the merit in that.
"I can see the usefulness of it... but fun?" he raised a brow. Of course he didn't see how anything could be fun. One had to wonder if he would ever really understand the concept of that. Shrugging it off, he continued to slice up the fish neatly. Then, he grabbed a plate and scooped out some rice to place with the slabs of meat.
Setting that aside, he took some extra carrot strips he had from earlier, along with the leftover usable fish to make into a roll.
Before too long, he had finished preparing everything, then turned towards Kettil to give him the plate. He had no idea if the guy had sushi before. Well. He just kind of assumed he did. And so he said nothing of the wasabi and ginger.
"If you need soy sauce, I have some."

"It...I dunno. It can be fun but mostly it is relaxin'. If I am not rushin' to get fish for a meal I just sit there and let my mind wander an' stuff." He said simply as he now watched Shun prepare the food with rather attentive eyes.
Then the plate was handed to him, "It's that stuff. With the rice....and...and .. rice..." Kettil followed this thought with speculative silence. Then the feast began and then abruptly stopped after he first consumed the wasabi.
...
Tears streamed down his face. Lots and lots of tears.
"K...Kheeeeehhhhhh," he breathed out harshly as if to get some release from the assault on his tastebuds.
