Reminder: these matches are one pokemon per person, but like a Gym battle you'll roll to see who goes first before sending out pokemon. It doesn't matter what order you post those introductory/order-rolling posts. The battlefields are a plain concrete floor, no bonuses or penalties to anyone. Remeber to use only the pokemon originally entered in the tournament, using the bonuses what were entered at the time.

In an effort to keep this round from dragging on, I will be instating a time limit: all battles must be concluded on 1 month's time. Any battles left unfinished on Feb. 8 will be ended, and person who posted last will be awarded the win.

Lenore walked into the stadium, Mephistopheles at her side. For some reason, their opponent in the last round simply hadn't shown up. Mephistopheles floated down to the arena below, and Lenore began to read a book.

Joey bounced into the stadium, amazed he had made it so far. This was so great!

"Um, go, Starlily!" Joey said, sending the Rampardos out. "Use...Crunch?" he called uncertainly.

Starlily charged forward, trying to bite the Duskull.

Mephistopheles was bitten, and he phased out of the rampardos' grip, bowing. "Greetings. My name is Mephistopheles, but you may call me Mephisto if you so choose. I shall be your opponent for this battle. Good luck."

The duskull pointed his had at the dinosaur pokemon, firing a blast of ice.
