 He spun around and around and around again until he was too dizzy to keep spinning, and stopped suddenly, his feet splayed out to the sides. He shook his head, trying to clear his vision, and realized he was facing a tree. Underneath it stood what appeared to be three beautiful mares, but as his dizziness faded, he realized there was really only one. Well hello there, he called out to her.

Lin watched as the stallion spun himself into a dizzy spell and landed flat on the ground. Lin snorted. She wondered how someone could do that to themselves. Lin then turned her head to the side, a little startled that he was talking to her. She smiled a little quick smile, then walked up to him and narrowed her eyes, Hello. She said bluntly, not used to being spoken to. She turned her head again and said, Are you all right?

Since he was already down on the ground, he thought he should make himself comfortable. He rolled in the dirt a bit before climbing back onto his feet. I'm just fine, got a little bit dizzy is all, he said to her with a smile. What's your name?

Lin backed up a bit as the stallion rolled around in the dirt. She raised an eyebrow at his antics, and let out a puff of air. When he asked her what her name was, she was wondering how often he bathed, and barely heard him speak.... Shaking her thoughts out of her head, she smiled a bit at him, still a little wary. "Lin." She then sniffed the air around him a little..... He at least smelled like he bathed................ "What are you called?"

Most people call me Chi, but if you really want, my full name is Macchiato. He smiled at her, and then cocked his head to one side. Did you just... sniff me? he asked, laughing. He was quite amused by this stranger who seemed to be mildly offended at his relaxed nature.

Lin felt a little embarrassed. "I'm sorry," she said, "but I have never met someone who likes to roll in the dirt." she smiled a little trying to to giggle, "I am new here, and have not met anyone from here yet." She felt her short tail wiggle. She inwardly cursed the thing; it seemed to have a mind of it's own since she was foal.

Rolling in the dirt is great -- it gets all the itchy spots! Did you Fall recently? he asked her. He noticed her tail wagging, and tried really hard not to think about how cute she is.

Lin loved to scratch the itchy spots, but mostly she loved a low hanging rock she had just found some distance from the cave she temperamentally called home at the moment. Her tail seemed to want to fall off at the thought of the rock, and how wonderful it felt to scratch her back. However, it abruptly stopped as he mentioned the "Fall". She looked away from the other horse and suddenly felt as if she were all alone again. "No." Lin said softly as the memories came back.
She traveled, a lot.
She had no herd, had no family that she knew of, and was by herself in the world. Her earliest memory was that of being a small foal and on a dark, stony mountain, crying. She then remember being found, fortunately, by some other Algiedi who adopted her. She left home when she was older, not wanting to cause rifts between the herd, and had never really called any place home for long. She had heard of stars that had "Fallen", and that some had possessed no memory of their life before, just memories that started from some point in time. She suspected, perhaps, she as well had been a Fallen star.
She then turned to the stallion and smiled a little, "I can honestly say, I have no clue of my origins, however, my memories go back a long way."

Nikkichomp Chi noticed the mare turn away and wondered if he'd said something wrong. He frowned and shifted his feet as he tried to think of a way to backtrack and cheer her up. I'm the same way, you know, he said to her encouragingly. I tried to remember where I'm from for a long time, but as it turns out, it doesn't really matter! Others are usually pretty friendly regardless. He paused, thinking over the few memories he'd collected. He was unable to remember much before the current point in time, but it was something he tried not to dwell upon. He'd met a couple of Stars, had a good time, and learned a bit from each of them. I think it's more important to make good memories than it is to be able to remember your past anyway. He smiled at her and shrugged his shoulders.
Lin smiled back, "I wish to make some good memories then." her tail wiggled happily, she tried to tame it a bit, but it just wiggled more, "Then I can feel more happy about being here." She looked out at the view before her, "I like it here, where it is open... I guess I will be staying here a while." She smiled a little and said, "Do you live around here?"
Her cave that she had found was in the mountains a good run from here. There was a small pool of water near it for fresh water, and she was safe from other stars that would want to harm her.
