FOR TYBALT AND TERRA gaia_star LOCATION: Any Halloween Convenient Store (like 13-11 or PM-PM) gaia_star STATUS EFFECT: There is a new dog treat that all makes all canine students simply pine for it over and over. The only problem is that one, it is for girls and secondly, the packaging is super pink and cute and fluffy and no boil would want to be caught dead buying something like that. If only a proxy was here.... gaia_star BONUS CONDITION: Tybalt has to subtly convey to Terra that he would really like her to buy him a pack of Bow Wow Puppy Snacks. Now how to do this without ruining his reputation....

Tybalt wasn't normally a late night snacker and actually rarely ate anything at all. However, word had it that there was a new, divine, treat on the market. Something so delicious that it made your mouth water simply to look at it. And the smell! He where should he start about the smell and its--Ugh! It sounded so good! So good in fact, that it even started to invade his dreams at night. These past few nights he had been restless. Each time, black dog had woken up, disappointed and with a strange and unfamiliar feeling in the pit of his stomach. Hunger.
He had to get those treats! But how?
The black dog was already at the 13-11, face pressed up against the glass as he peered in through the window. He knew where they were. He saw a couple come out with one in hand, passing him by with the godly--damn it! Focus! It wasn't that the black dog was broke. He was sure he had more than enough silver pumpkin seeds to purchase at least three boxes full of them. The problem was that the packaging was--
"PINK!" not to mention fluffy and glittery and, "Why in Jack's name did it have to be a ghoul's treat! That's sexist!" He complained leaning into the glass. Eyes still locked on the target.
There was no way he could go in and get it himself. If someone caught wind about it--namely Ren, he would never live it down.

Terra had been out gifting things to people (post christmas, but there were people and presents still!) when she caught sight of the glowing sign of the convenience store. It flickered, going out for a moment before lighting up again--
It was fascinating. For a moment she just stared at the sign, absently heading for it. It was so shinyyyy--
Why was there a boil glued to the window?
"Oh! You must be careful, senor! If your tongue touches the glass I am sure that it will stick!" Terra said--out to save the black dog. Yes... that's the biggest problem in the situation, Terra.

Tybalt had been so preoccupied with the treats, that he hadn't even noticed the ghoul approached. It was only when she spoke that he pried himself away from the window, leaving a smear of drool across the smooth surface.
"See nor?" He repeated, still wide eyed from staring at the treats too long. Who was this ghoul and why did she sound funny? No wait, she kind of sounded like Chuppi. "Ah, its not stuck." He reassured. Lucky for him, he didn't have to worry about the whole 'tongue sticking to everything in winter' problem. Though there was the problem that he was drooling all over the store front.
"Umm.. I don't normally do that." He added sheepishly.

"Oh! But--" she frowned, cocking her head slightly as she thought about it. "Is there a reason you are licking the window?" she asked. "Does it taste good?" she went on, moving closer to peer through the window--and possibly taste it.
What? She had seen edible trees in Christmas Town, was it too much to ask for candy windows in Halloween?
Not that she'd ever seen one... but hope springs eternal!

There was a pause. "Naw, nothing like that." Though the black dog wasn't tasting the glass for the fun of it, he had been pressed against it for a reason. A fluffy, pink reason.
And then it came to him!
As the ghoul approached the glass, the black dog gave a wide, toothy grin. One full of serrated teeth. "Actually," The grin was gone by the time she would look around. Replaced entirely by an innocent look. One that only a dog or cat would be able to pull off. The puppy eyes. "I was hoping someone would be able to help me with something."

"Inside? But if you needed their help, why did you not just go inside and ask for it?" she asked, completely misunderstanding him. Good thing was, she didn't try licking the glass. That would have been awkward.
"Are they--" she lowered her voice, looking around, "the type that does not let certain people inside?" Oh, if they were she would go in there and give them a piece of her mind! Two pieces!!

"Huh?" He blinked. "Oh! Yes yes yes! You see--" He placed a hand on her shoulder, gently turning her to see the demon manning the cashier. "--they don't take too kindly to dogs. In fact, they hate us. But this is the only place that's open at this time of night. You see my dilemma, right?" Of course, what he was saying was total bullshit and that if they truly hated dogs, they weren't likely to be selling dog treats in the first place. But he was counting on her not looking too deeply into this and just agreeing to help him out.
"What do you say? Wanna' help out a canine in need?" And he was mostly definitely in need.

"They are so rude--I will help you senor perro! I will go in and give them a piece of my mind! I cannot believe that they are so judgmental! Perros are people too!" And she turned, about to storm into the shop to give them "a piece of her mind" which would inevitably involve a lot of words that no one but her (and Chuppi, had she been here) would have understood.

Tybalt had still been smiling, sweetly, thinking his plan was going well. Or at least he was up until she decided that she was going to go in a verbally tear them a new one. "Nooo! no no no! Wait!" He quickly seized her by elbow, gently tugging her back. "There is a better way."
The black dog paced back and forth a little, trying to think up a plan on the spot.
"Ah hah! I've got it!" He pushed her forward again, before pressing himself up against the glass. "See that?" He pointed toward the pink poof, containing delectable treasures. "That is their most valued item. If we get that, it will get them back more than words ever will." He supposed he should be feeling bad that he was making lies up about complete strangers, but he really wanted those treats.
"What do you say?"

They had an entire section of pink things. Terra frowned, pointing at the corner. "Over there?" she asked, pointing at the corner. "Are you sure it's there?" she asked, frowning skeptically. "It is very... pink." What sort of store WAS this??

The black dog waved a finger in front of her face, making a 'tsk tsk' noise. "Exactly. What better way to guard their valuable items, other than to mask it something horrific like that? No one would ever suspect it, nor would they try and steal it." His grin grew a little wider. "But we know better, don't we?"
Yes! This was going beautifully! She didn't suspect a thing. A little more bs'ing and soon enough he would have those Bow Wow Puppy Snacks he had been longing for in his grasp.

Terra nodded, looking at the door. "I will go get the important thing!" And she headed inside, boldly, heading straight for the pink things. She stared at them, moving from one--to the treats--to the next one. It seemed she wasn't quite sure which one was the important one. After a moment of hesitation she picked up a box and headed for the window. "Senor Perro, is this the thing?" she asked him. She held up the box from the pink corner. It said "Trojan Monster" across the top and had a picture of a protection charm on it. She had no clue what that meant.

Secretly, Tybalt was cheering on the inside. Finally! He was so close! So close to getting those treats! Soon he could--
--Those were not the treats.

Tybalt's face was one of shock as she showed the box of 'Trojan Monster' through the window and while she didn't know what they were, the black dog clearly did. "No no no!" He hissed out, flailing his arms around and pointing to the shelf. "Get rid of it! The other one! Its the other one!"

"They are not?" Terra said, looking at the box. "But it says 'proo--ven to incre--ase plea--sure," she read slowly. "It is for pleasure! It must be something wonderful!"
