Shun had just been ready to head out shortly and open the door to leave when he heard a knock. Pausing for a moment, he wondered who that could be. It probably wasn't Mitsu since she had access to his room. Lizzy and Xiu usually called ahead of time and well... Hel was a lot louder.

Opening up, he was surprised to see Roch standing there on the other side. It wasn't too often that he really dealt with the other grim.

"Is there something you want?" he asked quietly. There was no hostility in his tone. It was simply what it was.

At first, Shun furrowed his brow and stared at the phone. An interview? Why would...

Oh. He wasn't really sure how to feel about what he had just been told. He knew there were those who didn't trust the horsemen. Lizzy. Xiu. Mitsu. But they didn't really think they were worse than the hunters. As far as he knew they were about on par. Personally, he'd definitely side with horsemen over the hunters. Though he had a few promises in place that prevented him from joining them in the least.

Quite frankly, a part of him couldn't help but feel that it was stupid to take to the hunters over the horsemen.

"If it's s**t about hunters you need, I have plenty. After all the ******** up things they pulled with Mitsu," he muttered before stepping back into his room. He'd rather speak about it in private than out in the open. One thing for certain; this reaper hated that sect of humans greatly. There was certainly no denying that.

"Tag her..?"

Shun wasn't sure what that was. As far as he knew, she wasn't... Whatever it was, it didn't sound good, and he frowned at the thought. Shaking his head, he considered just how much he should say. Most of this information had been kept under wraps. But then again, some of it was semi public. It had been posted on the Seed's forum at least.

"Well for one thing, the Mitsu I originally rescued and nearly died for was a ******** fake. The hunters had been improving their game. It was one of those jacking fake bodies. Made of real fear. It was Candace all along," he hissed under his breath. Speaking of it only agitated him all over again. He was going to kill her one of these days. He swore it.

"The damn thing sounded.. looked just like her. I thought she had just lost her memory but I was a ******** fool. And so for a month I was dealing with a hunter. I destroyed it once I found out, and it actually dissipated. Didn't stop the fact that Mitsu was still at the island at the time.. and that isn't even all of it," he muttered, turning away to try and calm himself down.

"I won't go into too many details. But she's scarred now. Mentally and physically," Shun said lowly. There was a pause as he was trying to think of what else to add. He wanted to put some emphasis to this, but at the same time, he wasn't sure if he should be revealing a weakness of hers.

Granted, Roch was anti-hunters as well. He didn't think he would do anything to try and exploit it. Still, he mulled it over a little. Of course, he was working on trying to absolve this weakness so hopefully it wouldn't be an issue for too long.

"Let's just say that right now? She panics at the sight of these," he said while summoning his daggers, "Even though she knows I wouldn't just cut her up. Even if these are just sitting on a table.. she recoils."

And then the blades were dismissed.

"Knives specifically. Perhaps other blades too," Shun shrugged. It didn't matter that much. The fear was still there. If he could break her phobia of knives, it would probably apply to anything else along those lines too. At the explanation given about the tags, he frowned. That was certainly not good at all. Mitsu didn't mention anything of that sort. He hoped it meant she didn't receive that on top of everything else.

"Wary. She wasn't taken at the same time as the others. She was a hunter's personal project. We were tricked. Ambushed," he said unhappily, "She doesn't trust new faces on campus. And neither do I for that matter."

He really couldn't blame her on that front. He couldn't tell who was a student and who was a hunter in disguise. Not without some show of fear. Granted, Roch had seen him be suspicious of the new kids.

"She wanted to weaponize her," Shun said quietly but coldly, "Apparently it was because she's nice. She figured she'd make a good weapon."

"And when that plan was nixed, well... Other hunters took over. And that happened. Candace may have also helped return Mitsu back home after everything that happened but she was the one who put her there in the first place."

Yes, he was grateful that she had actually sent the girl back to Halloween.. but it certainly didn't make up for everything else. He couldn't forgive her still. Too many wrongs had been committed for that one right to fix. Even so, despite his hatred, he wanted to make sure some facts were at least set out straight.

"No. She still doesn't use the mask," he said.

"Apparently some of them have chosen to be that way," Shun murmured. He didn't understand it. As with Roch, he felt that was a fate worse than death. Why the hell would someone willingly choose that sort of life?

He soon nodded slowly to the other reaper, pausing at that.. choice analogy that was used.

"That's one way of putting it I suppose. Mitsu is still recovering from the things that have been done to her. She wasn't killed or weaponized at least, but that doesn't change what happened."

There was a pause, then he looked towards Roch while narrowing his good eye.

"Not trusting the horsemen is one thing. But definitely do not trust a hunter. They're deceptive. If one is seeming to be friendly or whatever, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some ulterior motive to it."
