User ImageName: Lynden Haddock (Lynn for short)
Age: 18

Appearance: A youth of five feet, eight inches, Lynden presents as someone that blends well into the forest. With sun-tanned skin and golden brown hair, he augments the look with long hair braided with leaves, feathers, and grasses, and wears leather clothes with a cloak made to imitate the forest floor vegetation. His body is gangling and sleek, built for speed and climbing. His eyes are a fierce blue-green, and his fine face is set usually in an intense or 'listening' expression. In the colder months, he trades his vegetation cloak for a fur one.

Personality: Lynden is, at his core, a very faith-driven, passionate person. His beliefs are his most important thing. He follows the Old Ways strictly, taking it upon himself to see that they are observed when other people don't. He is quiet, though, when in the company of 'normal' people, at least, until he is comfortable around them. He is a patient teacher, a guardian of those that live close to the woods, and an observer of the rhythm of the world. Often times he is seen as an aloof and mysterious figure, off in the distance.

History: Raised by his grandmother, a hedgewitch from the forest, he was taught in the Old Ways as far back as he can remember. Living out of the forest is his specialty, and he does so with respect, honor, and vigilance. He's been on his own for a few years, after his grandmother passed away, and he's lived pretty well, especially since the gaining of his trusted Familiar, Thane. Together, they work to appease the spirits with gifts and prayer. He is considered odd for a hedgewitch, mostly because he is male, but also because of the strength of his beliefs and his insistence on maintaining a good relationship of the townfolk and farmers with the spirits, even when he is mocked for it, or in the face of folk thinking he is a fool. Most people hardly even know he is there, but he at least attempts to make a few acquaintances in villages, so that he may have a haven if something goes wrong.
