Appearance: This pretty slip of a girl looks the picture of innocence, with blond, wavy hair and grey eyes. She has milky skin and a heart-shaped face. She is prone to smiles and laughter, and dresses in pastels.
Personality: At first glance most would assume of Piper exactly what her life is, that of a middle daughter to be married off, and probably to her advantage. But Piper, despite being sweet, has a fire in her. In her youth, this manifests as a touch of rebellion, but as she grows it is likely to settle into a strong, maternal will.
History: Born the middle daughter to a provincial lord, Piper was by and large spoiled in her early years. She lived a charmed life, and as the middle child had very little expected of her other than that she should educate herself in a maidenly way. At least, up until a few years ago, when her father's fortune in business took some bad hits, and so she's had to work more around the house as servants had to be dismissed.
Her older brother has had to delay getting a wife, but has been engaged for some time, and her little sister is still largely spoiled as the baby of the family. The stress has been increasing, but getting Merry has been one of her greatest joys and a source of comfort. The bright-breasted doe has complimented Piper's cheerful nature wonderfully.
