User ImageAkuma's Manor (also known as Kimaru Manor), is a large estate that was once home to a coven of vampires, but now resides under the ownership of Akuma. Not much is known about the manor or it's owner, other than that many years ago, it was filled with great wealth and a powerful coven of vampires once resided in it. But now, the manor still holds it's same regal appearance, except is older and less pristine. In terms of property, the estate takes up a great amount of land. There are many rooms, some of which are a library, a dining hall, and a ballroom. Akuma's bedroom is located at the top floor. However, the manor also has many other bedrooms. Outside, there is a courtyard that eventually leads out into a forest, both being property that also belong to the estate.

It had been a drive and a short walk, all of which combined lasted for several hours, until the destination of Akuma's manor had been finally reached. Slowly, she made her way up to the wrought iron gate that formed an enterance to her property. The gate in terms of size was massive and had the cursive engraving of a 'K' on the front of it, but was nothing compared to the manor itself. Akuma began making her way down along the half-crumbled path that lead up to the front of her house, the path now littered with fallen leaves. Once she reached the steps of the porch to the large manor, only then did Akuma pause. She glanced over her shoulder, dark amber eyes shimmering with curiosity as she awaited to see if he'd follow. In her hand, Akuma held the form of a shiny golden key that unlocked the front door to her manor.

xxxSoftly padding up to the house, he himself having never stepped foot inside of the vehicle Akuma had been in. No. He'd opted for the old fashioned way of just simply running instead of letting motor vehicles take him around. Spinning his sword around his hand, he sniffed the air a few times as if taking in it's very history by scent alone. His eyes flickered a bright golden-amber before returning to his normal steel blue color as he stopped spinning his sword and ran his fingertips against the concrete beneath his feet.

xxxWhile the building seemed magnificent, he could hear the sorrow, the fear, the very voices of the deceased that had once been here. It paid to be intuned to the underworld in some mannerisms. Jude raised his gaze towards the redhead standing near the door only to set his sword against his back and moving swiftly up to her side, his playful smile still in place. "So why do you remain here when you'd have better luck marrying a nobleman in one of the four, well technically three since the South Vampire Kingdom's king went awol and practically destroyed his entire kingdom, kingdoms?" he asked curiously.

For a long moment, Akuma remained standing where she was. The elegant form of her figure was kept oddly still in her mannerisms as her gaze swept across the property within an almost unassuming manner. At the countless amount of years that had passed by, Akuma had seen the estate in the peaks of it's beauty. The only details now giving away change on the property were the corroded tint of rust on the gates and minor breakage in stone, all of which together signalled passing time since the manor had been flourishing in it's glory days. Yet as time continued on as it always it within the usual cycle, the days of glory that the manor had once experienced now meant nothing but half-faded memories to Akuma.

Though the manor itself looked and seemed to be nothing but an impassive shadow, it was Akuma who became suddenly attentive as she sensed a familiar presence having crossed onto the property. Now glancing over her shoulder, even though the delicate features of her face didn't give away the mere hint of a smile, it was the manner that her rose-hued eyes seemed to gleam and the dip of her head that made the statement of a greeting. However, at seeing the smile across his face, Akuma was glad that he seemed to be having his usual positive and playful attitude on the most part. This was mostly because the typical reactions Akuma recieved once bringing a slave to her property for the first time, were normally much different. Although, this was only because to plain view, the manor looked menacing, seemed mencacing, and probably was menacing to the ones that came far off, who had no knowledge of the complexities that the manor held within it and of it's extensive past. However, Akuma was glad that intimidation clearly wasn't one of the reactions her home left on him.

With the metallic gleam of the golden key she had daintily held in one hand, Akuma took the time to unlock the massive door that marked the main enterance to the manor. She was able to push it open with minimal effort, despite how it might've appeared to plain view. Akuma paused once she headed inside to the opening foyer to her home, listenning to his question with a relaxed chuckle escaping her lips. "Why do I remain here..." She repeated, her gaze now carefully scanning the interior of the manor. "This place is my home, and it has been for quite some time. I could never imagine leaving. It's not just because I like the property itself, it's because of all the history that's here." Akuma began explaining. At mentioning the subject of the manor's history, most of it, she tried to purpously not remember. Although Akuma's sense of memory had each image preserved in it as crisp as the day she'd experienced it, centuries worth of memories combined she found were not very pleasant, since they often lead to long lasting headaches. At hearing the second part of his question, Akuma had to admit that she was impressed that he had knowledge of the part of the Vampire Kingdom's history. "Better luck marrying a nobleman? That is not how I see it. There was once a time where my father had tried pressuring me into marrying one of these noblemen... Or more specifically, a 'Vampire Prince', depending on how you choose to view it. He had hoped it would gain us a better friendship with the surrounding vampire kingdoms." Akuma responded, her smooth soprano voice holding faint derision at the memory. Then, changing the subject, she glanced back over at him. "And my name is Akuma. I don't think that I got your name yet though." She said calmly and offered a small smile as though hoping to prompt more of an introduction.

xxx"Everyone just calls me Jude and I'd prefer not changing that," the male almost seemed to purr while following her inside the building. While closing the door behind him, he flashed a brief glare at the surrounding woods before returning his cheerful demeanor back to the redheaded vampiress. Her response to his question almost made him laugh. Almost. "You are far more vulnerable than you need to be by staying here. This place wouldn't last long should that happen... I stand by the idea of you leaving this place as soon as possible should I grow bored and leave. You wouldn't only have the loup garoux on you, but the drow, the crusiniks, the demons.... Need I really continue the list?" His eyes flickered across the walls without much hesitation as if judging how old such a building was although his smile never faded even in the slightest.

xxx"Considering you obviously rejected the prince of the West Kingdom, you'd only have two options left if you were to leave here. Which would you rather go to; Queen Illia, the queen to the North, or Queen Lydaea, the queen to the East? I hear Illia has four sons and two nephews of multiple species, a musician bodyguard who can sing and play any song, a highly obedient captain of the royal guard with a brain that can process all of the 'what if's' within a matter of seconds alongside multiple other noblemen who are single. Lydaea has a son, four nephews, a librarian who can translate even the most ancient of texts and multiple noblemen and royal guards who are single." While he made it obvious that he disagreed with her remaining here much longer, he still seemed rather comfortable as he deliberately tapped his feet against the ground while adding a soft clap in the tune of Lean On Me. He might've seemed very laidback and relaxed, but his eyes were actually watching things most others couldn't see. Sneezing briefly, he blinked before giving a soft chuckle at how his nose had already picked up on a light scent that made him sneeze.

"Alright then, Jude," was all that Akuma responded with, though gave the slight nod of her head, this being her own impassive way of saying 'nice to meet you'. Though the female placed both sophistication and dignity at the some of the highest of things that she liked to uphold, now that she was within the privacy of her own home, she found it much easier to maintain a more casual and relaxed attitude. After heading into the main room of the house, Akuma sat down atop one of the almost regal-appearing red velvet couches, though kept her calm gaze locked with his own silvery eyes as she listenned to his words, considering them. "Vulnerable?" She suddenly blurted out with a cold laugh. "Ah, I may be on my own out here... Well, except for you of course... But on the most part, I am not that vulnerable. I'd never be ignorant enough to think that I'm one hundred percent safe, but at the same time, to say that I am completely vulerable would be a misconception." Akuma paused for a moment, her gaze sweeping across the room within an almost obervant manner. It was then that a slight smile came to her lips. "This house... It may be old, but it does actually have many defense mechanisms inlayed into it, and I myself have my own strategies as well. And besides, there's expanse routes of underground escape passageways should anything severe happen." She then explained within an informative tone of voice. The last bit about the escape passageways was something Akuma normally never revealed, but she figured that she might as well, especially considering the fact that the passageways would be nearly impossible to find to someone other than herself.

"However, even with all of that, I am still aware of the many possible threats. Right now though, even if most of those are my common enemies, I am typically very good at maintaining and balencing a diplomatic relationship with all of them." She then added. Akuma fell silent for a moment at the last part of what he said, considering the words in her mind although not completely agreeing with them. With the quick shake of her head, a gentle sigh escaped her lips. "But even if something terrible were to happen to this place... I could never imagine leaving it. I'll stay with the home and vanish along with it should it ever reach it's demise." Akuma stated. She spoke within a calm tone of voice, the mere realizations behind her words being something that she'd easily come to cope with. "Speaking of being here.. My little journey to the Center was the first time I've left my home in let's see... Three or four years, maybe? I guess you could say that I kind of live under a rock." She then said in an almost joking tone of voice, laughter tinting her words as she gave her attempt at shedding light on the subject. Being optomistic was something Akuma wasn't skilled at, but it was something that she figured she should at least try for once.

Now going back to laying back down against the couch, her arms streched behind her head in a relaxed manner, she grew even more impressed at the knowledge that he had in the vampire kingdom. Although Akuma had expected this just a little with her thinking that she'd caught wherewolf of some sort in his scent, she hadn't expected him to know this much about it all. "Living in a place like that, a whole knew kingdom, somewhere that would be completely out of my element and completely new to me, under the rule of someone else? That's hardly my style at all... I mean once, I'd lived in a coven that was large enough and powerful enough to the point where it could've almost been considered another kingdom... But that's a whole other story. But I like being where I am. I am completely fine." Akuma stated clearly, the amber depths of her eyes now shining with something that was both mixed with defiance and determination. "Anyways, speaking about living in this place... Just in case you were wondering, you'll have your own room of course. Also, with the size of this home, it's become quite a hassle to maintain, so the west wing of it is completely off limits."

xxxHaving mostly ignored most of her body language altogether, Jude remained rather calm. He could've retorted several witty comebacks to most of her words, but bit his tongue instead of causing any bad air. He could tell she was somewhat unused to the whole being cheerful even when being negative which simply made his smile widen slightly. It'd be so fun disobeying her directions of not going into the west wing.

xxx"Hellhound, a guardian of the underworld. You seem unable to determine what type of canine I am, my undead friend, so there you have it," he almost seemed to hum as he brushed his oddly colored hair from his face. Dropping into a seated position while flipping his sword back in front of him, his fingers tapping out a completely different and unusual beat. "I'll repeat myself only this once; you're far to vulnerable here on your own. And while you say that being in a kingdom ruled by another is out of your comfort zone, you cannot remain isolated from the rest of your kin. All covens are intermixed with each other and they are obvioiusly already questioning your loyalty as is. Besides that, it's not just those outside of your home you need worry about."

xxxStill remaining rather calm and level-headed, he stood back up and began stretching. He'd already figured there'd be rules along with having his own room, unless she decided to get others, but it didn't mean he would obey the rules. Flicking his eyes briefly over the vampiress' head, he simply held his sword's sheath in his hand while taking up a relaxed standing position. "Of course, ma'am. Just don't blame me if I do end up on that half of the estate; I sleep walk," he hummed cheerily. While that was a straight up lie, it would be hard for anyone to tell thanks to how cheerful he was.

As he spoke, Akuma turned to gaze out through a window, although listened to every word that he said. As always, the vampiress was simply considering each thing, going into her usual state of in-depth thought about the subjects that most others would think of as unimportant. When he revealed was he was, only then did she suddenly gaze over her shoulder at him, a curious smile now faintly held on her face. "A Hellhound...." Akuma repeated in an intrigued tone of voice. "I have only heard stories about those types of guardians. Or legends, as others have called them." She finally remarked. Given how long Akuma had been alive for thanks to immortality, even she was surprised that in all of those years, she hadn't met a being such as a Hellhound. If Hellhounds are supposed to guard the underworld, then how did he get so far from there in the first place, and end up where he is now? Akuma thought to herself out of her own curiosity, but for once didn't apply the term 'slave' to him, as now she was starting to think that he didn't exactly fit under that category. But she also remembered the reason why she'd purchased him in the first place. It was for the same reason why she'd purchased the other slaves before, and also the reason why all of them eventually met their demises earlier than expected.

Akuma remained still, although her eyes narrowed slightly as she then heard him continuing on about the subject of being in her own home. "You have a good point," was all Akuma started out saying, although the quiet tone of voice that used now held the sharp edge of annoyance to it. She suddenly grew angered that she'd even just admitted to something as simple as that. With her usually calm gaze now turning into that of a glare, a frustrated sigh escaped her lips. "However, I am fully aware that other covens are intermixed! Honestly, do you think I wouldn't know that? And questioning my loyalty? Never... It is best if I am not involved with the other vampires. We are on equal terms right now, and I am not simply just going to abandon my home if there aren't any clear threats at the moment. I've lived in isolation for hundreds of years without any negative interferences, and should any come in the future, I have it all planned out!" Akuma finally snapped, as for a moment the color of her eyes morphed into that of a blood-red color.

Damn, I must be getting thirsty, she finally thought to herself as she drew in a deep breath of air, hoping to compose her own thoughts. Akuma could feel her hunger slightly kicking in, although she tried to ignore it despite knowing that it was probably the main reason why she'd given such an impulsive response to what he'd said. Akuma didn't plan on apologizing for her outburst, but instead she tried to brush it off by composing herself once again and acting as though nothing had happened. "Anyways, the reason why I mentioned not going into the west wing... Well, I hardly even go into that part of the house anymore. And you might not like what you find." She stated in a calm tone of voice, saying it as advice rather than as an order. From what she'd already seen of him, he didn't eactly seem like the most obidient type. On the most part this was something that frustrated and even angered Akuma, but also somehow amused her, making her think of strategies in how she could try using different approaches when speaking to him. At the last part of what he'd said, the elegant line of her eyebrow arched in thought. "Oh, sleepwalking? Well, there are many methods to prevent sleepwalking from happening. The breaking of the legs seems like they'd be one of them." Akuma responded. Although there was a slight smile across her lips, she spoke in her usual cold tone of voice, making it purpously unclear as to whether she was joking or not.

xxx"We're very rarely seen so most don't believe we exist. It doesn't surprise me that you've only heard hearsay about our kind. I'm glad to see you are amused to have finally met one of us," Jude hummed cheerfully while quickly flipping his sword. His gaze never left the vampiress even as she dropped out of her cool demeanor. Letting her snap, he continued remaining calm and flipping his sword every once in a while. He waited for her to finish, taking brief mental notes on her words yet never opening his mouth to argue.

xxxWhen she finished snapping and cooled down, he gave a soft chuckle. Then she was trying to sweep her irritability under the rug by pretending nothing had happened followed by a statement that could be taken as a threat. Was she trying to intimidate him or something? "Of course I do. No, I didn't expect you not to know due to the fact that you're one of those bloodsuckers. If only you knew how naive and childish that question you answered with never was. You aren't seeing the full picture thus you are left within shadows and lies. You do not know what I enjoy nor will you ever know. And finally, I'd love to see you try without ending up like the rest of your coven did," he responded cooly while raising a finger for every sentence he spoke. Making a brief salute with his sword's hilt, he started for the door as his version of telling her that he was intending to go exploring. As he headed for the door, he started up softly singing Menace by Five Finger Death Punch.

"Well... I am always intrigued by other beings, especially those who are unique." Akuma had pointed out shortly before she'd snapped. Although now, she held her usual calm composure, her head raised a bit higher and her elegant figure standing perfectly upright within an almost tense posture. Her amber gaze shifted to study his sword, and Akuma couldn't help but wonder if he'd ever use it eventually. She had no doubt in the possibility that he would as a form of defense, should her more vampiric instincts ever fully take over. The thought of it was enough to send a curious thrill through her mind, a slight smirk now held across her lips. Taking impetuous yet equally well-considered risks was something that Akuma had always found entertaining, even if such things were hard to take considering she spent most of her time within the security of her home.

She was surprised at the calm demeanor that he held all throughought her outburst. But at the same time, it was enough to mildly annoy her. Did he really find her anger amusing? The fact that someone would even let out so much as a chuckle after she'd shown signs of fury, was enough to anger her even more even if she now kept it under control. After letting out a deep sigh, Akuma gazed in his direction but didn't speak for a long time, as she stood within a certain stillness and instead listened to what he was saying. "Bloodsuckers..." Akuma finally repeated with a cold laugh. "I could always easily counter against that by using the term mutt." She then pointed out, her voice remaining impassive as always. "And shadows and lies are something I can deal with only because I am familiar with them." Now, Akuma's voice was tinted with anger once again, the familiar blood-red glow hinting in the depths of her eyes. As her former coven was mentioned, that was when his words got to her and she completely lost any sense of self control, something that she normally had high amounts of. Akuma found herself being swarmed with memories and pain, knowing that his words had struck her emotional weak spot. But soon enough, her pain turned to pure anger. "How do you even know about them? No one speaks of them anymore! They are nothing but a faded memories, memories in which are better left in the past." Akuma shouted after him, her lips parted slightly to expose the hooked points of her fangs as an almost feral hiss escaped from her. With her eyes now narrowed and her entire figure tensed into a crouching position, Akuma glared after him. The salute gesture that he did only annoyed her even more.

Right as she saw him starting for the door, Akuma unfolded from her crouching position and then suddenly sprung forwards within the single swift motion of a leap. She landed directly in front of him, blocking the path between him and the door. Akuma leered closer to him, her now blood-red eyes locking with his as another angered hiss slid past her lips. Her gaze breifly flickered towards his sword, although quickly shifted to glare back up at him. "Hopefully it's not too much to ask for that you never mention that again." Akuma said, her voice tense with anger as she referred to subject of her former coven.

xxx"I'm used to the childish nicknames of pup, puppy, mutt and mongrel so it doesn't bug me whereas vampires are usually very touchy about being called a bloodsucker, leech, parasite, vermin and shiki. I suppose it's that uh... What's the word I'm looking for? Narcissistic?" Jude murmured to himself while seeming to ignore the female having grown snippy once again. He focused on trying to pinpoint the exact word he wanted to use, but her hissing wasn't helping any. When she leapt in front of him, he brought up his still sheathed sword and briefly gave her the shushing motion of a finger over his lips. "I'll just settle with narcissistic air since it does suit most of the vampire species. And that would be why they have so many enemies."

xxxReturning the sheath of his sword to where it was leaning against his shoulder, he let his smile fade out while letting his gaze became a dead serious midnight blue. "They told me about this coven and what it once was. They were the ones who asked me to tell you to go amongst others of your kind should I leave whereas I merely agreed. What we see or seem is all but a fleeting dream, my undead friend. Don't get pissy with the messenger 'cause that's all I am," he responded icily to her question while letting his eyes narrow slightly. Taking a step back, he shifted his sword yet again only to where he was making it rest at his side. He then pointed to the couch as if waiting for her to move. "You were left in the shadows and filled with lies, little girl. This diplomacy you have with those around you is but a mocking game whereas your loyalty is questioned by your very kin. Drop your high and mighty act and take a good long look at reality 'cause it sure as hell not what's running through your head. You might not see the dangers lurking in these corridors, but I do and the only reason they haven't killed you yet is because your pain and misery locked so deep within your unbeating heart is what's fueling their fire. You're practically the village idiot by staying here for such a long time."

xxxAfter having vented out his irritation before it could start sliding him into the destructive, murderous version of him, his smile returned and his eyes became their usual steel blue. "You wouldn't like me when I'm mad. Halfbreeds are more powerful than pureblooded and fullbred creatures after all. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some exploring to do. If you need anything after you've cooled your jets, just gimme a holler." Now it was time for her reaction to how he'd quickly switched into an irritable mood then returned to being cheerful.

Though her darkened gaze remained locked with his and she was still tense, she was forcing herself to calm down. Despite how Akuma felt, she knew anger and acting on impulse as she'd already done wouldn't be beneficial on her part. For a moment, she allowed her eyes to flutter closed and stepped back, drawing in a few deep breaths to steady herself. Akuma was even more aware to scent of his blood coming from within him, although this time she was careful to not allow that among other things to cloud her sense of judgement. While her eyes flickered back open after a moment being their usual golden-amber color, she noticed that his eyes on the other hand, had now darkened into a midnight shade of blue.

With all signs of anger having vanished from her, Akuma stared at him with a blank expression shown across the delicate features of her face. This time, she didn't plan on allowing his words to get to her so easily, even if she knew he was partially correct. Not that Akuma planned on admitting it. "Alright then, Jude. Thank you for sharing your point of view," Was all that she responded within an oddly calm tone of voice, although now looked away from him, not making direct eye contact. The complexity of an expression blended between that of an amused smile as well as a tone of somberness soon appeared across her face. "I don't know how to respond about the 'village idiot' part, as it is obviously not something I agree with... But in having locked pain and misery? Yep, you nailed that part down perfectly." Akuma said with a slight glance in his direction. "Perhaps later, you can also inform me of these dangers that you speak of..." She also then added with a note of curiosity tinting her voice. Part of the reason she'd chosen to drop her act of defense was simply because she now knew that he was a half-breed, and from previous experience, Akuma did in fact know that half-breeds were quite strong. Finally, the last thing Akuma did in response to him was give the impassive waving gesture of her hand. "Alright, but in terms of going into the west wing, that part of the home is kind of... destroyed. Still standing, but charred and unable to be fixed. Also, I wouldn't go in there unless you have a liking for corpses."

xxx"So happy you opted to listen instead of continuing with that. I also thank you very much for the warning in advance about your west wing. Perhaps I could tell you more later. For now, however, I'm far too curious about what the rest of the estate looks like. We'll have to wait and see," Jude hummed cheerfully, his irritation having been vented quickly forgotten. Using his freehand, he gently took Akuma's hand in his gloved hand and licked the back of it instead of kissing it like a normal human male would've done. It was his version of being something like a gentleman, or more like his canine version of being a gentleman. After having done so, he stood back up straight and headed out the door.

xxxAs the halfbred, and very odd, male started to explore the estate, he started to softly hum to himself. As being very close to his hellhound half as he was, he could hear the different sounds from the past and the present with every step he took. While it should've been driving him crazy, as his human half would've been, his humming was keeping him calm. If one lived without restraints, there was far more fun to be had. At least if he went without restraints there would be more fun. "Oh yes, yes, yes. Even when going into that mode I have fun~ She should not dwell on the past and learn from the mistakes you all had," he purred smoothly to the empty hallway.

xxxAfter having wandered just about every room in the entire building within an hour, the halfbreed found himself back in the livingroom. Once in the room, he sat down on the floor only to drop onto his side and curl into a ball. He'd never released his sword once even as he lay on the floor with his eyes closed. "She would've liked it here..." he breathed softly to himself. He then started softly humming Blown Away by Carrie Underwood, hugging his sword a bit closer to his chest.

Akuma simply nodded in response. However, when he licked her hand, at first she wasn't sure whether the gesture was something that she should either be pleased or disgusted with. But Akuma had already guessed that this was his way of trying to be a gentleman, even if part of his more canine side had seemed to show through. Oddly enough, at the moment, Akuma found that she didn't mind and that she was instead greatful for the him trying to make a gentlemanly gesture in the first place. After that, she grew slightly tense, not used to the idea of someone freely exploring her home.

With a part of her not yet fully trusting, she headed off a similar direction, now wandering off down a long stretch of staircase up towards her bedroom. Extending her senses out and now utilizing the full extent of her hearing, Akuma thought at first she'd heard him speak. But she knew she could've been mistaken. After going over it in her mind, she realized then that he had in fact been speaking. To an empty hallway? It was something that didn't make sense to her, but at the same time, Akuma was aware that there were many things that didn't make sense anymore. But this in particular was enough to spark her curiosity. Her gaze swept across the hallway within an observative manner. After noting to herself in her mind that everything seemed to be in order, Akuma headed back downstairs to the living room, only to pause once she saw him lying on the floor with closed eyes. At hearing him say something softly to himself, Akuma chose not to ask about it, as though not wanting to seem intrusive.

"Well... Now that I take it you've seen the rest of the house, I assume you know by now you'll have your own room of course. Feel free to pick any bedroom, with the exception of the one at the top floor." She instead said with the light shrug of her shoulders. "Also, if your hungry, there's plenty of food in the kitchen." Akuma also added. Not that real food was something she was particularly used to or liked having in her home. To her, 'normal' food had always smelled and tasted odd... Not exactly unpleasant, just odd. But in terms of taste, Akuma perferred her version of food much more. With the thought of blood now entering her mind, she felt the mild burn of thirst, although was able to keep it under control for the moment. But it was then that she was also reminded of the purpose why she kept slaves anyways. Trying to distract herself, Akuma then glanced over at him and focused on another thought. "So... In the hallway... Sounded like you were talking to someone, something?" She said with the shrug of her shoulders. Unless he's just crazy, Akuma then silently added on to herself in her mind.

"I guessed as much. I also kinda figured you'd be all defensive about your room since you aren't sure how trustworthy I am," Jude responded cooly from where he lay at. He didn't appear to be prepared to move from that spot either. At least that was until she spoke of him talking to an empty hallway. Letting his eyes open a bit, he pushed himself into a position where he was sitting up and he didn't seem all that happy. He didn't seem all that mad either, however, as his expression seemed blank altogether.

"I was indeed speaking with someone. Actually it was more than one someone although you might not believe me. I already must seem very odd to you," he hummed calmly as he brushed his dirty-blondish off-white hair out of his face. While he still didn't seem affected by the fact that he had been caught, his gaze shifted from Akuma's general direction to the doorway. He then gave a soft chuckle that almost sounded vicious before snapping his attention back to Akuma. He wasn't planning on telling her that he was still listening to the voices without the humming this time.

"Are you curious? Wanting to know what I'm hearing that you are unable to? What I can see that you cannot see?" he asked almost as if he were a child. After gazing at her for a few minutes, he shook his head slightly. "You wouldn't want to see the things I see nor hear the things I hear. It's a cruel life, the life of a hellhound. It's even crueler when you're only half..."
