Minkowski, on the other hand, had never met a guardian cat, at least not so far. At least, not as far as she knew. There were still a lot of questions that needed to be asked, once she could find an older, more experienced senshi (or, really, anyone that was order-aligned or at least wouldn't attempt to fight with her) who could answer them.

In the meanwhile, though, Minkowski was on patrol, only she wasn't exactly looking for youma to fight. Rather, as she was still undecided what role she wanted to play precisely, she had stuck to playing healer for now, keeping an eye out for anyone that might possibly need any scrapes or bruises patched up, as that was the best she could do at the current time. Of course, there had been nothing to note, and Minkowski had ended up sort of defeating a puny little youma herself, and so she hung around, making a note to head home soon.

... Just when she was about to do just that, though, an unknown signal caught her attention, one that was headed right in her direction. Pausing, Minkowski looked around, trying to pinpoint the source of it. Hm... just where was it coming from?

The appearance of Pippin surprised Minkowski, but the petite butterfly senshi soon found herself kneeling down to greet Pippin having never met a guardian cat before.

"It's nice to meet you, Pippin," she told him, hesitantly reaching out to pet him, "I'm Sailor Minkowski... but I suppose you already know that."

He was excited to see her? Well, Minkowski didn't mind too terribly; he was cute, and she was fond of small animals, as well. Giggling, she watched as he moved around to get a better look.

"I never knew I had a cat," she admitted, "I've never met any others before you, actually."

There was a hazy memory of an encounter with a cat that had given her her henshin pen and phone, months and months ago, but truth be told, Minkowski couldn't remember any details beyond that.

"Oh, please don't feel like you have to!" Minkowski assured Pippin, feeling guilty, "It's my own fault- I should have asked him to stay... or at least asked some questions."

Arguably, though, that hadn't occurred to her until after it was all said and done. Meeting a talking cat and finding out she had magical powers of some sort had been a bit overwhelming.

"Thank you, though, Pippin; you're too kind," she continued, smiling, "I'm sure we'll be really good friends- I look forward to it."

Pippin was pretty much the cutest cat Minkowski had ever met, at this point. Quite possibly, although she didn't know any other guardian cats yet, he was probably the cutest of them, as well. It amused her, at least, that he was so enthusiastic about meeting her.

"I'll do my best not to let you down," she told Pippin, smiling.
