Personality/Mannerism Hiroko has a similar cold, distant personality like her brother, Hiraki. Hiroko tends to hide her emotions deeper than Hiraki, and unlike him, who only reveals his soft side to Hajime, the one he loves and trusts the most; Hiroko doesn't have anyone she trusts, so she tends to keep to herself. Hiroko can be friendly and sometimes even smile at times, but when she smiles it doesn't reflect the way she feels, it's something she chooses to give, not based off an emotion. Whether she's good or bad mainly depends on what she thinks of the person or situation involved. For example, if there was a bus of kids on fire, and she wasn't around, she wouldn't care about it, and would just dismiss the thought, however if she was within the vicinity of the burning bus then she would go and save them. Whether she's good or bad depends on the situation, but she acts more on good conflicts than bad.
Personal Skill Witchcraft, some physical combat, but it's not so much her thing as it is Hiraki's, however when she chooses to fight she packs a lot of power in her moves (Due to her bear witch strength)

History/Background
Hiroko was born in Southern Korea as the legitimate ruler of their witch clan. Her real name is Hyun-Jae Seung. Hyun-Jae which meant "one who has wisdom and respect.." and Seung which meant "Successor". She was Hakaru's first child, born around 118 years before Hiraki.
Back in the 19th century Hakaru true name was Hyun-Ae, which meant "one who has wisdom and one who is loving" and her father was the ruler of their clan. Seeing as her father didn't have a son, and Hakaru was his oldest daughter she would have been made the ruler of their clan, however she refused to marry a nobleman. Due to her not to get married her father forced her into marriage, having her marry her older cousin who was the only available choice; his name being Kang-Dae (which meant "A combination of powerful and big") Kang wasn't a bad guy and wasn't abusive to her, he simply followed his duties as the son of the supporting branch of their clan. Although her heart wasn't in the marriage, Hakaru went through with her obligation to her family and got married and eventually had a daughter, whom she named Hyun-Jae.
Hiroko studied magic and witchcraft under her father's guidance, having mastered it by the time she was around 19 years of age. It was during that time that she was being required to marry someone as well, which Hiroko had zero interest in doing so. Instead of following through with her obligation to her family she planned to leave South Korea and travel around the world and see things for herself. Hakaru went and helped Hiroko escape from their homeland, wanting her daughter to pursue her own happiness and not what would have been forced upon her; however in doing so Hakaru was considered a traitor for trying disrupt their clans hierarchy and she was set to be in temporary exile for a decade, however she took the opportunity to attempt to flee permanently, although she was eventually caught and forced back home. It wasn't until over a century later when her husband died and she met Hiraki's future father who had helped her escape that she was able to be free.
Hiroko first traveled to the Southernmost islands of Japan, before working her way up North and into the main Asian continent. During her stay in Japan she grew annoyed with how much people mispronounced her name so she adapted a simpler, Japanese-based name, Hiroko Amane (which after Hakaru later took the name Amane after she escaped and changed her name to Hakaru)
In more recent times- Following her father's death, Hiroko didn't physically show any signs of remorse over his death, especially since she was the one that poisoned him (Although bear witches can filter foreign toxins, there are a few that are still lethal). Upon Hakaru meeting Hiraki's father, trouble began between his father and Hakaru's clan, with her clan intending on catching and executing his father while forcing Hakaru to bare a son to be the new ruler of their clan. Hiroko despised her father for wanting to take away her mother's happiness some more as well as forcing her to bare another child against her will, so Hiroko went and poisoned her father without a second thought, which allowed her mother to be free. It wasn't until the following year that Hiraki was born. Hiroko lived with her mother up until Hiraki was one years old in order to help Hakaru. Hiroko originally disliked Hiraki's father due to his constant absence; it wasn't until later on that she learned that his absence was to protect Hakaru and Hiraki from being discovered by the league of shadows which he was forced to be initiated into. Hiroko left home shortly after Hiraki turned one, however she did her best to look out for her younger brother.
When Hiraki was eight years old and had to abandon his home and leave for China, Hakaru originally planned on having him and his younger siblings live with Hiroko who was capable of sheltering them, and if needed, defending them; however she couldn't be located, and was forced to send them to his father's parents in China. It wasn't until 2 years later that Hiroko learned of this, however by that time it was too late to find Hiraki since China was a very overcrowded country and finding one person there was nearly impossible. It wasn't until Hiraki was 14 years old that Hiroko found Hiraki and by then it was too late. Hiraki's younger brother and sister were killed by a DWMA member (who was a member of the league) and Hiraki was killed as well, but Hiroko managed to find Hiraki in time, and he had enough willpower left in his body to be called back. Hiroko never really told Hiraki what she was to him (his older sister), only telling him what he needed to know.
Hiroko has mostly been inactive up until the past month when she learned of her brothers disappearance.
Appearance Hiroko used to wear more stereotypical witch outfits, however at the start of the more modern age (21st Century) she began dressing up in normal human clothes, finding them more comfortable and not to mention witch clothes tend to raise a red flag. She wears black schoolgirls clothes.

Hiroko's form is that of a female black bear, however she only uses this form during winter time and when in the woods (cause obviously a bear in the middle of a city is going to cause a lot of trouble).

Flaws Due to Hiroko being a pure blooded bear witch she has to hibernate during the winter (unlike Hiraki who is only half and can resist it)
Due to Hiroko being unbiased when it comes to good and bad deeds, she'll tend to do bad things, however she makes an attempt to do the right thing if it's available.
Hiroko has a bad sense of direction and follows her intuition which tends to lead her into wrong directions (Another reason why it took her so long to find Hiraki)
Weaknesses
During winter time it's very difficult for her to stay awake, and will even fall asleep in the middle of a battle at times.
Since her bear abilities focuses on strength and power sometimes when she follows through with an attack, the momentum makes it very hard to recall her attack which can either lead her open to counter attack or make her do friendly fire. Which is why she doesn't like physical fights that much because her movements are too slow and powerful (unlike Hiraki who adapted to moving fast and striking quickly)
Abilities
Healing/Limited regeneration: An ability inherited to all bear type witches. Whenever Hiroko sleeps or rests her bodies healing abilities are increased greatly and is also capable of filtering out foreign toxins (which also means stuff like the Black blood can't effect bear witches since it just gets filtered from their body)
Weakness: Obviously sleeping isn't something you can do in the middle of a battle or conflict (although she sometimes drifts to sleep during the winter when she tries fighting) and sleeping leaves you open to attack.
Magic Empowered Strength: Hiroko and Hiraki draw upon their witch blood, which is based of off bears. Bears naturally have a lot of strength and force which adds to their natural strength.
Weakness: Since the source of the strength is her witch soul wavelength, if someone is able to weaken or block her wavelength then her enhanced strength is lowered or blocked completely. Unlike Hiraki who's body was forcibly adapted to compensate with his natural strength if his enhanced strength fails (in the experiments his grandparents did on him)
Animal Transformation: Able to turn into their animal self, just like every other pure-blooded witch.
Weakness: Obviously she can't use these form like other witches use their animal form. A black bear sighting would raise a lot of alarms and cause A LOT of trouble. Not to mention being a bear would also be very noticeable. The only advantage to this form is that it increases her bear witch healing rate a lot more when she sleeps, but obviously she's very very limited on where she can use this form

Likes Those that don't cause her any trouble, Her mother and brother, Hiraki. Hiroko has a different set of feelings for Hiraki, him probably being the only person she could trust, so she tends to open up a bit more around him. She also likes having free will.
Dislikes People who act better than her or try ordering her around, being forced to do something, people who threaten to harm her family. (she only considers her mother and siblings her family) Although Hiroko never met Hiraki's younger siblings she does feel pain over their loss.

Interesting Facts/Trivia
I got the idea of her being my main character's half-sibling from Sesshomaru who's Inuyasha half-brother.
I'd want her to be voiced by Karen Strassman as her voice as Soifon from Bleach
