Tsuyoshi yawned as he looked over his maps of the sea, trying to chart out where he wanted to travel to next before laying his head down. his ears drooped down lightly from his exhaustion and stood up to stretch out his legs "nnnn! oh ow, i think i cracked my back"

Nayuki let herself float in the water. The feeling of the water around her was amazing. She was starting to fall asleep. Her tail was angled down so anyone above her wouldn't see it. Just a girl with a naked form.

tsuyoshi was about to sit down and work again when one of his crew members began to shout "man overboard!! Captain!!" the tiger looked up and rushed with a couple of his men to the rail, spotting nayuki in the water "damn." he snarled and jumped down to swim after her and bring her back to the ship

Nayuki blinked when she heard water splashing about. When something grabbed her she screamed and started to push away, "Hey! Let me go!"

Tsuyo grunted when she began to push away but he only tightened his grip, swimming back to his ship and gripping the lowered net "easy girl, easy. we're just trying to help you out ok? calm down." he said as the crew began to lift them both up onto the deck

Nayuki squirmed in his grip, "I don't need your help now let me go." She said her fin out of the water and flapping about.

tsuyoshi didn't see her fin until they were both on the deck. he gasped and looked nayuki over before he rubbed his hair and ears back in thought "w-well then men. Looks like we have a mermaid on deck instead of a helpless female. now what to do" he chuckled and kneeled down to try and decide what to do

Nayuki looked around at all of the men around her. She started to flip her fin a bit to try and move to the edge of the boat but some men grabbed her, "Why not keep her in a tub of water so she doesn't dry up." "She could lead us to some great treasure captain."

". . keep her in a tub but she is not to be touched or harmed and we're not using her for treasure seeking. We can do that all on our own" he ordered and let some of the men lift Nayuki up, taking her away to the lower cabins as they filled up one of cooks large tubs

Nayuki struggled and flipped her fin in one of the mens faces making him growl in rage at her but he listened to his captain and put her in the tub. She sat in there biting her lip, "What do you want from me?" She asked.

"That remains to be seen." tsuyo said as he leaned against the edge of the tub, grinning at nayuki as his ears twitched "No one has seen a mermaid in a really long time. Though I don't want to give you away only for some crazed human to chop and bleed you for immortality. that'd just be a crime against nature and beauty"

Nayuki moved against the edge of the tub away from him as much as she could go, "So.... will I ever... be set free again?" She asked softly.

"hm. . ." tsuyoshi tapped his chin in thought before looking at nayuki and jumping up, balancing on the edge as his tail swayed ". . .depends. tell me little mermaid. do you have family back in the sea?"

Nayuki gasped, "Y-yes, I do.... I also have family above the sea...." She said biting her lip knowing she had already said too much.
