Anyone ever make any? I want to. Other Japanese food suggestions? Yeah, i'm exploring food, and since my current interest is in Japan, i'll start there~

My mom made her version. (It really was a ball with a piece of chicken). It was good. But I've had some from a covenant store. That was really good. One thing I miss about Japan.....

It's actually pretty easy to make and you can put any filling in them. Definitely taste good. I was kind of surprised since my one friend made them with tuna in them and they actually tasted pretty good.
Sushi is fun to make, but you better make sure you follow the recipe and have the right equipment. The first time I tried making sushi the rice had way to much vinegar in it so it tasted horrible.

yum_tea I like to make onigiri with chicken salad as a filling. It's quick and easy, and pretty tasty too. Even my sisters will eat them, and they're both pretty picky about food.

I recently made them three days in a row. Lovely stuff, onigiris are tasty and inexpensive too! I'm supposed to be on a reduced carb diet for health reasons, but this is all I can afford to make right now. My favorite fillings are tuna and chicken teriyaki! I haven't had an umeboshi onigiri before, but I hope to try one in the near future! *(*´∀`*)☆
