(Disclaimer: Backdated RP)
Lex was completely hopped up on an odd feeling of euphoria ever since he'd gotten back from that...odd encounter he'd had with Ami. Apparently others had been having weird things happen like that too; random portals appearing to swallow them up and spit them out in some kind of pseudo reality. It didn't concern the Lifer at the moment, oddly.
He was whistling, hands in his pockets, as he made his way down a corridor. He didn't quite know where he was headed, but he was content with it. Life was good at the moment, no drama. Each step taken gained him an iota of euphoria more, until he finally bumped into a familiar Death Hunter.
"Wilson!" He exclaimed, pulling the other man into a big bear hug. "How's my favorite Death man?"

He had been in the mood for sweets, so Wilson went to the kitchen to bake cookies. The kitchen rarely had quality baked goods, which left him with no choice but to make his own. He strolled backwards as usual while holding onto a paper bag filled with freshly-backed snickerdoodles. Wilson appeared peacefully content as he pulled out a cookie and bit into it. =v=!! It was slightly crunchy; just the way he liked it.
Startled as someone pulled him into a hug from behind. Wilson quickly maneuvered his arms to rescue his cookies from potential destruction. A few crumbs still adorned his mouth when he tried to turn around to see who it was, but fortunately he recognized the voice. “Lex! Hi…” He knitted his brows together at the unusual greeting. Actually, it didn’t seem in character for Lex to grab him into a bear hug. “I was just eating some cookies. Do you want some?” His smile was friendly like always, but he was still eyeing the other hunter.

"Oh, I love cookies!" Lex exclaimed, dropping the Death and giving him a rather expectant look. "Oh, but as long as they don't have chocolate. I'd get all sorts of rashes and nasty coughs. Kidna sucks, really. I would love to be able to eat chocolate chip cookies...just once."
A wistful sight and a simple shrug, and the tall man was smiling again. "So, what've you been up to today? Training? Subterfuge? Subterfuge training? Stealing info from Life Hunters?" He was like a yapping puppy, eyes big as he basically pleaded for Wilson to answer him. A big great dane puppy that would probably knock someone over with his whip like tail.

Wilson kept feigning a smile as he continued to observe Lex’s peculiar behavior. “That’s…good. I love cookies too,” he answered stiffly. Genuine interest and surprise lit up the death hunter’s face. “Oh, you’re allergic to chocolate? I didn’t realize. I’ll definitely keep that in mind in the future.” Once he was dropped, he offered the bag to the other man. “But these cookies aren’t chocolate. They’re snickerdoodles. They have cinnamon in them.”
“Oh! Um. Yeah, just the usual. I was out training and then yeah, I did do a few rounds of Deathsweeper afterwards.” He winced at the memory and rolled his shoulders before taking out another cookie and biting it. “No info stealing, though. I’m not that kind of person…” His voice drifted off as he kept warily staring at Lex. “Are you okay? You seem different today.”

"Mmm, snickerdoodles are good. I enjoy snickerdoodles." Lex stated, taking a cookie with a bright smile and biting into the treat like a five year old would - all in one bite. "Oh! Oh these are really good Wilson!" He exclaimed, eyes growing wider.
"Yeah, I'm feeling fine...just a bit happier than normal, I suppose?" He chewed on his bottom lip with an expression of mild curiosity, grey eyes narrowing as he thought about just why he was feeling happier. It'd been a good day since he'd gone through the Christmas themed portal....
Maybe he was still feeling the aftereffects? Like one did on December 26th. Possibly.
"I dunno!" He shrugged, smiling. Clapping Wilson on the back, he looked down the hall for a second.
"Hey, wanna do something fun?"

Wilson gave Lex a weird look as he casually shoved the entire cookie into his mouth. He slowly pointed at the life trainee. “You just…Oh, well, thank you?” The confused expression on the death hunter’s face refused to disappear.
He eyed him suspiciously. “Just a bit happier?” That seemed debatable, but at least Lex noticed a difference. For a moment it seemed like the life trainee would reach an epiphany, but then he just went back to being chipper.
The clap sent him stumbling forward a couple of steps. “Depends on what that something is. Fun is relative.” If he could avoid anything embarrassing, he would.

"Well....." Lex pondered, tapping his chin. What would be fun to do around here? Mess with Leon while he was lifting? Maybe relabel all of Solia's files? Switch Caelius' shampoo out with honey? No, those were all bad ideas...
Oh! Of course! "We could do the Deathsweeper course? Or, uh, run around the beach? I don't know, I just want to be active! I want to do something!" He didn't realize it, but Lex had taken Wilson by the shoulders and started shaking him with more vigor than necessary. He really wanted to do something, apparently.

Wilson kept eyeing Lex as the hunter began to shake him back and forth. O_O “Active. Yeah, I can do active. I do that a lot.” He didn’t exactly go to the gym like, say, Leon or Dakota, but he loved to run around the island. It was a familiar routine he had started in high school when he had joined the cross country team.
Running around the beach with the current Lex seemed awkward, so he opted to lead Lex toward the training fields. “Sure, we can do a round of Deathsweeper. I don’t know if you actually want to do that though…”
