Ilex walked through the perennial bunch grass that made up the local grasslands. Here was a bit of a colder climate then many noodles enjoyed but one couldn’t help but enjoy the chilly bite of the ocean air. It was a sunny day for the winter season and Ilex enjoyed looking at the sky. The clouds were white and fully fluffy. Ilex grinned in happiness when he noticed the clouds –not a single rain cloud was to be found.
It had been a rather rainy winter season which gave Ilex more appreciation for days like this. Ilex was rather tired of the rain but knew the plant life sorely needed the rain. The grasslands were after all looking very lush and pleasant.
Ilex settled on the ground and simply enjoyed the sun. The wind had started to fade away as morning gave way to afternoon and Ilex enjoyed the warm rays on his face. He felt very comfortable and closed his eyes and gently drifted into a dozing state.

She watched the demonic lay down and decided he was not a threat to her and her plants. Lily started to head over to introduce herself, when she heard some Glory of the Snow (small blue flowers) cry out. The larger male was obviously trying to impress the smaller female by stomping about and fighting unseen monsters. Lily was only a few inches from the dark demonic when she got the destress call. "Hey!" She spun and took off toward the blundering male. "Stop stepping on those flowers and appologize!"
She was too short to stand up to him, so she had to fly to be at eye level. The bully laughed, swatted her out of the air like a bug, and started to leave. "I'm. Not. Done. With you." Lily panted as she fought to regain her footing.

Ilex yawned as he woke up suddenly from his mid afternoon nap. He was feeling a little heavy-eyed in a lethargic manner. Still he was a little confused by what had woken him from his sleep. Ilex ears twitched back and forth as they tried to recognize the disturbance. He could hear the harsh sound of cruel laughter and a female plaintive voice. The voices did not sound like this was a peaceful interaction. Worried Ilex headed towards the voices and was surprised to see a large demonic male bullying a slender green angelic noodle. Another female stood on the side and seemed indifferent to the plight of the small green angelic female. The large demonic male had a cruel smirk to his uplifted lip as he swatted the small female noodle. Ilex eyes narrowed in distaste no female should ever been disrespected by a male. He felt anger simmer inside him and looked around before grabbing a rock and hurling it at the male. The rock hit the other male in the mouth which caused it to bleed profusely.

Lily stumbled back as the bully swore in pain. She didn't immedietly spot who threw the rock, but took the opportunity to regain her footing. "Now, you better say you're sorry! Or else!" She got into a fighting stance and put up her tiny fists. The girlfriend complained about being cold, but the giant male ignored her. He looked at Lily, then stomped on more of the flowers and growled at her. Lily's eyes watered at their pain and her anger only grew. "You big ol' bully!" Glancing around, she spotted the rock that had broken the giant's jaw and snatched it up. The male grabbed her, but she used it to crush his fingers. He groaned in pain, but released her only to pin her with his other hand. The rock fell from her grasp and rolled away as she cried out in pain. "Let me go!"

Ilex felt his temper rise as he watched the confrontation. His angered simmered and his upper lip curled in an aggressive manner. He snarled loud and deep but the other male seemed unaware of him. The bully was too busy picking on a smaller noddle and not only was the victim much smaller in stature but the victim was a female. The bully's female seemed oblivious to the other female distress which angered Ilex even more. He raced out into the opening where the confrontation was taking place. Ilex flapped his wings open in a threatening gesture and snarled ferociously at the other male. “ How dare you threaten someone who’s hasn’t done you harm. If you desire to fight someone your size I’ll be happy to battle you.” Ilex growled out and a red haze seemed to fill his eyes.
