I noticed there was no Chaos Daemon discussion in this guild! Now that just wont do. :] Being a Daemon player i thought it appropriate. If anyone has any question or just want to discuss the great lords of chaos. Post it here.

I'm sure there was one somewhere, not sure where it went to though.

Talking about Great Lords of Chaos, I've just been testing the Greater Greater Daemons (e.g An'ggrath and the others) against the Wardian Era Grey Knight Lord, Kaldor Draigo.

The results make me cry.

Hopefully cry with joy. Khorne is an effective counter to gray knights. Always has been.

It made me cry with sadness when I found on average Kaldor Draigo killed An'ggrath the Unbound with 1 wound left. The Great Unclean one with similar results, and the Keeper of Secrets he flat out annihilated 3 out of 3 with average of 2 wounds left.

I'm thinking of testing how many Bloodthirsters he can single handedly banish. I mean, Daemons are tough things, but their one true weakness, which makes sense, is the Knights.

Amazing really, I thought that after the 6th edition hit the Grey Knights would have taken a hit in their absurd powers. But then again, when facing daemons, the one foe they were created for.. emotion_dealwithit

I thought that too, since I did the same tests with 5th, but nope, came out roughly the same.

How do you guys think Daemons have been with the new rules? Better or for worse?

If I recall correctly their post-6th release FAQ had the most errata in it.

Well simply throwing Greater Daemons at your foe is no way to fight... Especially against Gray knights.

Only because the G.K are designed to beat daemons

The roleplay systems are more reasonable
