Usually the library was pretty quiet. There was a large group of students that you didn't expect to see in there at all--homework or not. Roch was probably at the top of the list for those that didn't know him. (When he WAS in the library, you never saw him since he was deep in the music composition section--where no one hardly ever went.) But today was different. A faint sound of people speaking came from one of the tables near the front. It was muffled, but the voices were familiar to those that knew them. One of the voices belonged to Invictus, but the horseman was nowhere to be seen. It was just Roch sitting at one of the tables, his phone next to him, replaying a conversation and jotting down notes.

Junko was in the search for cook books and possibly history books with pictures. Lots of pictures. All the pictures. Of clothes. She stopped when she heard Invictus' voice, looking all around for her favorite horseman. Invi? Junko peered around a few book cases and found nothing. No Invictus. She sagged with disappointment and continued walking, hearing Shun's voice next. Oh! Shun! She followed the voice, stopping when she spotted Roch at a table taking notes. Eh? ...They were talking about Mitsu and Hunters in the recording. Junko frowned. "What does Mitsu panic at the sight of now because of them?"

Roch jerked at the question, cursing himself for figuring no one was in the library. For a moment he stared at Junko. "You the real Junko?" he asked strangely. His paranoia after hearing what had happened to Mitsu was over the roof. They could look, sound, and ACT just like people he knew--to the point where their lovers thought they were the real deal. That wasn't right, man. Just not right!

Junko's face actually flushed, her lips pursing and her cheeks puffing out in the most annoyed pout ever made by the ghoul. "RUDE! Is that how you greet people, boil!? Hello, Roch! How are you doing? I hope you're fairing we--ARE YOU THE REAL JUNKO?!" Came a voice different from Junko's but coming from the same ghoul. Her expression never changed, her mouth never even twitched. It was The Mistress sharing both her and Junko's opinion.
Proof enough? If it wasn't then Junko's writhing hair should have been enough.

"Yep, you're the real one," Roch said. "Unless hunters are really good actors..." then he frowned, clearly considering it. "Jack, now I'm gonna be starin' at EVERYONE--no wonder Shun's paranoid. Can't be good, he's only got one eye t'strain," he muttered. "Sup, Junko? Do I need t'turn it down? I didn't figure anyone was in here."

She frowned. "You can't go around asking if someone is a golem. What makes you think they'll just say 'oh yes, I am a hunter! You have found me out. Whatever shall I do. I guess I will go home now,'" Junko reminded Roch in a flat mockery of a totally convincing in every way Hunter. It wasn't convincing at all. "Did you not go to the heir's lesson about hunters? They have golems, but their golems cannot use our natural talents."
"Dumbass."
"Hush." Junko hissed back at Her before she turned to Roch again and gave him a small smile. "No, you're fine. I was just curious what you're doing. I heard Invictus as well...is it a project?"

"Yeah, you're right, sorry," Roch said, running a hand over his face. "I was just told what... y'know, happened t'Mitsu." Did Junko know what happened? It'd been a bit back--he figured he only found out now because he'd been focused on Amphi not being able to talk.
He frowned for a bit, ignoring the "dumbass" comment entirely. "Can't use natural abilities--I knew they couldn't summon their pins, and they couldn't last in a fight, but I didn't remember that one." He jotted it down.

"Yes I...I was told about that.." Junko's hair sagged around her, hanging limp like a heavy curtain of black around the ghoul that reached the ground and even pooled around her feet. It was tragic, even with the slight silver lining that the hunter responsible had seen to it she was sent home. But was it as a message or an act of mercy? Junko had seen things that..made her want to believe it had been mercy and kindness.
He was jotting down more notes, paying attention to every word she said. The ghoul blinked and quietly approached the boil, peering over his shoulder to see what he was doing. "This doesn't look like something a professor would assign."

"It ain't," Roch said. "I'm puttin' together somethin' for Amphi t'listen to, cuz she ain't listenin' t'me," he said. "She's havin' trouble realizin' that hunters ain't t'be trusted." Which was a polite way of saying it. "So I'm askin' people about their experiences with hunters."
And Invi and Shun were the ones he had already asked.

Ah, so that was it. Reasonable..but... "I'm sure Amphi has her reasons. She's a strong ghoul...a..and Hunters..." Junko pursed her lips.
"Junko's got lotsa Hunter experience."
She frowned. "Well, yes but.."

"They kidnapped her, they experimented on her, and they turned Isra into a weapon--an' I'm pretty sure she was there t'see it. She couldn't SPEAK for a month after it happened, Junko. Just because ONE hunter was nice t'her--" He shook his head. "No, they ain't t'be trusted. Not if y'ask me. But--"
He stopped, looking at her hair for a moment. "Why don't y'tell me about your experiences?" he asked. "If y'don't mind Amphi listenin' to them later, that is."

Junko bit down on her lip but sat down beside Roch anyway. "You might not like it.." She glanced at the recorder. "No, I don't mind. Um...should I just..talk or do you have questions? I've never done this.."

"I ask some questions, you answer what y'want, and tell me what y'wanna talk about as we go," Roch said, messing with his phone to start a new recording. "First, tell me about the first time y'met a hunter," he said, holding the phone up so it would catch her voice.

"Oh, gosh. The first time?" Junko's eyes widened. So far back?! "None of us knew he was a hunter at the time. Um..it was back in my first year. I only know he's a hunter now because we've seen him and his scythe since then. Caelius? He was on our train to Christmas town, pretending to be one of us. A teacher. And then after that...well I guess the most definite experience with hunters was on that island, during the first field trip to it. One of them c..cut..." A trembling hand grabbed hold of some of her hair and held it tightly, her eyes lowering to it.
"b*****d cut off her hair. It grew back when we returned to Halloween."
Junko nodded. "A-and then..we fought them off and...yeah.." She shivered, shaking it off and running her fingers through her hair. So far this was what Roch wanted to hear, but it was clear Junko was nervous. Her experiences were far from traumatic after that excluding large events that mostly everyone she knew had experienced as well. "Those are just the first few times, of course."

"Other than the hair cut--what was the moment that most stuck out for you, dealin' with hunters?" Roch asked, figuring the hair cut was probably traumatic enough for someone with that much. He'd hated the idea of being shaved.
