If there was something that Eira didn't like, even in the least bit, it was babysitting the new little halfbreed whelp that her father had brought home with him. For him to suddenly announce that not only did she have a brother, a half Wind Tribe brother at that, but that he was coming to live with them from now on... needless to say Eira wasn't pleased. Who wanted someone like the brat around? Add in on top of everything else that he kid was blind as well... so he was, if you asked Eira, nothing more then dead weight! Why was it that Father had brought him home? It was beyond her understanding and she'd done her best to avoid dealing with the kid until today, never happier that her room was a loft room that one had to climb a ladder to get to. It meant that she didn't have to try to hard to escape the kid.

Today though, today was different. Her father had announced over breakfast that he was going out hunting today, that they needed more meat in the stores, as well as various other things, now that they had another member in their family and Eira it would seem was being put in charge of her brother. All she could wonder was what she had done wrong to have to deal with the kid and his stupid mutt, "It really isn't fair, is it Flurry?" She said to the small, glittering sprite that was sitting on her shoulder. The creature gave a shake of his head, as if he didn't understand it either, which earned him a kiss on the head. If there was something Flurry knew well it was that agreeing with his Mistress always got him rewarded.

"I suppose that we should probably do... something. Maybe a walk?" She liked to walk around the village, she tended to attract attention, get presents, compliments, various proposals, it was nice. She worried that being seen with Makani might make her look back, she'd heard the whispers already about what people thought to him, but she couldn't be copped up any longer with the kid. He was too quiet! He just sat there on the pile of furs father gave him, hugging on that spoiled dog of his, and said nothing. It was as though he was just waiting on their father to get home so that he could return to clinging to the man. The only thing that saved Makani from a swift kick in the a** for such a thing was that the boy was their father's son, not some tart trying to get in good with him because he was a beloved member of the tribe and a skilled hunter. How she hated that women were already starting to sniff around now that they knew Herluin's Wind Tribe mistress was dead. While she hadn't approved of such a thing it was better then having another woman in the house at least.

"Eesh, I can't do this anymore." She muttered before she pushed up to her feet and pointed at the boy, despite him being unable to see her do it, "You! Blondie, we are going for a walk, get your boots." She ordered him before whirling on her heel and flounced over to the door to get her own boots on.

Makani knew his sister was nearby, heard to her muttering to the tiny thing that always seemed to be with her, a pet of sorts he thought. He nuzzled against the warm feathers and fur of the Raptrix pup in his arms, eyes ever closed, "Rae... I don't think sis likes me." He whispered against the warm pup who responded with a little whine and a wag of her tail, as if she were trying to comfort him. He got the feeling that there were a lot of people in the area that didn't care for him, calling him a 'halfbreed' and seeming to question why his Papa had brought him back to Zena. It was something he was starting to wonder himself. He knew that Mama was gone but why couldn't he stay in Sauti with his tribe? They seemed to be more welcoming to him. Maybe cause he was born there? He couldn't say for certain, too young to understand the workings of the minds of those around him.

When his sister was suddenly barking out orders to him, telling him they were going for a walk and to get his boots he couldn't help but to lurch to his feet, shuffling slowly forward to try to find where he'd left his boots. As he searched around for them Rae hurried forward to grab them one at a time to bring them over to him, tail wagging fast enough that he could feel it, "Good Rae." He said, patting her on the head before he sat down on the floor, pulling on his boots on before he was back on his feet again, one hand on Rae's fluffy back, and the two of them walked over to where Eira was. She was always easy to find, always seeming to wear some sort of perfume made from hardy flowers that grew out in the snow, "I'm ready." He said, holding up a foot as if to show her.

Eira looked down at the boots before she got her fur wrap, pulling it on around her shoulders, then got a second one, dropping it on Makani's head, "Let's go then." She said, heading for the front door with her brother hurrying to arrange the wrap before he followed after her. The door to their place was closed behind them and soon enough the walk was underway, one that consisted of them heading around the town, Eira taking in everything and everyone, chatting it up with various people with male voices, while Makani remained silent while shuffling along after her. Maybe if he was good, if he was quiet, and if he didn't get underfoot she would start to like him more? He sure hoped so.

Hunting, he was hunting...not your typical type of hunting though. The ice tribe member had no weapon...no tools that could end life...instead he had a snow ball, clutched in his chilling fingers as he was trying to spot his 'prey'. The dark haired youth looked out trying to catch sight of the brown haired creature that was his pet. A raoti by the name of Baroke, was digging in the snow trying to find any edible plants underneath to graze on.

"Aha!" Came his triumphant shout as the snow ball was let loose and ended up hitting the poor creature in the butt. Giving a short cry the creature bounced up and hopped/galloped away from Borra, who swiftly gave chase after him.

"Ima going to catch you!" Called Borra who seemed to be very swift on his feet, scooping up snow as he followed the creature who by now had stopped and was looking at him indignantly. "Oh come on Baroke...be a good sport." Borra chastised the raoti as he made another fair sized snow ball, the creature gave a bark snort of a sound to indicate its displeasure at being had at with snowballs and was quick the dodge the second one hurled its way.

It took off towards the village, and though Borra knew he would probably get in trouble again...chasing his Raoti into town he didn't seem to think about that part as he continued after him. Another snow ball was formed and hurled, but the raoti was quick and agile on its feet as it fled into town, it knocked down anything it viewed as a good hiding spot. It was a good things raoti's weren't very large but they certainly could do enough damage when provoked.

Cries of angry people rose up as Borra chased his pet, he apologized as he went, offering that goofy smile of his until he noticed his pet rushing straight for a woman and young boy.

"Hey! Baroke that isn't fair!" He chided the animal as it fled to hide behind the woman, child and the raptix pup.

The sound of a lot of crashing of various things being knocked up and the none too pleased voices of those that the things belonged to drew Eira's attention. She spotted the Raoti as it came racing toward her and her first instinct was to side step the thing before it dared to try to jump up on her or knock her over into the snow. A moment later though the busty Ice Tribeswoman could care less about the little beast when she spotted the one that was chasing along after him, "Well now, isn't that a nice sight." She murmured to herself, finding that she quite enjoy the sight that was the prentice boy that was coming her way. A shame she was stuck with her brother at the moment or she might have to see about flirting with him a bit, to see if she couldn't get this one into her thrall as she had many before him. Geez, this kid was really meant to ruin her fun, wasn't he?

Crossing her arms beneath her chest in a manner that made it seem that much more impressive she awaited the one that was calling out to the raoti, one named Baroke it seemed, and she gave the cute prentice her best smile as he approached, "It's quite alright." She told him, though truth be told she didn't want the thing so close to her. Such creatures belonged in a cook pot with their hides providing her warmth at night if you asked Eira. Not that she would say as much out loud of course, not wanting to chase off someone that she saw as far more interesting then her little half brother.

Makani on the other hand had turned his full attention to the source of heat that was standing behind him at the moment, lifting a hand up, then moved it slowly forward. He had no idea what it was that was behind him, but he knew it wasn't something that too big and as such he was curious. When his had came in contact with it he knew the name of the creature, not because he'd ever encountered one but because his bed back home was made up of the same soft, warm fur, "Raoti?" He asked of the thing, as if it could respond to him somehow, before toddled forward a little closer so that he could move his hands along the beast's hide, up over it's neck, then started to inspect it's head, finding that it had a neat set of horns that he hadn't known they possessed before now. It seemed to help a lot to get a better picture of what one of them was by meeting it in a still alive state.

"You feel neat. I like you whole." He said, chatting away with the creature that had been trying to hide behind him and his sister. He might wonder what it was hiding from, especially given the change in his sister's mood, but he was more interested right now in the Raoti then whatever had perked Eira up.

Next to him Rae gave a little wuff sound as the Raoti along with a look, one that told the creature that while she might be a pup that she would still bite him if he were mean to 'her' Makani. A look that the boy missed completely due to his lack of sight, merely thinking his beloved Raptrix was talking to the Raoti in the same manner he was.

Borra had stopped once his eyes were dragged away from the woman's feet and up to her ...chest..er face. He did stumble a bit there on the way up, but his gaze managed to lock onto her face despite her best efforts to distract him elsewhere. Putting a hand to the back of his head he gave her an apologetic smile.

"Sorry about Baroke I was practicing my..hunting ..he hates that game." The teen stated with a small laugh. The roati gave a snorting sound, as if playing HUNTING wasn't exactly its favorite past time and why should it be. However before it could decide to flee the protection of the woman, small hands were touching it. Blinking the creature took a small step back before turning its head up to look the child over.

At the question the roati responded with a bleat as if replying with a yes. The raoti looked to the raptix pup and gave another bleating sound to it, as if telling it to stop worrying its little tail giving a flick as it put its head into the boys hands and pushed forward for more pets. Why couldn't Borra being this nice to him? Instead chasing him all over the place...with his silly games?

Borra noted how his raoti ended up really liking the young boy he just noticed standing beside the girl. "Oh..looks like Baroke found a new friend..oh wait two new friends. Is that your raptix pup?" He inquired to Makani instantly friendly with the child, since out of all people children were perhaps the only ones who accepted Borra's carefree ways easily. Even going as far as bending over so he was eye level with the boy, though he wasn't aware that he was blind at the moment.

"Is this your brother?" He turned his attention back to Eira as he didn't want to ignore her completely, "what a cute trio you three make. You must all get fawned over."

Eira couldn't help but to smile at Borra, seeing the way that his eyes had linger for a moment on her chest, before rising up and she saw the look on his face that she knew well. He would be another easy one to deal with, wouldn't he? The sort easily distracted by a pretty face and a bit of bouncing, something that pleased her a bit as she was always a fan of a person, well mostly men, that was easy to manipulate. She really didn't like any sort of woman after all, they just annoyed her to no end since she saw them as competition. That was neither here nor there though since none of them seemed to be about at the moment attempting to steal this cutie away from her.

When he spoke of how he was practicing his hunting she couldn't help but to give a happy smile and a little clap of her hands, "An aspiring hunter then? Wonderful! We could always use more men brave enough to take up such a task." She said in a praising manner, glad that there were more of the male Prentice that were going to be aiding her father with that task. Maybe if they got more active hunters in the village then she would be able to see her father more often? Something that she would appreciate for sure, "I wish you luck with your training, even if your friend isn't a willing participate."

As the creature gave a bleating sound Makani couldn't help but to laugh, finding it funny that the Raoti seemed to be 'talking' to him in the same manner that Rae did from time to time, though she made wuffs and yips instead of bahs. He started to pet the Raoti that much more, "It's nice to meet you, your are the first Raoti I've ever met!" He said happily, then gave a sound of awe when his hand brushed against one of the horns that the creature had. Amazing! He had horns! Oh, Makani wanted horns too! The best he had were the crystals on his shoulders he thought to himself.

As Borra bent over to get closer to Makani, something that Eira pouting just a bit as she didn't want to share the cutie with her brother of all people, the young boy gave pause. He could feel the warmth Borra gave off getting closer, as well as his scent, and then turned his head to better listen to what was being said to him, "Yes, this is Rae." He said, before he lifted on hand from where it was resting on Baroke's back and reached it out to touch it to Borra's face, patting it against the other guy's features in a curious manner. He was a lot younger then Papa, wasn't he? Something he could tell quite easily after a few moments of inspection.

The petting was another thing that had Eira a bit displeased, something she hid when Borra asked her if Makani was her brother, something she instantly answered with, "Half brother." As if Borra couldn't tell that she wasn't a pure blood and that Makani wasn't only half Ice Tribe. It was just an automatic thing with her to correct people who called Makani her brother, "A cute trio? Why thank you." She said, unable to help but to preen a bit, pleased with being called cute. She might have preferred ravishing or beautiful but it worked, "As for getting fawned over, not nearly enough but maybe you can make up for that?" She said, crossing her arms 'innocently' under her chest, something that pushed it up just a bit more, something she knew could be wonderfully bedazzling to most male prentice... save for those males that liked other males, another group she disliked.

Borra felt himself blush slightly at her compliment, and he raised a hand to rub the back of his head a bit awkward with her attention. Okay so chasing his raoti hadn't really been practice..it was just...more a game he liked to play with the creature, but the adults all thought he was wasting time doing things like this, or playing with the children. Sure the mothers appreciated that he looked over them and was willing to go along with their crazy games as well..invent new crazy games for them to play, but the men of the village felt he was...well...a waste. He was a man, shouldn't he be putting more effort into helping the tribe survive? Borra supposed he should be more worried about that, but..he couldn't find it in himself to be that serious. Not yet anyway.

"Ah...well thanks. I wish everyone believed in me like you did." Borra chuckled recovering from his blush to look up and only have boobs prominently pushed out in his direction, blinking it took only a second for his recovery.

"Oh? A half brother?" Borra echoed as if this should of been more obvious since the boy had blonde hair instead of black. "Well then aren't you just adorable!" He continued onwards as he ruffled Makani's hair as well offer his hand for Rae to sniff, since he was after all touching its master.

"You know your so lucky to have such nice older sister to look after you." This was said with the obliviousness of how she actually treated him, but he would learn soon enough. Without looking up at Eira he was smiling and it was obvious that he was enamored with the young boy. "We should all go get something hot to drink! I am sure Baroke would enjoy a break from me chasing him."

Eira wanted to chuckle as the other prentice set about blushing in such a cute manner, always rather amused at how easy it was to knock a guy off his feet with the right amount of posing and a smile. They really were simple creatures weren't they? It made her life a whole lot easier though she reminded herself before she gave him another smile, "You are very much welcome. I am sure with a bit more practice on your part others will start to believe in you as well." One didn't get anything for free after all if you were a man... save for if you were someone like Makani she supposed. That was more due to the fact that he was both little and blind, it made her wonder what would happen with him as he grew out of his cute stage. A question for another day though as she had more important and interesting things to think about at the moment, that being Borra.

Of course a moment later he was chatting with Makani, making her wonder if the kid had some sort of magic that made him that he used to bedazzle Borra. What a shame, she had been having fun teasing and chatting with him and now he wanted only to talk with Makani? Not something she cared for in the least bit as she felt her brother should be content with just playing with the animals as the prentices spoke.

When Borra said that Makani was lucky to have 'such a nice older sister to look after him' both of the two siblings seemed to go completely quiet. Both knew that it wasn't quite the truth and as such weren't exactly sure how to respond to the other man's words... though a moment later he was saving them both from having to come up with a proper response when he piped up about how they should go and get something hot to drink and that Baroke would enjoy a break from being chased. Makani shifted in place a moment, one hand on Rae, the other on the raoti, before he asked, "Do you think we could, Eira?" A nice, hot drink sounded good and it meant that he had more time to play with the raoti and hear Borra talk, he found that he liked his voice. It was far more friendly then most he met with in this area.

Eira shifted in place a moment, debated the idea with herself, before finally nodded, "I don't see why not." A hot drink would be good and it meant more time with this particular prentice as well as having someone to chat with that wasn't her brother so it was really win-win if you asked her.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 29, 2013 6:11 pm

Yes they could go get hot drinks! His house would be best or they could find someone selling it, although he didn't have any money on him to purchase with or to trade and so going to his place sounded like the best idea. Ruffling Makani's hair he looked to Eira and beamed at her. If anything he had a very youthful appearance as if he was actually years younger than he actually was.

"We can head to my home, I am sure my mother wouldn't mind giving us all something hot to drink there." Came his suggestion as he stretched. Baroke though gave a bleating sound as if it was trying to warn Borra that his mother also didn't appreciate random strangers in her home, although she had a soft spot for kids. In fact that was probably why Borra loved kids himself, due to his mothers influence.

Maybe if they were really lucky his mum would be baking something delicious a well. He didn't seem to notice the awkward silence between brother and sister about her taking good care of him. On the outside they appeared the perfect team, both adorable they must just have people eating out of their hands.

"Want me to carry you Manaki? I give really good piggy back rides." Borra prompted as he flashed a smile at Eira his good nature almost blinding.

It would seem as though Borra had the complete attention of both Eira and Makani when he mentioned his mother and how she wouldn't mind giving them something to drink. The both of them had lost their mothers in different ways so it made them a bit curious about Borra's mother, not that they were admitting as much. Instead they just nodded when he made the suggestion that they go there, as though that was a little bonus along with the hot drinks.

"Sounds good." Eira finally pipped up, missing the fact that the Roati was trying to warn them off the idea. She didn't really seem to care what the critter wanted, instead caring far more about Borra himself. When he offered the piggy back ride to Makani though she gave a slight pout, "Awww, don't want to give me a piggyback ride?" She asked in a teasing manner before looking down at her half brother. She supposed that if nothing else it meant that she wouldn't have to carry him in order to help him to keep up with their longer strides, something that she liked the sound of. She wasn't the sort that went around doing heavy lifting if she didn't have to. She would much rather get others to do that sort of thing in her place. As such she swallowed down the jealousy she felt, gave a sweet smile, and then added, "It really is sweet of you to carry Makani, it allows him to keep up easier." She had to play nice, it always caused things to go more smoothly after all.

Makani tilted his head to listen to Borra's offer and then his sister's later words about how Borra carrying him was a sweet thing to do. He felt a moment of confusion as to why she was being so nice before he gave a smile, "That would be nice, Borra." He murmured, wanting a piggyback ride. Turning to Rae he said, "Follow after us, alright? And no teasing Baroke." He added, just in case she wanted to chase him in the same manner that Borra had been chasing him. It wasn't something the Roati seemed to like to it was best that his Raptrix didn't do the same.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 04, 2013 8:40 am

Perhaps Borra took his mother for granted, after all he had one and never suffered a loss like Eira and Makani had. Not that...he was aware that they had been dealt such devastating blows in life he had been reaching for Makani when Eira spoke up, sounding rather disappointed she wasn't being given the ride instead.

To be honest it had thrown him off, he hadn't expected her to ask and actually thought she was being serious. Blinking he looked up to Eira confusion apparent on his face, looking her over as if accessing how big she was and if he would actually be able to life her. He wasn't exactly the manliest of men.

"Ah how about next time?" It was lucky for Borra he didn't actually say what he was thinking about how she may be too heavy for him to carry. Reaching for Makani he was slow giving the boy ample enough time to get use to Borra's presence before quietly warning him that he was going to lift him up and warning him he had to hold on tightly else Baroke may try and take a nibble of his clothing if he fell into the snow. Borra was...a marvel with children, so patient and friendly.

Helping the blind child onto his back he straightened up and chuckled. "All those days helping my dad carry wood home seem to have paid off." It was a strange comment to make but he took a step forward and gestured that Eira was to follow as well the raptix and the roati.

Baroke was sniffing Rae, completely unafraid of the pup and giving a bleat as he heard Borra's words, giving a small head butt to the raptix before bounding away wanting to play with her.

Eira starred straight back at Borra as the young man seemed to be sizing her up at the moment, likely trying to figure out if he would be able to give her a piggyback ride of not. After a moment he offered to do so 'next time' and she couldn't help but to giggle, "Alright, I will hold you to that." She told him, giving him a little wink before she took a step back, allowing the prentice to see about picking up her brother instead of her. It was the mere fact along that he offered to carry her 'next time' instead of saying something stupid that kept her mood a friendly one. She'd hate to have to take a swing at him since he was quite handsome after all. Not to mention the fact that someone else might see or hear and she really didn't want to lose her cover as being a sweet and gentle person or anything. Best that she keep all the boys wrapped around her little finger where they belonged.

Once Makani was on the prentice's back, clinging to him, he gave a bit of a smile, "This is nice." He said, "Only Papa carries me around like this." The man was big and strong though, far different in feel from Borra build wise, but he still liked the kind young man with the Raoti friend. Unlike a lot of the people that seemed to see Makani as strange and different Borra seemed to look right passed that and just saw him as a youngling. It was a rather nice change of pace from the norm if you asked him.

"Be sure to thank him for the ride, Makani." Eira told her brother, trying to remind him about his manners at the moment. The young woman didn't even give the two animals a glance as they started to walk, sure that they would keep up since the two boys were their keepers. Without Borra and Makani the two would have to fend for themselves which made her more then certain that they were going to follow along, just to make sure that they continued to be fed.

At his sister's urging he gave a nod of his head, "Thank you for the ride." He murmured, flushing a bit as he realized that he'd forgotten to say so. Well, at least Papa wasn't here to hear that he'd been so forgetful he thought to himself. Tightening his hold on Borra a little he tilted his head so that he could listen for Rae, hearing the way that she was bouncing around in the snow at the moment, her steps seeming to be moving at the same pace as the Raoti, meaning that she was likely chasing after him, "Be nice, Rae!" He called after her, just to make sure that she didn't tease the soft, sweet Baroke too much in her enthusiasm. He was met with a 'wuff' of reply, as though she was agreeing to be nice as she continued the chase.

Borra smiled at being compared to Makani's father, or rather that his father gave him piggyback rides like this. Giving a slight jump to get Makani higher up on his back he gave a large grin. His father use to do this too, when he was really little, that stopped abruptly when he had suddenly been deemed to old to receive piggy back rides.

"Well your a lucky boy Makani! My mother makes the best drinks to warm you up from the cold." Borra stated with a happy smile, his life was made bearable by his mother's presence. After all though she also was inclined to think he needed to grow up, she wasn't quite so angry about it like his dad.

"Maybe you'll get to meet my sister! If she is up anyway, her name is Sin'qua. Hey Makani that means we have something in common! My sister is the older than I am too." Though it seemed that Borra was having a good time just...talking about anything, "Maybe you could be friends with her Eira, she doesn't have many." He of course had to include Eira in the conversation otherwise it may be seen as rude.

Boraoke ran forward bounding like a raoti may, bouncing. Leaping from spot to spot sometimes getting stuck in drifts it didn't anticipate was so ..deep before struggling to get out and running agani. It was having far too much fun. Much more fun than when Borra chased it.

Eira turned to look at Borra as he spoke of having a sister named Sin'qua and how may be Eira could be friends with her because Sin'qua didn't have many. She gave a sweet smile then nodded, "Perhaps." She said though really had little interest in it. Other women were, to her, nothing but competition when it came to having the attention of the men of the village. She had zero interest in having friends that would be in direct competition with her in anyway, instead preferring male friends since they were far more interest. The problem being that this boy seemed to be more devoted to playing big brother to Makani then he did serving her, such a shame. She supposed that meant that she would have to cross him off the list of men that she found to be useful to her... but he could at least be useful in that he would take her brother off her hands. At least he had some use to her.

Makani tilted his head for a moment, as though a little confused by why Eira was being so sweet about the idea of meeting with another girl since he'd heard her say she didn't care for them, but shrugged. Maybe he had heard wrong? Or perhaps it was because Borra's sister didn't have many friends so Eira felt bad for her? Possible he supposed, "I hope that we get to meet her if she is home." He said, not sure if Sin'qua left home a lot to go on long walks like Eira did.

"I suppose that we will only know once we get there." Eira said, hoping against hope that the woman wasn't at home so that she wouldn't have to feign interest in meeting her. This really was becoming far more work then it was worth. If only she could excuse herself with some sort of made of reason for why she couldn't continue on this little walk with the two boys. Her father likely wouldn't be pleased with her running off and leaving Makani behind though so she would need to deal with it, huh? What a bother.

As the Raoti ran about Rae did her best to keep up, tripping over her own big paw from the time to time, tail wagging up a storm. It was obvious that the Raptrix pup was having a ton of fun with her new friend just as Makani was having fun with his new friend. The only one who wasn't in the best of spirits being Eira but she was a master at hiding that, looking as though she were having the time time of her life.

Borra only nodded his head and started his endless chatter about his family, how his father worked with the other hunters to provide food for the village and how his mother although not a healer was a den mother and thus helped the other women who had just had newborns. He didn't go into his sister much as Sin'qua was lazy and didn't like to do much. If they did come across her at home it was unlikely that she was going to be very friendly. But maybe he would be wrong, Makani seemed hopeful about meeting her, and hey maybe Eira would become a good friend to her!

He was a bit on the foolish side not realizing how Eira was completely not for making friends with women, but it didn't matter. To make things more interesting he picked up his speed and let Makani enjoy the speed and the air rush past his face. it didn't take long before his home loomed into view and he was quick to observe that the cart was gone so it meant his father was out. Good.

"Mother! I have some friends over," He called out as he pushed open the door before he helped Makani off his back and onto the floor.

Eira trotted along behind Borra who insisted upon running for some reason, something that she wanted badly to complain about. Eesh, what was so good about running anyway? Didn't he know that ladies didn't run? Given that he was a boy it was pretty unlikely she thought to herself, sighing a little as she did her best to keep up. It wasn't so much that she was out of shape or that she was unable to keep up with him, it was more that she just hated to run. There were others out there, men mostly, who would run around for her, both to fetch things for her and because they were showing off for her. This sort of running around seemed to be more for Makani's entertainment, something else she didn't care for. Today just wasn't her day, was it?

As they finally got to Borra's home Eira sighed in relief, glad that they wouldn't have to run anymore for a while. Crossing her arms over her chest she set to inspecting the place, giving a nod from time to time, then looked over at Borra, "You have a nice place." It meant that they came from a good family, something that always interested her. If she ever decided upon one guy he would need to come from a good family and would need to have a father that was as impressive as hers was, not to mention that he would need to be as impressive himself. Looking at Borra though she wasn't too sure that he was her type. A little too childish and seemed more interested in playing with Makani. Was her brother a little older she would wonder if Borra might be 'like that' but doubted it, figuring that he might instead be the sort that was just immature for his age. Not really her type but he might be interesting for a day.

As they stepped inside, Borra calling out to his mother that he had friends over, Makani gave him one last hug before he was lowered to the ground. The moment his feet touched the floor Rae was at his side, pushing against his hand to show him that she was there. She was his eyes after all and while the Raptrix was having fun playing with the Raoti she knew her place was at Makani's side if he didn't have someone else holding onto him anymore. Resting one hand on the fluffy pup's back he tilting his head toward where he heard Borra's breathing coming from and asked, "Is your mother, father, and sister home today?" It was obvious from his tone that he was a little curious to meet them now after hearing Borra talk about them and making them sound so great. Maybe they would be nicer then some of the other members of the village that didn't seem to like to have a halfbreed in their midst.
