It had been long time since he had seen the structures of Emperial city. For the assassin, it had been too long from his post and his home. Did the people change? He knew the political shift of power had. With the Emperor dead, and the nobles knocking on the doors of the legions, it was only a matter of time.
Change was such a funny thing. Even now, as he studied the tournament from the shadows, Such a thing would not be held. Too many people all in one place, too many that could use this to their advantage. Nobles sneaking in to off Legions, Legions doing the same.
And it had been a change when Huang had entered himself, although he used his alias this time around. They would find themselves fighting Huang under the guise of Yuan Shing, his passed friend.
With a hooded cover, mask drawn up high so that only burgandy eyes peered under the darkness, he descended down to the grounds. His short katana was hidden by the cloak. On one hand held small gauntlet with needles protuding from it. A remake of his first weapon when he had been naught but a academy student. Now it held needles dipped with various status effecting poisons.
At least it did when he wasn't participating in tournaments.
He didn't say a word though and waited for his opponent, almost like a stone statue.

Aiko was late. The woman bounded down the steps of the arena toward the ring, where she could see a tall man already standing in wait. “I’m here!” she cried, waving her short arm madly as she descended, hoping the match officiators could see her.
She was not tall in stature, barely reaching 5 feet in height, and her frame was petite, almost wiry. It was easy to dismiss her with her adorable pixie cut and perpetual smile, but that was exactly her advantage. No one ever knew to watch out for her ki-molding abilities until it was too late.
Skidding into the ring, a cloud of dust following her, she bowed quickly to her opponent with a smile, not caring that she couldn’t see the expression on his face. “Hi! Sorry I’m late!” Aiko barely had time to catch her breath before the gong was struck, signaling the start of the match.

Huang face remained stoic as the woman appeared, studying the petite figure. Regardless of her gender or her size, he was cautious and wary. The worst opponents were the ones who could fool you by making their outward apperance different then their inwards. Just because she was small, didn't mean that she wouldn't hit hard. And just because she was a woman didn't mean that she couldn't overpower him. He could distinctly remember two legion females that had given even him a hard time.
For all he knew, she could be a assassin like himself. He let the needles disappear from his hand, placing them in the slots of his million folded cloak he wore.
"When you are ready Lady Challenger." Huang's deep voiced rumbled from under the hood, his hand placed up defensively. unless she used weapons, he assumed the match would be based purely on martial arts, something he excelled at. "Or do you need another moment before we begin?" A small shift of foot steadied the assassin. Whatever she did, he would find out first and then counterattack.
Total: 9 + 10 = 19

“Oh, you’re a gentleman aren’t you!” Aiko said, straightening up and smiling brightly at her opponent. She’d been wondering what the taller man was like – he seemed so serious behind that mask! She’d take it to the many scrappers she’d passed on her way to the arena, though. At least this one looked like he’d give her a good fight.
She widened her stance, letting the ki flow to her feet. “May the best win,” she said, before running forward, closing the distance between them nearly instantly. Her remarkable speed might have been expected of someone so small, but her next hit was sure to be a surprise.
Channeling her ki to her arms, she aimed a series of punches at the man’s ribs, hoping to at least impair him. The strength of her hits was impossible coming from her small frame, and the smug expression on her face suggested she knew this. Still, it was over for her if she got hit too hard.

"Not all all Lady Challenger." Huang gruffed as she studied him. It was not an upcoming reaction to his constant state of politeness. "And to you as well." Even if she couldn't see it, he inclined his head respectfully, not faltering from his defensive position.
When she lunged, he blinked at the surprisingly fast movement of her petite form. He had expected speed, most smaller fighters used it to their advantage. he didn't expect powerful punches to his ribs, his breath catching as she hit...and hit hard.
A miscalculation in the first of the matches in the tournament was to be up against one who was in tune with the chi of her body. While Huang specilized in advancement powers to his feet, he didn't to his arms and thus he time he blocked, she manuvered into his space and hit him again.
He only kept silent as one of his blows connected. It didn't do much power though, due to his reservations of hurting the lady to much, especially since he was a captain and grunted as she only returned again.
"A powerful fighter you seem to be." Huang frown deepened under his hood.Total: 19 + 10 = 29 (HAHA)

Aiko hmph’ed at her challenger’s words, trying not to sound too breathless after their rapid exchange of hits. The man’s martial arts skills were impressive—he’d been able to keep up with her better than most of her other opponents. She’d felt the hit to her ribs—it had been painful enough to slow her next onslaught for a few moments—but she had stifled the reaction, allowing no more than one small cough afterward.
“You’re not too shabby either, good sir,” she answered finally, an impish smile appearing on her face as she closed in again. This time, she aimed two ki-enhanced hits to the stomach, and after that attempt, a kick that would throw his legs out from under him.
Finally, she stood, for the first time staring down on her challenger rather than craning her head up to look at him. “I should have liked to meet you out of the arena. Perhaps we can exchange notes over tea sometime.” Aiko bowed briefly then, before—was she skipping?—hopping out of the ring.

Huang had done his best to keep up with the girl, but with her speed and her suprisingly strong attacks, he was starting to lose stamina to the female lunarian.
When he felt the final blow, hitting the ground hard, he lay there and wondered when it was that he got so weak. The hood falling away to show deep midnight hair styled with spikes.
"A welcome reminder that I do need to return to training again. Thank you Lady Challenger." Huang smiled despite her not being able to see it all. "If that is the lady's wish, I would be much obliged to come and share techniques." All information was good information. He flipped himself up and dusted himself off, recovering fast.
"And now to the next one."Total: 29 + 7 = 36
