After the last few seconds of music had played from Lauri's theme, a slow, melodic bass line would infect the stands, provoking feet to tap and heads to bob as a dense fog started to smother the stage floor. A simple kick bass started to keep time mere measures after, a haunting ensemble that heralded Salem to the stage - dressed in his signature buckled pants and wrist wraps. "I'm gonna fight 'em off... A seven-nation army couldn't hold me back... They're gonna rip it off... Takin' their time right behind my back... And I'm talkin' to myself at night, because I can't forget..."As though hypnotized by Jack White's haunting vocal deliveries, Salem bobbed his head to the beat, slowly raising his hands to encourage the arena to get louder, already clapping in time with the thump of Meg White's pedal. "Back and forth through my mind, behind a cigarette..."As the cymbals clashed to the escalating guitar riff, Salem's eyes widened, hands clentched into fists high above his head. "And the message coming from my eyes says 'Leave it alone'...!"Throwing his hands down, the stage erupted into a plume of flame that dissolved the fog and obscured Salem in triumphant swirls of red and orange. Emerging through the wall of fire, Salem ran down the ramp, fearlessly sliding into the ring and springing onto his feet with a thunderous shout. Beating his chest, he turned to face all four sides of the ring, rushing to the ropes to lean over and embrace his fans before taking place at center ring, extending a hand to Lauri.

((Sorry for the Delay Salem))
Lauri accepted the handshake before giving him some space as the bell rang signalling the match to begin.

(No worries. ^_^) Salem bobbed his head to the final breaths of bass before his music faded out, huffing and stretching as the bell rang. Anyone standing across the ring from LWL's premiere champion would have to bring their 'A-Game', and an intrepid rookie such as Salem was no exception. Before the third chime of the bell could be struck, Salem had leaped clear across the ring towards Lauri, showcasing his reaction speed and trademark legwork.
Illustrating one of his high-impact strategies, Salem drew his right fist back, bowing his shoulders the same way as he set up for a Superman Punch. However, the move was only a fake intended to draw Lauri's immediate attention elevated.
As Lauri hopefully went to block or evade, watching Salem's telegraphed fist, he'd instead snap his right boot up, shifting his momentum on a dime into the toe of his foot to rock Lauri underneath the chin with a Flying Frontkick underneath his blind spot.

Salem Croft, in all honesty all the Lone Wolf knew about this individual was that he was a talented rookie with a grudge against a vet Cyrus Leone. Wether or not his grudge was to all vet's or Leone inparticular was unknown to him and right now it doesn't matter.
And the 1st move would be an over played punch by Salem seems easily avoidable but as the incoming punch to the face became an incoming foot to the face rocking his head to the side Lauri's response would be a chuckle as he cocked his head back to face his opponent...
...and then attempt a sudden headbutt to Salem's nose.
((I really need to stop over thinking I had like 4-5 ways to deal with this and im like Oh what to choose lol))

Salem's kick had connected, but the blow had barely rattled the Lone Wolf known as Lauri Henry. Salem's eyes went wide in a mixture of shock and frustration, unsure for a moment about how difficult his opponent would be to bring down.
Giving him no time to think, However, Lauri's face would surge forward into Salem's, causing him to fall back into the opposing ropes at his back, clutching the bridge of his nose in agony.

As Salem would fall back the Lone Wolf would advance towards him arms extended, ready to attempt a few wild shots.
Its time to see how this guy handled pressure.

Salem's eyes were a bit blurry from the mind-numbing headbutt, but the thunderous thuds of Lauri's boots across the canvas gave him all the warning necessary. Looking to take the wildman by surprise, Salem would drop to the mat, attempting to send Henry swinging into the ropes with a Drop Toe Hold.

Salem had turned the tides in the early goings of this match, but he'd have to deliver non-stop offense if he were to hold the LWL Champion down for the three count. Extending his arms, Salem woul point to the crowd as he lined up behind Henry, who was draped across the top rope.
Running forward, Salem would show off more of his high-flying, high-impact offense by leaping for a Missile Dropkick aimed at the back of Lauri's head. If successful, Salem would clip the LWL Champion's skull, sail out of the ring, and land nimbly on his feet.

Lauri could feel the canvas vibrations as Salem charged at him Well time for this rookie to see that this vet could still move quickly.
Using the ropes, Lauri would try to pull himself slightly out of harms way quickly torquing his body to attempt a double fisted hammer to a passing Salem if he avoided.
would this work? would it miss? Find out in the next post!! xd

((5 day auto hit))
In one fluent motion of veteran instinct, the Lone Wolf avoids and counters. Planting his double fists directly into the chest of the newcomer Salem Croft causing him to bounce between the ropes before sliding and falling down near the crowd below.

(Lol. Damn it, my bad. I was about to post, actually...got caught up with some craziness this past week. But, now I'm an uncle. Funny how that works out. sweatdrop ) Salem was caught by surprise as the Lone Wolf deftly avoided his risky dive towards the ropes, instead turning it into a high-impact Axe Handle. The blow looked like it took Salem's head off, the upstart's limbs going limp as he sailed over the ropes, crashing hard onto the padded concrete outside the ring. Dazed and rattled, Salem would struggle to climb up the security wall and get back to his feet, clutching his throbbing head with one hand while wiping a bead of blood from his busted bottom lip. Glaring up at Lauri, Salem stomped up the stairs, getting back inside the ring for Round Two.

Lauri clutched his hands giving a slight smirk in response to Salem's glare as he came back up the ring he would only motion with both hands to bring it as they got set for round 2.
