Hel stood outside the territory of the Horsemen, her brows furrowed in the utmost concentration.
She wanted to find Gramps and tell him all about the talk she had with her ah…companion…but aside from dropping him off here that one time…she didn’t know where to find him in there. How bothersome. Hel rested her hands on her hips with a loud huff. Old ponies were troublesome! How dare he not be conveniently around when she needed him!

There was someone standing just outside the Horsemen territory - a student. Mengyao took two steps towards her, peering imperiously down at her dark head of hair.
"And what, may I ask, is one of your kind doing on our land?"

Oh…was that a horseman coming her way? Hel perked up. Well, he did look like a horsemen like from the Isle of Conquest...so it was safe to assume that this was a horseman. Awesome! Maybe he knew Salbei, and she could ask where Gramps wa—
Woah.
Wait up.
Your kind?
Oh…oh this was off to a good start. Hel immediately bristled, and her slackened posture immediately turned alert. “Actually...” She sneered, her upper lip curling up. “I am not on your kind’s land. I am outside of it.” She then took a few steps closer, and lifted a foot, and then seemed to plant it over some imaginary line. “Now, I am on your kind’s land.”

She had the audacity to -
Mengyao scowled. He folded his arms and lifted the fan, brushing the tips of the feathers against his chin as he peered down at the ghoul.
"How about you get off of my kind's land."

Hel seemed to think about it for a moment. Then she flopped back onto the ground, and then propped her head up on an arm and gave the horseman a challenging quirk of her brow. “Mmmm…” She hummed. “No.”
She grinned then. “I got business here, lady.”

He wondered whether she had some sort of hearing problem.
"Lady?!" Mengyao repeated, bristling immediately. He stepped towards the ghoul, lifting his chin, a smirk twisting his lips upwards.
"If I'm a lady, then clearly you must be a man."

As Mengyao took a step towards her, Hel immediately leapt back up to her feet. Being on the ground was being too open after all, and she took a step towards the horseman as well, snorting. “Screecheart, think a man would have a rack like this?” She jutted a thumb towards her uh…assets. “Look at you! You have no—“ Hel squinted at him.
Wait…wait…
Hel stepped even closer…well, more like right in his bubble. The fabric of her tunic brushed that of his robes, she was that close. “…Ugh.” She made a disgusted face. “You should get that looked at.” She made a careless gesture to the specks of gray on him that she could see…in addition to the golden eye. “Wait…you are a problem!” She suddenly exclaimed, and stomped her foot, glaring at him now. “You are contagious. You could…could…EXPLODE—” She threw her arms up into the air. “At any time!”

She was touching him she was touching him -
Mengyao reached out one finger, poked it against the ghoul's collarbone, and promptly pushed her back away from him.
"I am not," he said. "Contagious. Unlike yourself."

Hel’s lips pulled into a look of pure discontent as he laid a finger on her collarbone and then pushed her back. She rocked backwards, and shot a look down at her chest, as if she was checking for some form of Insanity to start spreading. “…Ack!” She suddenly exclaimed. “I better not catch the crazy!” She stomped a foot and then pointed a finger at him accusingly. “If I do, I will take out your intestines and use them as jump rope!” She then marched right back up to him. “What is with all you Conquest and having a stick up your asses, huh?” She leaned towards him again. “Oh, also, you might as well make yourself useful! Do you know where Gramps is?”

He glared at her, feeling properly insulted.
"You can't," he said. "catch the crazy. You can, however, spread stupidity, and you, my dear, seem to have that in spades. Perhaps you've associated yourself with someone who has it."
She was moving close again, and Mengyao instinctively backed up, the scowl becoming more pronounced.
"What a crude term," he said. "And I have no idea who you're talking about."

kurotomato I am so sorry. FRANCE ATE ME. “Ya. I think I caught it from you.” She sneered, and the grin she sported turned wicked as Mengyao took a step back from her. Don’t show your fear! Hel is a predator that feeds on it! She was bold enough to step right into his personal space again. “Gramps!” She repeated, as if it was obvious. “He is a super tall Horseman! Has a lot of blood stains on his scarves…dresses like the tackiest pile of laundry you have ever see--…well, I take that back, because you take the cake.” She snorted, amused. “But he looks like laundry billowing in the wind! Super skinny, white hair, as lots of shinies hanging off of him…looks lost a lot…oh, oh, and he as skeleton feet! Have you seen him?”

"You can't have, since I am neither stupid nor foolish enough to spend a great amount of time with you lot," sneered Mengyao, folding his arms together in the voluminous fabric of his sleeves. She was right in his space again, but this time he did not back down.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," he said coolly. "Though by the sounds of it, you're looking for one of the Famine or War clans, as they're tacky enough to have blood on their clothing." He wrinkled his nose just thinking about it.
"But whoever Gramps is, he has nothing to do with me, so I'll thank you kindly to get out of my way."

The horseman folded his arms, and then Hel did the same…still staying very, very close to him. She puffed out her cheeks, and then narrowed her eyes. “Hey. You can not call him tacky.” Sure, Hel just did, but that was because she was allowed to. “How about you take that stick out of your pompous a**, ya? Also, if you want to thank me kindly to get out of the way, you will get on your knees and ask.” Feeling pretty smug, Hel waited now.
